A little noodling online and this gem popped up... an Eastern European market with all sorts of goodies! If you haven't been, definitely check it out. It was hopping too! So many people in there. Elysian Fields has the largest concentration of Kurdish people in the country. Here you will find a restaurant and a couple of markets. Azadi Market is famous for making the famous Kurdish bread which is made on the premises. I believe it's made by the women in ovens in the ground, and it's round and is about the size of an extra large pizza. It comes in a bag of four or five pieces and is very inexpensive and absolutely delicious. Do yourself a favor and try it sometime. By the way, they also have a small cafe in the rear and the food looked and smelled fantastic...next time. The staff there were very helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking.
