I know, bragging about a dentist is weird, but MY dentist, at South River Dental, Dr.Bautista (aka Dr. B) IS THE BEST! When I write THE BEST, am not just talking about his skill and knowledge, but also how meticulous the office is in cleanliness and organization. It is evident that he carefully trains his staff to emulate his skills, and the team is always updating procedures and learning new skills. For example, they now offer dental implants in house, making it even easier to have options. When Dr. B is unable to see me, I have been placed the the very capable hands of Dr. Lopez or a few other colleagues. One of the best things I can tell you about this office - you are really taken care of: There is always an update, phone call or even just a quick chat with a dentist to explore your personalized options. I have found that one of the most important elements in having excellent dental health, is finding a team that makes you feel welcome. Dr. B YOU ARE STUCK WITH ME FOR ANOTHER 5 YEARS. The office is always neat and clean, and as they are open during these difficult Pandemic times, the medical necessity of keeping the area disinfected is a high priority. (Call when you arrive, they will meet you at the front door to adhere to all state guidelines and take you directly to your room.) I felt as safe as one can be, during my visits. I moved to Rancho Cordova many years ago, but I never for a moment considered switching to a dentist closer to my home. The office is comfortable, and I always get a friendly smile and welcome when I arrive. My appointment always starts on time, and I have never had a problem scheduling new appointments. It is definitely an atmosphere of family. They make it a priority to make sure you are comfortable; there is even a poster of a nice relaxing beach scene on the ceiling that you see when you are in the dental chair. I highly recommend.

I actually tried to make another appointment and they were booked 6 months out but then would continually call and email me to get me to make an appointment. I was fed up and found Southport Dentistry. The initial appointment went smoothly and didn't take forever. Dr. Dang advised me to purchase an electric toothbrush but didn't push me to purchase one at his office which was nice. The star in my opinion was the dental hygienist that did two of my cleanings. She was very thorough, gave me honest advice, and was very approachable. All the staff I have interacted with was very good and nice. I have a strict no texting policy and they would just call and leave a vm for me. Plenty of parking. There are some weekdays where they care closed and they are closed for long stretch of time during the holidays. Overall, even with my harsh work schedule I was able to book appointments.
