My cat was quickly seen by an assistant. Her vitals were taken then we waited for the doctor to come in and further inspect my cat. When he did come in, he asked several questions to eliminate or detect a possible cause. I truly felt that he took his time to make sure he had a sure diagnosis. In the end, he prescribed different medications to help my girl feel better. I think the price of the consultation and medications was very fair. I definitely see myself coming back in with my other pets

Her prices are the most reasonable and affordable in the area. I called around and visited 4 different clinics in Fullerton and she is by far the most affordable. Fortunately for me. He never was. But definitely such a pain. In my opinion. All this back and forth with failed treatments 2 different-times --when my cat likely had a obstruction. Which i asked about in the initial meeting. Ended up causing that obstruction to cause permanent damage. Btw. The referral for treatment. Was for 11 days later. about a week ago a stray cat wandered into my backyard looking extremely sick, but she was super…read morefriendly so i took her in and rehabilitated her, and immediately made an appointment for her to be spayed! ampm was the only place within my price range and super close to me, so we took my cat kiki to get her spayed and every single staff member was so so kind!! it got really busy since it was a saturday morning, but they took their time to explain everything thoroughly and made sure we understood and knew what was happening along the way. unfortunately my cat did have an infection in the uterus called pyometra, but the vet called us and explained what is was and how it would affect the costs & procedure since it qualifies as an emergency. usually surgeries to take out pyometra would be around $2k or more, but ampm only added $500 as an emergency charge on top of the $135 spaying cost (set weekend price) which honestly is not bad at all!! once the procedure was done, we picked up kiki and a very kind employee (man with dark hair) gave us a very clear and detailed run down of after-care as well as medication dosing, how to give the medication, food intake, side effects, and how the surgery went overall! these people were extremely kind and so caring and its just so nice to have that extra reassurance as a pet owner. they also offered vaccine shots that we ended up giving kiki as well! they put her in a typical plastic cone but its honestly a little uncomfortable for any animal to sleep in or eat with, so i bought my own soft cone on amazon for cheap that does the job and its better for them when sleeping & eating (it also makes a happier animal too)! anyway, i would highly recommend this place to anyone!! they will take excellent care of your babies! :)

Here's my update: I received yet another email from the Sam Simon Foundation, and I am absolutely disgusted by the judgmental and disrespectful language directed toward people seeking assistance. How dare you! This is grotesque on every level. Who are you to judge people based on their appearance, personal choices, or financial circumstances? I applied the screen shot. Since when does someone have to look poor, give up every small pleasure, or explain their entire financial history to deserve help? Some people do their own nails at home with $4 press-ons. Some wear $2 eyelashes from Dollar Tree. Some have tattoos from years ago when they were financially comfortable. God forbid someone wants to feel good about themselves while going through financial hardship! People are reaching out because their animals are sick, they're scared, and they're trying desperately to find assistance. Instead of compassion, they're met with judgment, assumptions, and humiliation. I understand that your foundation cannot help everyone. But there is absolutely no excuse for speaking to people this way. You can care about animals without degrading the humans who love them. I will continue sharing my experience because people deserve to know how this foundation communicates with those seeking help. Being financially challenged does not make someone irresponsible, and asking for help does not give anyone permission to strip them of their dignity. However, being overwhelmed does not give anyone the right to be condescending, judgmental, or disrespectful toward people asking for help. The email I received was unbelievably insensitive. Instead of simply explaining their waitlist process professionally, they felt the need to lecture struggling pet owners about giving up manicures, tattoos, lip fillers, Disneyland trips, food delivery, and other personal expenses. They even suggested that unemployed people should get jobs. How incredibly insulting and inappropriate! People reach out to organizations like this because they love their animals and are trying to save their lives. Many are already emotionally exhausted, financially struggling, and terrified of losing a beloved family member. I am trying to get medical help for my dog, not asking to be judged on how I spend my money or how I live my life. Nobody expects a nonprofit to have unlimited funding or immediate availability. What people should be able to expect, however, is basic human decency, compassion, and professionalism. You can say you're overwhelmed. You can explain that there is a waiting list. You can even say you cannot help everyone. But you do not need to humiliate or belittle the very people who are turning to you for help. For an organization whose mission revolves around helping animals, I find the lack of compassion toward their owners deeply disappointing. Compassion should extend to both ends of the leash. I sincerely hope the Sam Simon Foundation reevaluates how it communicates with families experiencing heartbreaking situations. She immediately made me feel comfortable and gave me hope as she helped this poor little pup that I was determined not to surrender. Katt and the veterinary team were wonderful. They went above and beyond to help him, even with the limitations of what they could do at the time. They were honest that he might have more serious underlying medical issues and encouraged me to take him to a veterinarian for further care. Thankfully, I followed their advice. It turned out he needed major surgery to survive. With the help of our veterinarian and a rescue organization, he received the surgery he needed, recovered, and was eventually adopted into a loving forever home where he is now thriving. I can't thank Katt enough for her kindness, compassion, and willingness to help us. She truly made a difference in this little boy's life, and because of her encouragement and care, he got the second chance he deserved. I will always be grateful.

Porkchop is my whole world and I'm so glad I brought her here where everyone understands how important she is to me and treats her like so. The entire process was remarkably smooth from booking the appointment to the actual procedure and pickup. They texted and called often with status updates. I was helped by Amber who was so friendly and gentle with Porkchop. Porkchop is such a Velcro cry baby that Amber kept her in the front with her away from the other babies for Porkchop to be calmer and feel more comfortable. Amber and the nurses let me hold Porkchop on my lap and came to me for things because they knew she was in pain. They knelt or sat down beside me and answered all of my questions with patience. It is in these little details that show their care and have superseded my expectations. Thank you, Dr. Jas, Amber, and team for easing my fears and taking such good care of my precious Porkchop! There is typically plenty of parking during business hours, with a relatively quiet parking lot, so you can easily wait with your pet in the indoor seating or outside. Typically not crowded indoors, so if you have a scared or reactive pet, there is plenty of space in the large lobby / reception area to sit with your animal companion without them being too close to other patients. The pet scale in the reception area is flush with the floor, and because it's in the lobby, you can assist with your animal being weighed before they head into the back area with the staff - this is very helpful for scared and energetic pets who may need help sitting still. The staff are terrifically kind and helpful to both animals and humans. They are patient, they listen to your requests and feedback and help process your stress around a sick or injured animal. The doctors are skilled and thorough, and will help you through the complicated processes to make the best decisions for your animals. Payment and procedures are explained in advance with clear language and paper (and/or digital) estimates outlining cost and potential emergent medical choices. Reasonable prices. Ask about vaccine discount days! Best of all - they don't have an "emergency" fee for same-day or walk-in appointments! Even so, it's smart to call ahead if requesting a same-day appointment so you won't be waiting long with your stressed pet. Honestly, my dog loves the staff here.

From the moment we arrived, Dr. Park and the entire staff treated Rufus with compassion, urgency, and genuine care. They took the time to thoroughly examine him, explain everything clearly, and answer all of my questions without making me feel rushed or pressured. What impressed me most was their honesty and integrity. They focused on what Rufus actually needed rather than recommending unnecessary tests or treatments. After speaking with other hospitals, I truly believe the cost elsewhere could have easily been several times higher.
