This is going to sound crazy but... I got my wife, myself, and 6 of our friends to gather from around the country in order to come to this hat shop. And it delivered!! My wife purchased a Goorin hat years ago when they had a spot in Portland. That hat traveled the world with her until we lost it in South America. As a surprise birthday trip, I took her to Atlanta so she could replace said hat. Long story short, she walked out with 4 hats. Everyone had such a great time shopping the hats and she was so happy to be reunited with not one beautiful fedora but 4. One was on super sale and the others were all half of what I was expecting them to be. The woman working even swapped out the ribbon on one of them for another color, and was great about helping with sizing. Thank you Goorin for being a great store and being in such a great spot for us to enjoy the rest of the day in Ponce City Market! read more

Great customer service! Dad loved the matching hat and t-shirt he received for Father's Day!

I've never been treated with more disrespect than the service I just encountered. The employee working rushed us to leave the store because "she was ready to close down the store ", as my friends and I were purchasing hats, which are really nice hats! Unfortunately this horrible service took away from the experience. My friends and I still purchase a hat although we were made to feel very uncomfortable. The employee refused to tell us her name and even went as far to make up one saying "Jennifer " then laughing. By far the worst costumer service read more

I had a great experience at the Atlanta store. Ryan was so helpful, nice and wise. He not only schooled me on the history of hats but he also gave me great fashion advice. This was my first purchase of fedoras and I didn't know what I was doing. He led me but didn't sell me, he guided me but didn't lock me in. He gave me choices and helped make a wise purchasing and style decision. This was an amazing experience. read more

I have purchased 3 more hats this year. NONE of them came from Goorin. None. I am only purchasing hats from stores that back up their products. Look at the pics. Not good Goorin. read more

The staff here were so nice. Greeted me, asked if I needed any assistance. Answered the questions I asked about the different styles of hats offered. The store has so many hats, different colors, fabrics, and styles, it will be easy to find hats for yourself or someone else. I like the interior design of the store. It's located at Ponce City Market where there is paid lot parking, garage parking and street meters surrounding the development. read more

I love a good hat selection... but more than that, I love good service. Ryan at the Ponce Market location made my hat buying experience at Goorin Bros. top notch! I was in a rush, but knew what I wanted and he made it happen. Stretched the hat overnight to the perfect fit. I'm so happy with my purchase. read more

I had a great experience looking for a hat this weekend at Goorin Bros. Stanzel took the time to explain to me every detail that I needed to know in order to select the right hat for me, and then made all the adjustments necessary to ensure that the hat I chose fit perfectly. He even threw in a few feathers on it for good measure, and I was good to go. I purchased one of their most popular models, the "Dean the Butcher", and already I have been receiving compliments from complete strangers on the hat! I will definitely be returning to Goorin when it is time for my next hat. read more

Great location and large variety of selections. Spoil yourself it's worth the style investment. Well structured high quality designs. I bought my first one for my birthday and can't wait to get another one read more

Oh my goodness... my husband and I are both huge fans of Goorin Bros, but we've never lived in a town with one. We've traveled to the Austin, San Francisco, and New Orleans locations but I have to do a shout out to Danny the store keeper at the Ponce City (Atlanta) location. Danny, you are amazing! Danny found two older hats I've been searching for that don't show up on their online store but which they had a couple sitting in their warehouse, and was able to ship them to me! Seriously, if you love quality hats that live a lifetime get a Goorin Hat. PS. I've tried their felt, straw, and cloth hats. All are really good quality, but the felt is by far my favorite. Looks good even after 5 years of constant wear. read more

The finest hats, thoughtful craftsmanship, and the most excellent staff. Not only does GB specialize in outfitting you with quality product, their employees go above and beyond to ensure your experience exceeds all expectations. I took one of my hats in today for repair. It was stitched up on the spot, while I was personally escorted through the store to browse for new additions. Earned my business a million times over. read more

This store is a real standout if you like hats! They have tons of hearts and great people that can tell you which one is right for you! The best part of this store is a guy named Danny. He is incredible! He's a real pro, and has the best eye for what hats will fit your style and your face! When I lost a hat, Danny was kind enough to work out a great deal for me to replace the hat. He has gone above and beyond many times and I can't say enough good things about him. Definitely ask for Danny. The store is a great addition to the Ponce city market!! read more

I walked into Goorin Bros. and I swear I could hear angels singing, birds chirping, while beams of light cascaded the entrance of the perfectly lit store. I HAVE FINALLY FOUND A STORE SELLING HATS FOR BIG-HEADED MEN!!! The struggle is completely real! A lifetime of baseball hats and beanies is what I had grown accustomed to. I couldn't help but the exclaim to my knowledgeable salesperson "I'm finally an adult". Up until this point, a fedora was completely out of my grasp of rational belief. Yes grown men can wear New Era hats, but what happens when I'd like to put on a lid while in a suit? The sizing and selection of the hats available to this hammer head brother was phenomenal. I truly believe this was my Nirvana! I bought two hats from my exquisitely adept salesperson and I felt validated immediately. So as I was leaving Goorin's, it finally set into my mind that I was finally an adult; SWEET!!! THANK YOU GOORIN BROS. read more

I was in recently looking for a gift for my uncle's birthday and was very pleased with the service and selection! I felt bad for being there right before close, but the girl working was super sweet and helpful despite some other rude customers who seemed to be hassling her and getting very loud/calling her names. Working in customer service myself I know how hard it can be to keep a good attitude when other customers are treating you poorly, so I really appreciated her patience with me. I'll definitely be back! read more

It was my first time coming to the store, I drove an hour in the rain to get there. I liked the hats, a little pricey but an OK range of options. What I did not like was the guy behind the register insulted me about three times. I like to wear my hat low and he informed me I was "wearing it wrong" and because of that, I looked like I had a conehead. Really???? He really acted like he was doing me a favor by showing me hats instead of being grateful that I was patronizing this establishment. Then as I was paying for 3 hats another employee comes out of the back room and butts into my conversation with the first guy who insulted me and suggested it's OK to not vote and when I responded "k", in an attempt to ignore him and Move On, he passively aggressively responds "just because you and I don't agree doesn't mean I'm wrong". What the heck?!?!? It was weird and awkward and frankly unprofessional. They did give me one "free" hat box after I spent over $400 so I guess that was something. But then he pointed it out and asked me to thank him for "hooking me up". I will NOT be going back. read more

I purchased a couple of hats from these guys and it wont be the last 2. I am an old school Chicago boy living in Ga and have been looking for a nice hat (Brim as we used to say) and this is the place. Ed was knowledgeable, patient and passionate about his craft. He took the time to work with me on the right fit and look and also dropped some knowledge on me....They have a customer for life and I will surely get my network down to Goorin Bros. @ Ponce City Market. Perfect addition to this new exciting shopping destination. Fantastic selection of hats and accessories. We were assisted by Kevin who was knowledge, informative and aside from selling us three hats in one shot, created excitement for the new fall collection which is being launched soon. My favorite shop in New Orleans finally made its way to Atlanta. Amazing decor transforms you back to the 1920s. Everyone is super helpful and the energy the moment you walk in just makes you feel good. I have about a dozen hats from here. Danny, one of the managers, is the friendliest person ever. Flo,the cool, laid back tattooed guy that instantly makes you feel at ease, is always eager to help make sure you have the right size. Theres always a fun pop up with cocktails or live music. This store will change any "I'm not a hat person" to "I need a hat for every outfit". Definitely one of the highlights in PCM read more

Goorin Bros. is by far the very best hat shop/company in the country... how lucky is atlanta to have one open at PCM!! I am putting 5 stars down here for Flo~ who is the best kind of professional... He is an expert at sizing someone up and finding "the hat" for them (and more options if you aren't convinced). the man has an eye. I love when you can walk into a store and have a great experience with someone who really knows their product... but isn't pushy or out to sell you. #bravo read more

I love goorin bros. Their staff at PCM is amazing and very knowledgeable. It is my favorite place to buy hats. I always before just went for the trucker snapback hat but goorin bros have opened me up to many cool styles to take my style up a notch. read more

I wanted to send to whomever is receiving this email an experience I had in your Goorin Bros PCM store last evening. IT WAS AMAZING!!! I am in charge of multiple Harley-Davidson Dealerships in the local Atlanta area and outside the perimeter; our brand is everything to me. I live in the O4W neighborhood and was super excited to see Goorin Bros. was one of the retail stores making it in the PCM. I stop and stare early each morning after my run at all the beautiful hats in the store. I have walked in several times but am very picky regarding head wear and had not yet made a purchase until last night. The times I had been in before I was always welcomed immediately and really impressed with the capability, knowledge and passion of the staff (DJ Flo). Last night i was having a quick meeting with my business partner and decided to show him the Goorin Bros. store and immediately met Joni (sp?). Joni is a game changer in almost any buying experience I have been apart of...She left me wanting more. By that I mean, She took me on a journey and it was exceptional. She is friendly, super Badass and her knowledge was on point. I always stress to my staff "The experience is Key". Well Joni has that gift to listen, understand and give you an incredible experience. Just wanted to make sure this got into the right hands and to show my sincere thanks. read more

Already loved the hats--I'd found one locally, then shopped Goorin's online and in Austin's Congress Ave store. So very happy when I read that Goorin Bros. would be opening at PCM. On our first PCM visit, family members tried on and posed, and generally had fun. SIL found a perfect-for-him hat on sale, so how could he resist? I tried on until I couldn't say no, either--to a beautiful red fedora to add to my collection. We even bought feathers to set off our selections. Next day I noticed the Cyber-Monday sale and wrote to the listed email address to ask if my purchase qualified for a markdown. Not only did I get positive response, but they had the local Shopkeeper, Daniel, call me to arrange the markdown! This was premium customer service to go with the finest hats anywhere. Thanks, Goorin Bros; I will be a customer for as long as you offer these beautiful hats! read more

Huge thanks to Flo for helping me pick out a gift for a coworker and friend today!! He asked me questions about his personality, then selected and modeled the perfect selection! Didn't try to upsell me and (shockingly) the first hat he showed me was on sale... I will definitely be back... He made the experience fun! read more

I shopped with my daughter on her 28th birthday just wanting to browse but actually purchased 2 hats! We had such an enjoyable time with the help of salesman Flo. Experience here was unpleasant.... was at first looked over and assumed I was a touchy feely consumer! Was rudely told what a hat does and doesn't do or how it didnt bend when My money was going to make it bend how ever I wanted it to bend but your hat specialist suggest to people how incorrect they try and style their own hat they paid for which is ludacris! This guy is skinny about 6 ft wears glasses maybe for style. Danny may be his name. And by the acute reviews here you can definitely see the certain customer he tends to be totally professional with! Please evaluate this person on the importance of never disrespecting customers and also let him know the customer is ALWAYS right because that is who spends the money to keep the business running and families fed for those workers also explain the importance of secret shoppers/buyers/investors.... that he NOT potentially ran off but indefinitely ruined for his unprofessional and inadequate behavior! I have recorded his behavior the second visit for my companies verification! Thanks but no thanks! Although your reply may be professional the back end of what the root of the problem will go unsolved I %1000 know this is nothing more than a verbal warning to good Danny boy. Or whatever his name is you guys will continue to lose money and keep the same slow consistent pace business that your satisfied with by your same kind of customer... read more
