What once was a thriving place is now a rundown park, with a-lot of smoke and mirrors. The septic system backs up and you can't drain your RV, often raw sewage runs across the main road entrance into the park. They don't maintain the roads or the lawns. New tenants now have to mow their own lots. The fence around their "maintenance area" has been down for about 2 years. The complaints/requests fall on deaf ears... the managers of the park are rude and don't care about the park.... They raised prices, but not the quality of living. very very sad...

The Park wall that separates the park from the equipment yard is dilapidated and falling apart no attempt has been made to repair it. Entrance into the park has a big hole that cannot be missed and will rock you to the core. Roads need to be repaired and they refuse to. The park grounds are not manicured, dead leaves everywhere and lots of areas in the park needs to be mowed and not done. Management has no clue on how to manage an RV park. Rental prices had been increased but no signs of improvement to the park. Also 429 cannot be classified as a resort. Find somewhere else to go. Same group manages Sunset RV Park.

You will always find Jim bouncing around on a golf cart helping boaters providing rides both to and from there Parked trailers. Grandson Tyson is very polite and helpful. If something breaks down while there, the staff is ready to jump in. My trailer bunk came off while launching and it was repaired while I waited.

Everyone he talked to was so sweet and genuinely excited for him. The boat and the lake were so lovely and we got the most stunning photos with the sunset. We really appreciate everything Lone Star Marina did to make sure everything went smoothly and their customer service was amazing. The boat looked clean and so nice in every photo and we couldn't be happier with our experience with them and with their boat! I have been doing this for several years so we have been on quite a few guided fishing trips. This was THE BEST guided fishing trip we have been on so far!! Larry is a people person and he does everything he can to make sure you have an excellent time. A front had blown through the day before so the weather had the fishing messed up. Larry worked hard and took us to many different spots in an effort to make sure we caught the most fish possible. He is definitely the kind of guide who will work hard for his money when the situation calls for it. Larry provides all of the gear and bait you need. His boat is outfitted with side scan sonar and a nice stereo so you can enjoy some good country music while you fish. You only need to show up with some drinks and snacks plus any any other various stuff you might require like sunscreen or bug repellent. Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather. *Note: The location on the map that Yelp is giving is inaccurate. He is based out of Duck Cove Marina on Lake Tawakoni.
