Good people who help people - at least that was our experience with George! We were desperate because the rental car we had gotten during our vacation in Palm Springs had just scraped up against a high curb and damaged the tire/rim. We were just a few hours from returning it to the airport and needed some advice on how to address it. Out of the goodness of his heart, George spoke to us on the phone, heard the desperation in our voices, and told us to come on by. He took a look at it and made some recommendations that really helped us out. He knew on the phone that this probably wasn't a paid service for Goodyear, but he was amazing and went through the trouble to help us anyway. I just want people to know that these are pretty great people to do that on a busy weekend. I had a low tire light come on so I plugged Goodyear into my GPS. I got there and told them what happened and he said no problem. So he put air in all 4 tires and I thanked him and I was back on my way. Excellent service. read more

What started as a stressful flat tire situation became a surprisingly smooth experience at Goodyear. After Mercedes Benz told me they'd need my car overnight, I called Goodyear, which was just 7 minutes away. Though I thought I just needed air and a plug, it turned out a nail blade had badly damaged my tire - they even have a bucket at the register showing all the weird things they've pulled from tires over the years. The best part? James and Eric, the fantastic service technicians, had my exact tire in stock and replaced it in just 25 minutes. Good Year in Palm Desert, CA, is trash. The workers are completley useless and will charge you extra for nothing. The management is stupid and my car is never fixed with this dirty swindlers. They just looked at the hood at charged me extra for no reason. The quality they provide are a joke and the workers never work. Goodyear is full of idiots. read more

The WORST service ever! This business recently changed ownership. Very incompetent, disorganized and lousy customer service. I was the first customer of the day at 7:30 with 2 simple orders. They said it will be done by mid morning. I called at noon to get an update and they reported they hadn't started. I called them again at 3:00 only to be told that they lost our car key! By 4:00 I picked up my car with it not being serviced at all without any apologies given or explanation!! They have lost me as a customer. What a lost for them.....I own 3 cars!!!! read more

I can't say enough good things about these guys. They have come to our rescue twice now. This time we got to meet the amazing guys in the back...so helpful with advise and tips. Real "service" is becoming a lost art these days, and as a woman in a car environment it can be an intimidating environment, but we had a 5 star experience here. Highly recommend. read more

To start this off, like someone has already said in the reviews, woman are not treated right, which I will agree with! They will take advantage of you, mention any "possible" issues with your car that isn't their concern and not what you asked for. They are not professionals, just people wanting more money. Whether its them saying "Something is wrong with your 'axles, ball joint, lower/upper control arm, springs' or 'water is in your oil, 'water is in that' 'you're low on this" its not their concern, a tire shop will only and should only be concerned for tires and maybe brakes, other stuff is not part of the tire service. Professionals can notice if something is wrong with a certain part, but should only mention it to you and say, "you might want to get that looked at." Pathetic place really. They also say they fix something, but then the thing you've been worried about is still there. Be aware of the workers and I wouldn't recommend going, ignore good reviews, those people were just blind. Nothing but facts said here by a guy who's only passion is cars, and has done maintenance on his own cars, and after the stuff I hear, sounds like a lot of bs coming from money hungry people! read more

One of my tires had a not-so-slow leak. Ugh. My regular mechanic couldn't find the leak, so I called Goodyear, based on nothing but their proximity and the Goodyear name. I'm glad I did. I walked in thinking I was going to have to buy two new tires, but George (very professional and very friendly) suggested that they first see if it's a repairable leak. Guess what? It was! $250 turned into $25 like magic. A week has gone by and the repair is holding. Thanks George! This is my new favorite tire place! read more

I recommend this location. I got a flat tire and to my luck it was next to this shop. I have a special kind of tire that requires ordering. I pulled over to this shop and asked for help as I could not find how to put air on my tire. The gentleman there helped me and told me that I needed a new tire. They were very nice and helpful. I was able to leave my car there until I decided what to do. And they took care of it. As a woman a highly recommend them. read more

Quoted me $2100 in work for a problem that I ended up fixing myself for $160 in parts and an hour of labor (replaced cam positioning sensors). A real mechanic would have charged MAYBE $400 for the work I did. This place also charged me $120 for an engine code reading, claiming they took the engine apart and 'inspected' it even though they did no such thing. I know because I watched. These people are out to take you for everything they can, and if money is even remotely a concern for you they could literally ruin your life by charging you a huge sum for stuff you don't need. I lost my wheel lock and got a flat tire. I called Robert at Goodyear to get options. I had my vehicle towed over and Robert and his team were accommodating and got my flat tire repaired quickly. The prices are reasonable and the quality of service is excellent. I highly recommend! read more

THE BEST SERVICE!!! I was in town for the weekend and needed to get my car fixed asap! CHRIS actually drove over an hour away to go get a part I needed AND had my car fixed by noon the next day so I wouldn't have to pay for another day of a car rental. If you're looking for a mechanic who you can trust, gain knowledge, and get the best price...look no further. My car had a terrible chirping noise that was an AC problem. I decided on Pep boys because I was able to walk home after dipping it of...they quoted me $1600 to fix the issue. I decided to try Goodyear when I saw the reviews...the BEST move I made. They saved me $600 and was able to provide a shuttle. Mike who is one of the managers, kept me in the loop, explained everything so I could understand it and Ernesto was my mechanic. Hello my name is Cheryl . I am a mother who is struggling . I noticed I had a very unsafe tire showing tread. I had to borrow Money to even purchase a tire. I went back to Goodyear in palm desert . As they are a company I trust and feel confident of the work they perform. Upon them trying to remove the bad tire . We found out my lug nut would not remove. It was going to need more work .in which I could not afford . I was in tears . Literally not knowing what to do. Or where to turn. The manager approached me. His name was doug .
