Too expensive and they provided a shorter warranty on a rebuilt starter. After the fact, I found lifetime warranty starters for less.

Today I had an appointment to get 4 tires and a 3 year alignment at the Goodyear store in North Canton. I made the appointment Saturday and was told 1-1.5 hours for the service. When I arrived today I was told 4-5 hours because I wasn't going to wait and the prioritize customers who wait. That's the dumbest thing I've heard of. Why have appointments if I get moved to the back of the line just because I'm not sitting in your waiting area? I cancelled the appointment and will buy the tires at Sam's Club and get the alignment elsewhere. I guess Goodyear didn't want my $1000 purchase. read more

This shop has done me dirty 10 times so far now, I had a 5 star review for this place but since then I have to keep coming back for them to fix my alignment. All of the negative reviews are true! I read so many mixed reviews about this location so I wasn't sure what to believe. Well I went in today for a single tire replacement. I purchased my tires 4months ago but found that one was recently ruined by a nail that couldn't be repaired. I went in for my 1:00appointment for them to tell me 40 minutes later I would need 4 new tires because my car was all wheel drive and the new tire would throw off the system. The tires were just purchased 4 months prior! I would understand if the tires were years old but they were brand new, this shouldn't be a problem. The girl at the counter was rooouuuggh around the edges. I knew almost immediately how my interaction was going to be with the company. Terribly disappointing. Told them I had a trip from Ohio to Montana on into Nevada ahead of me. Recently acquired 2011 Ford Ranger upon my father's passing. Told them I was concerned about trucks status. Asked them to double ck the tires to include spare. Asked when paying for oil change if they did...dude said they forgot to ck spare. So he ran out looked under truck and said yes it's there. Also said tires were fine. Wtf? Next day, low air pressure light. Brought it in. Every tire was set at 20 psi. Kid also tells me one tire is dry rotted. Says 30 on the door. wtf again‍. Got an appt to look at spare tomorrow. Will buy tires (if needed) elsewhere after I address the issue mentioned above, in person. Won't dare take their word for anything. read more

Called for an appointment, needed to stop by at 6 and the store has posted hours open until 8. The kind idiot on the phone explained that they do not make appointments after 5. Then why do you stay open until 8. All I needed was installation of ONE TIRE! Bad business practices. read more

Do not go here! I went here to get a new tire. When I picked up my car it was blinking park and wouldn't turn off. They told me I have to pay them for them to figure out how they messed up my car.. now I have to go pay a dealership to fix whatever they did after spending $800 on tires read more

They provide my maintenance. There is a counter and it is an easy place to sit and work while the take care of the car. They didn't have air filters though and I haven't had time to go have those done. read more

I'm not a car person. They were pretty nice and said they felt sorry I had to pay so much (got new tires and break pads and rotors). They called and told me I needed an alignment- I skipped on it - but my husband and dad both said that a good car place normally does a free alignment when you're buying new tires, and especially since I was paying like $1300 for all that stuff. read more

I brought my van there because my regular mechanic wasn't available for awhile. I was groaning inwardly at how expensive I anticipated it being. It wasn't. First, let me say the customer service was outstanding. The shop was clearly very busy when I called to make the appointment, when I brought in my car, and when I picked it up. I did have to wait when I dropped it off and when I picked it up, but when it was my turn, I truly felt like I was their top priority. They answered my questions and they did not rush me through. They were pleasant and very professional. Regarding the work... I have done my homework before hand. I researched other people that have had the same problem. I know what it would cost if I took it to the dealer to have it fixed. Well it wasn't cheap, it was at least $200 below what the dealer would've charged at this Goodyear service center. Just as importantly, they had it done in less than three hours. A few years ago I had taken my vehicle to the same location and I was very displeased with the service. I know that they have had a huge turnover and staff and a complete turnover of management since that time. I was very pleased with my experience this time. I am definitely planning to take my car there the next time it needs service. read more

PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE REVIEW. YOU WONT BELIEVE HOW HORRIBLE THIS SHOP REALLY IS!!! Quick quiz. How many times taking your vehicle to Goodyear on Frank is too many? Answer: 1 time. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!! I call these guys "The Fools on Frank" and that's being very nice. These clowns don't even deserve 1 star! One of the worst experiences I've ever had with an auto repair shop! Just to mention a few of the atrocities these fools have done. Charged for services not completed. Damage to the paint job on a pristine vehicle. Damage to components due to the wrong fluid being installed which wasn't even supposed to be changed to begin with. (They were instructed to just check the fluid level.) We've just been informed by the shop that's repairing the damage caused by Goodyear on Frank. The rear differential is completely destroyed and should not even be rebuilt! I have a quote to repair just this one problem for $7000. They no longer make this differential so we have to buy all of the parts separately and assemble them. From lifting the vehicle incorrectly the rear springs need to be replaced. Chevrolet quoted $1600 for a set of springs. The Fools on Frank also managed to crack the intake which cost $700 to replace. I could go on for ever with things this shop has done but I think I've made my point. If you don't want your vehicle SEVERELY messed up STAY AWAY from this shop. If you however do decide to bring your vehicle here contact me for a referral to a great psychologist. You obviously need one. read more

Mixed review from a few experiences. Mostly positive but one recent slip up. I have had 2 vehicles here recently. I have a Hyundai Elantra. It has low profile asymmetric tires. Potholes are murder on these tires. This Goodyear has been able to get wheels and tires repaired pretty easily. They also helped me when I needed tires for my Hyundai Sonata. They got me in very quickly. However recently I needed my oil changed. Nice that they were able to schedule me fort this and a tire rotation on a Sunday. On my way home I thought my steering wheel felt grimy. I discovered oily, grimy smudges and smears on the door handle and opener. Obviously whoever moved my car had oil and dirt on their hands. I've always had a good experience at Goodyear but if they are not going to take the time to cover the basics like don't touch a customer's car unless you wash your hands it makes you wonder if they are this careless overall. read more

5 stars all the way. I wish people would understand things happen and you might have to wait a few extra minutes. They don't want you to leave before your care is actually fixed. Also do your research before you go in and then freak out that a oil change might cost more then you expected. I went in for a leak in a tire. They took care of my car and I have 0 complaints. So I've had a love hate relationship with Goodyear. It started years ago when they refused to honor my tire warranty simply because I didn't get the tire rotations done there. This pissed me off and so I've taken all my cars since to Firestone. Well recently my girlfriend had a flat tire and I took it to Goodyear and they patched it in two separate spots for FREE!! So for now we'll keep it at a three star but I plan to use them again in the near near future and will update the review. read more

My tire had a screw in it and needed patching done asap. I literally came in right before they closed and they ended up fixing it within a couple minutes. Josh was very nice and accommodating! I will definitely come back for any other auto/tire issues!!! Highly recommend them!!! read more

So probably the worst customer service for a tire place! I did notice they had a Best of The Best award.....pretty sure that won't happen again! The service guy was rude to us (two woman). Spoke to us like we didn't know what we were talking about! Right away said he couldn't do anything until the next day, quoted a price on what he thought we needed without even letting us tell him what we needed. Hey idiot we could of purchased new tires for our Cadillac that was park outside, but apparently you thought we were broke! BIG MISTAKE! My guess is you won't get that Best of The Best next year! After many years of recommending these guys and bringing them business I now have to go the other way and say to not bring your car here. I always felt like the former crew really ran a tight ship and that you could see it in the little things they did with customer service and things not being missed. However over the last year I've had nothing but issues of poor customer service, missing stickers, fluids not being replaced, and shoddy work. I had a recent issue with the engine overheating and I took it elsewhere. I had the new mechanic take me underneath and show me how very little these guys had done around an oil issue that I had brought to them twice. The biggest sin was him showing me how they only attached two of the seven fasteners and how they just completely forgot to attach inspection plate. Also while working on my brakes they must've just ripped out my brake sensors. Not impressed anymore. I've spoken with the manager,district manager and I am a reasonable person who loved this place until last year but I just can't recommend it anymore. read more

Bought tires and made an appointment online. Showed up on time for appointment, They didn't have the appointment or the tires I ordered. Finally found the order, still didn't have the tires. Suggested I go to Stow for tires. If I wanted to go to Stow, I wouldn't have made the appointment in Canton. No desire to take responsibility for the problem or make it right. I left and canceled the order. What a joke at Frank Road Goodyear store. Don't waste your time with over priced tires and worthless customer service. Learn from my mistake. Take your vehicle anywhere else. It will save you time, money, and frustration. Apparently they forgot to teach their employees about how much torque to use when putting on lug nuts. I was fuming when I had to purchase new rotors due to their error. The mechanic that had to take off said lug nuts was just as angry as I am. You screwed me over this time. Never again. read more

I came in to purchase one new tire because I hit a pothole. My rim was bent so I had to buy a new rim. The sales associate told me my tire tread was low so I should consider replacing them all. I chose to do just that. The moron then told me my "transmission fluid was dirty" and asked if I wanted to do anything about it. I ignorantly said yes thinking it won't be much more expensive, considering the local oil change place offers that for like $70. Then he told me a 3 year unlimited alignment package was $70. It wasn't. It was $70 extra then your typical alignment. So with the tires x4, rim, alignment, transmission flush, and road side hazard I figured it would be roughly $800 (I had a Goodyear retiree discount). Well I walked into $1200+ bill. They charged me $110 for the transmission flush, $70 was labor and then added a coolant flush. I didn't ask for a coolant flush, I don't know if it is a necessary part of the trans flush, that cost another $101 ($80+ was for labor). So my four tires cost me $500 while the other stuff that did was $700 ($236 being for a rim I had to have). The rim was filthy too which makes me think it was from a pull apart for far less than what they charged me. So, I immediately contacted corporate which is going to look into the situation for me and I'll be reporting this criminal place to the BBB. Stay away from this place. They are your typical criminal mechanic place that will rip you off because they know you don't know anything about cars. Have fun with the BBB complaint Goodyear. Absolute morons. read more

Where do I begin. Worst experience and First goodyear experience. I bought all new tires in August 2017 spending close to $900. I figured this would be a good investment and would not need brand new tires for a few years. Well its now mid December a few MONTHS later and I need one repaired and one replaced. Not just one but two issues. When they reported back to me they said there was a pin hole on the the side .. side of the tire, Nothing that I ran over.. and the other tire had a leak around the rim once again not my fault at all. When i expected them to say they had it repaired and ready when they called me at 7 pm (dropped the car off at 10 am) they said id need to buy another brand new tire. Haha what a joke. When i laughed the manager was very unprofessional asked what i was laughing at? said it was my fault i probably "hit into something" causing a pin hole on the side of my tire but didn't have an explanation for the other leak near the rim other than saying it happens. After saying that i would replace and buy another brand new tire it took them another hour and a half to call me. so at 8:30 pm I'm buying another brand new tire and purchasing the warranty ( which i thought i had purchased in the first place) so that their shit tires can be replaced every 4 months because thats all they seem to last. WILL be contacting customer service. Will not be purchasing Goodyears in the future. read more
