I go on Senior Day, for 20% off, generally looking for books or novels. I limit my selection to books that are the color of the day as well so I'm selecting books that are $3 or under. I almost always have a few books when I leave. I avoid clothing as most are overpriced. JC Penney in Waterville or Renys in Pittsfield beat Walmart & GW for quality. read more

I have been to this store a few times when I am town, but I guess I will pass it by for a while. Not that it is terrible or anything, but I mostly look for clothes, and man's clothes are thin on the ground compared to other Goodwill stores, especially when it comes to casual clothing. My daughter with disabilities works at Goodwill and lives in a Goodwill group home, so I don't begrudge the slightly higher prices they charge. It is the lack of selection that will send me to other branches. read more

Second time in this Goodwill and my initial thoughts are the same. The pricing is outrageous. $10 for a used Walmart brand shirt that you can buy new...at WALMART for $8.88!!! Whole sections of new imported cheaply ( I mean cheaply) made products at ugly prices. $15 for a plush BAB bear. $9 for a used PS3 game. I could go on. I get it, Goodwill hates the fact that resellers were buying products there and making a profit online. They shouldn't be punishing the people who truly need decent pre-owned clothing at an affordable price. Goodwill is literally getting their inventory for FREE! Greatest business model ever, and yet they are screwing it up. Very sad. read more

One cannot complain about selection because they put out what they get, Just keep the prices down. Remember these are donations. I just went shopping with my friends and we only went to the thrift stores. They price their clothing with still store tags on them way lower than what you are selling yours for. Lower your prices and you will get rid of all that old merchandise that you have and you will by far have more customers bring good things in for all to buy. Think about it. If you don't. you have lost a customer who went in there frequently to buy. You all try very hard to keep the store neat and you all are friendly. I appreciate all that you do for the community. Books are now ridiculously priced. proof is that the inventory has started piling up. The library is free I wish to remind all. Goodwill has an overhead we all can agree but still over pricing and being greedy with their items that were donated is directly hurting their employees. Stop the insanity. read more

I usually hit up Goodwill after stopping by the Dollar Tree a few stores down. Makes for a thrifty day of shopping! By far out of all the Goodwills I've shopped, this has been the smallest. The store is clean and set up​ well but with limited stock. They have a small selection of men's​ clothing. Hit or miss with furniture. The employees are friendly and welcoming. I would definitely​ recommend​ driving a little longer and visiting the Augusta location. read more
