When I asked how they arrived at the offer, the response was vague and dismissive, as if I should simply accept it without question. There was no discussion of weight, purity, fees, or market conditions, just a lowball number and pressure to take it or leave it. I understand shops need to make a profit, but paying significantly under spot without honesty or professionalism feels predatory, especially toward customers who may not be experts. Trust is critical in a coin shop, and this experience seriously lacked it.
