I've shopped this store for 18 years. Yesterday I was in with my daughter and granddaughter. There was a worker there that I'd seen before. She was older and wore here gray hair in a knot on top of her head. She had brought out a cart of goods to be shelved. I was clearly looking at it and twice she aggressively yanked it away from me. I thought it was rude, but didn't say anything. Later, she was cleaning out dressing rooms and was audibly cussing. She opened a door and said? " Son of a bitch" quite loudly. My daughter and granddaughter were standing right there. My daughter looked at her and said, "Excuse me? You are cussing loudly and my daughter is right here!" The conversation escalated after that. The "knot top" worker would not stop arguing and told my daughter several times to "get a life"! My daughter walked to the front counter and asked for a manager. Then this "manager" (who was not the head store manager) told her to "calm down" and sided with "top knot"! I couldn't believe what I heard! I've encountered this woman several times in that store and have heard her using profanity many times. I've watched her throwing items on the shelf. This has NO place in a retail or public setting. And for a manager to support said worker and argue with a customer is just plain wrong. I've donated and purchased thousands of dollars worth of merchandise over the years at this store. How dare they treat people like this? How dare they have an employee who cusses loud enough for customers and children to hear them? Any normal person would know how unacceptable this is!! read more

We donated quite a few items this past weekend. We got there right when the donation center opened and they were so rude. We even said we would unload and the first guy wouldn't even open the door. He was hollering through the glass at us. He was grumpy and said he couldn't help. We told him we didn't need the help and we would unload. He kept telling us to put it into the donation container and we kept telling him it would not fit. He finally just turned and walked away. About seven minutes after the donation hours two guys came out with big bins on wheels and started throwing stuff inside it. Neither of them said a word to us and we're very unfriendly. read more

May 8, 2026 After shopping for quite a while I went up to pay. Pair of shoes, DVD series, coffee mug, nail polish, a book. It took a while to get rang up. Totally fine. Went through the entire payment - hit yes for the $19.23. The receipt didnt print & computer was 'stuck'. Cashier called the manager. The manager proceeded to tell me I would need to let him rerun my card. I checked my acct and said I'm sorry but I'm not paying twice. He GUARANTEED it was not charged. Well long story short - the manager refused to let me have the Goods I purchased. Unless he recharged my card. He yelled at me multiple times and puffed himself all around to embarrass me for refusing to be charged twice. I'm not rolling in money. Quite the opposite. I sent a message to two locations for Corporate Goodwill Downtown. Someone called while I was at work next day. I returned the call soon as possible. Monday, May 11, my bank has approved the charge and I have no idea if the goods I purchased are even still at the store. No one has called from the store and the man from corporate never called back. Thank you for stealing from me, Goodwill. I'm not trinket shopping. I'm struggling to make it too. Never have I been treated in such a way and then the goods I paid for taken back by the manager. Items are way overpriced . This is a goodwill not a retail store . Service is ok . Workers , most of them are nice .

Dropped off quite a large donation earlier today and the 'gentleman' that helped me not only took things out of my car that weren't to be donated, he only wanted to make sure that I knew that I came in the drive thru the wrong way. Even tho no signage was present and the car in front of us had done the same thing. Not to mention that every other drive thru in America is set up the exact same way as we drove in. read more

the prices are just as high as TJ Maxx or Marshall's. these are free donations. and the really hateful cashier older lady with blonde hair, glasses, treats the customers and her co workers like crap. One time she scolded the worker next to her who has was on the ASD and I asked if he was ok after she went off on him, and he said he is used to it. if i could rate a zero i sure would. this is so sad and wrong,and i will be going to corporate. i went shopping today with my grandson at beavercreek goodwill. we were excited to get out for a bit . we were looking for a shelf and a blanket. i found the shelf right away. well i took the taped price up to the counter and asked how it works? do i take it or leave it with them till i was finished shopping. they said keep it till i was finished. so we found the blanket and went up to the counter. gave the paper with the tape and price to the man at the counter. paid for our items talked about how to load the shelf. we went around the side of the building to get the shelf . waited for a minute. guy told me to pull up cause there's an issue... i'm like what issue. so we waited for awhile. then comes out the rudest woman. she says to me ... where did i get this paper . well i said in the shelf. which shelf she rudely says . i said a white bookshelf. she says in a nasty tone and looks at me like im lying. i put that tag on that shelf a week ago.and i looked at the cameras and bla bla bla . i said well go check your camera and you'll see i didn't change it . then they made me sit in the heat for about 20 minutes while they figure out how wrong they are. i got no im sorry nothing. .the guy didn't even close the back of the svu ... what is wrong with their manager???!?!?!.shes just a nasty person. she judged me on how i looked . and i would have paid more for the broke down shelf . my husband said i hope you did pay more than 5 dollars for this piece of #$#$ ... i said yes and i would have paid more but they accused me of changing the price by 3 dollars ... wow woman do better. you've lost a customer and hopefully more. we shop their because it's cheaper.dont be assuming things you know what that makes you right manager lady read more

This is one of the nicest Goodwill stores in the area. The items are well sorted and displays are well arranged: spring shoes displayed with spring dresses and tops today. I hadn't been in this store since before Covid until today, and it remains as nice as ever. Covid-wise: There's a big thing of sanitizer when you walk in, employees are wearing masks, there are social distancing tape marks at the check out, and the back to back check outs are divided by a plastic curtain. Several customers weren't wearing masks properly but nobody seemed to care. I witnessed some questionable customer service today. I know employees are sometimes there learning job skills, so I try to keep that in mind. read more

Stopped into this location last night! I've been digging around the local Goodwills recently to find goodies for my new place. I was pleasantly surprised with how clean and organized the place was. For my thrifters, you know sometimes places can be a madhouse. They had a great selection of items as well and when I arrived it was definitely a last minute rush of people for the day, but the staff handled it well. I walked out with a old sports sweatshirt from the men's section (lots of sport attire here!) and a piece of wall decor. For both I paid under $6. My only complaint were some of the prices. I was happy with what I purchased but saw quite a few items I could have gotten cheaper elsewhere. Overall a good experience and I'd go back! read more

HUGE location. It would seem like this is the Goodwill headquarters. haha. It's not, but I'm just saying it's pretty big. What I like about this location though is not how big it is. I like that there's a convenient and covered (nice when it's raining or snowing) drop off area. I dropped off a bunch of things here and it took less than five minutes for everything. I'll me donating more stuff here in the future. read more

Usually has good stuff. My wife found several brand name leather products in great condition. In the past, we've found nice furniture items ... for restoration if you're into that kind of thing. It does get picked over quickly. It's a goodwill... clean and well organized. The inventory is hit or miss just like any other location. read more

This particular store is a pretty decent size. This leads to them having more space to separate and display some of the fancier pieces they get in, which is great! But it also means I waste more time here trying to see everything. lol Definitely a good store for clothing! read more

I have shopped here for a long time and the cashiers are so nice and I usually find something I need. However today I was standing by the doors when they brought out A desk but it wasn't priced so one of the girls went in back to ask. A young guy with a long pony tail came out to look at the desk and told me I made him nervous and he couldn't think. Kept rolling his eyes and asked me to go somewhere else for awhile and come back later. How rude!! I told him I was interested in the desk even though the top had a few issues and was afraid someone else would come along and get it. He wrote a high price down, slapped the paper on the desk. What a way to run a business. My weekly visits might get less and less. I told the cashier about it on my way out and she apologized for his rudeness read more

Drive right past all those messy, overcrowded stores and the mall, and head right over to this Goodwill!! Something for everyone, and lots of hidden treasures you'll never realize you've been looking for all these years!! It pays (obviously) to go to higher income areas for thrifting, and this location in the suburban "heartland" of Beavercreek doesn't disappoint. I love them for their books and knick-knacks more than their clothes, but there's plenty to find all throughout the store. I found gorgeous mismatched china teacups and saucers, great barely used kitchen odds and ends, and nearly lost myself in their well-organized book section. The guy was very rude when we delivered a large load. Unloaded everything ourselves but he was mad because we needed another bin. Told us to call before coming next time. You are getting free stuff that was in good shape and will be making money off of it. Be nice, without donations you wouldn't have a job!!! I will not be donating again. read more

Everything seemed to be $3.97. That's almost free! I found a shopping bag worth of stuff, and then somethings were 50%. (last time I was here was 2 years ago, and I scored with, not one, but 2 Mountain Hardware skirts in great condition for $3 each) Neat, clean, well stocked, and organized. The dressing rooms were clear, the shoes neatly on the shelf. I love hittin' this place for some green minded splurges whenever I'm in town. read more

Good selection of clothes and found lots of great finds for fall. Unfortunately, we had a very unprofessional experience with the staff at this location. My 3 friends and I, in an effort to save space in other fitting rooms for others, shared one fitting room (which is not breaking any posted company policy) The manager of the store, incorrectly wearing her mask, began banging on our door and telling us we needed to leave. As paying customers, this was a very embarrassing display from the management. read more

This is a pretty nice Goodwill store; well organized with lots to look through, This week, they had wedding dresses on sale for $100. Good place to save some bucks on your dream wedding. I enjoy finding a book or two here for 99 cents each. read more

I've always had GREAT luck here- I can find items from jcrew, banana republic, h&m, and so much more for just the right prices... I love shopping here bc I end up getting thousands of dollars worth of items for just a fraction of that ;) staff is always friendly and the store is very clean and organized compared to others- they even have a very good shoe selection as well... read more

A little pricier than other thrift stores in the area, but I did find it to be a great place to find maternity clothes for a good price. If you don't mind digging, you can usually find unique treasures and some nice name brand clothes. read more

I enjoy this store, it has a good selection of ticky tacky things, books and clothes, but I would not recommend letting the workers dolly furniture out for you. both times I have bought a piece of furniture a worker has destroyed it before I could even get it in the truck. the workers obviously don't care about the things they're moving. I love this Goodwill. I have found so many awesome clothes and books for a fraction of the price. I've seen Prada purses (not sure if it was real or not) for $10. Even for a fake that's cheap! I've found SOOO much good stuff here, it's rediculous. It's big, it's clean, it's got consisently good stuff, so what's not to like? The staff, well they're okay. stopped in just to look around as I was in the area. the prices are very competitive it's full and stocked well with clothes and you can still get around. While there I figured why not see if they have some scrubs...so I stopped and asked a store associate to find something...she was so super sweet. Oh and did I mention THEY HAD THEM! Then, went to check-out and the gentleman at the register was singing along with the store music which lead to a little convo with him so we discussed music and sports while he never stopped working.
