Priced at 6.99, but it was Half Price Saturday! So, $3.50!!! A Steal!

I drive nearly 45 minutes to get to this store, but I have never left here empty-handed!!! Like the other Michiana stores, this building is not very "new and shiny," like many of the Goodwill stores in Illinois now. However, this Goodwill location is always clean, pretty well organized, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Also, the pricing is consistent in shoes, accessories, and board games. But, the other items vary. There is also always a ton of brand new Target items coming through this store. Half Price Saturdays are the BEST DAYS! They also have wonderful special events, such as Half Price Senior Day, or daily promotions like 10 books for $1. I have always scored a great item or two from most every department.

I have I have better luck here then the ones near my home. It is is bit unorganized but the hunt for stuff is part of the journey, I drop off stuff but always walking out the door with something in hand so it's a WIN WIN situation

Expensive, unorganized, and out of touch. Used Walmart and target shirts for $6.99. You can beat that on the clearance rack at Walmart and Target. I am a huge thrift store shopper this is definitely the worst one I've been to. There is literally no brand recognition. Also very dirty, but I'm OK with that in the thrift store.

Prices too high, expensive brand new items donated by Target can be found cheaper across the parking lot at Target.

What an unusual store! Random isn't the word for the assortment of merchandise: some furniture,…read moresome clothing, lots of men's shoes, few women's shoes, area rugs, toilet paper, some decor, a larger appliance section, a few toys and games, small appliances, single cans of soda, sparkling water, Monster, even some pet items. And dozens of suitcases of all colors! If you need luggage you will love the variety here. I'm working in the area this week and happened to see this store which is near my hotel. The furniture is very nice and extremely reasonably priced. I found a couple of couches that I would have considered purchasing IF I wasn't 3 hours from home and IF I was driving a truck. There were men's Land's End shoes for $5 a pair. A great deal! In fact everything I saw was a very good deal. I've never seen a store like this before. A fun place to shop! If I lived nearer I would stop in frequently! We definitely don't have a store like this in Carmel where I live. I'll add that everything was well organized and prices were clearly marked. This store is very clean and tidy. I'll definitely stop in whenever I am working in this area.

Everything from name-brand clothing and shoes to patio furniture and bedroom furniture, individual rolls of toilet paper, laundry baskets, washing machines, luggage, margarita mix, mirrors, giant cans of tuna, dog beds, tiki torches and lots more. Last Chance Overstock sells the things that didn't sell at other stores. It's the Island of Misfit Merchandise, if you will. (Will you?) My children had a fun time sitting in all of the chairs and couches around the store. A big portion of the store is dedicated to furniture, and the store-people are 100% OK with you and your children sitting on every couch and lying on every bed. My kids wanted to find the most comfortable couch, and they chose the one with plush corduroy that had cup holders and a USB plug. They wanted to buy it, but we live many miles away, and also, there is no way I'm inviting a couch with cupholders and a USB plug into my home. Get bent, kids. You need to look at the products carefully, because some of the things are a little worse for the wear. But for the most part, most of the items I saw at Last Chance looked perfectly fine. I wouldn't come here to find something specific, because inventory changes frequently, but this is a good place to browse and find a treasure.

For the younger thrifters, the clothing available will most likely not appeal to you, unless you're into reconstruction and are merely shopping for fabric/print. The children's clothes are plentiful, most are dated, all are clean. I never buy second hand shoes, so I cannot opine on that. They sell BETA tapes, a few CDs, some vinyl that nobody would want. There is a good selection of books, I got a hard cover Harry Potter with no dust jacket for a buck. Beware when buying clothing, they sell "boutique" items which are priced differently and not marked all that clearly. This store benefits Highland Christian School,it is cliquey (I know, right?? See below.) and Christian music is piped in through the loudspeakers. Cliquey, while checking out, the owner/manager was picking through my purchases telling the woman behind me who donated this, and "oh, little Madison wore this to her birthday party." It was a bit creepy.

I wanted to purchase a display item on a Tuesday and they told me they could not sell it until the following Monday at 10:00 AM. I said I really wanted it, it was a 1-of-a-kind item I had been looking for for years. Still NO. So being a Christian store I trusted that they would not sell it if that is their policy. I waited outside the door Monday before 10:00 AM and it wasn't in the store. The same lady who told me I could not buy it checked in the back and said someone had "accidentally" sold it before they were supposed to. Very bad business. I was waiting almost a whole week and took the morning off from work to be there at 10:00 AM Monday.
