Angelwood didn't change much about the physical establishment, seemingly even keeping many of the same fixtures. In comparison, goodwill seemed to have a greater variety of items to view/purchase from. Angelwood seemed to be more of a large item (furniture/sporting equipment/home goods/children's toys/cooking items/holiday decor) donation center. With that being said, it was somewhat difficult to push a shopping cart around in the store because of the multitude of large items placed on the sales floor. Maybe bring your baby stroller in if you've got a baby with you, as opposed to a shopping cart! Items were fairly well organized to allow for maxim exposure/sell thru on the sales floor. Employees, with the exception of the cashier, were non-existent. Sales floor was as clean as a typical thrift store is. Attempted... not perfected!

People sleeping on the sidewalks. Some very shady looking characters wandering around. We parked in the lot that was designated for the flea market but decided that we were not brave enough to get out of the car, so we left. It wasn't worth getting knifed over. From the car we couldn't see much that looked decent.

This was my first visit to this particular Goodwill site. I have to say that it is rather hidden…read morebehind a couple of large palm trees and easy to miss! It's also a smaller Goodwill donation center too. But it is vital to know that this is NOT a Goodwill store. It is for those who desire to make donations of clothing, small appliances, etc. Midge, the attendant was very courteous during my visit and took my donation without any issues. I always encourage people to give to charity in whatever ways and means they are able to so. Whether it's holidays or just unloading things that are no longer needed, do give to others who may benefit from them. Please! Make sure they are usable, working, and if clothing, still good for use. If it's something you wouldn't wear or is actually broken, why would you give it to your neighbor? Let's care for our neighbors and do good in our world. Although, when I sale my items I bring a big bag of gently used clothes/new clothes that have never been worn and yet they either give me $5 or nothing. They have so many clothes that aren't gently worn or brand new...they have stains on them and some letters or whatever is on the clothing is missing..doesn't make any sense. Didn't want to make this a race issue but I haven't seen any other African American in that store besides myself and I leave out of there with nothing the last 2 times I've been...meanwhile everyone else leaves there with 30+ dollars.
