I like this Goodwill store this is my 2nd or 3rd time back in 3 months. I don't get out to Greenwood too often as I live an hour away but I will try to stop here when I do. I have the pics attached of my most recent stop here and mainly I focused on the clothing and not the decor aisles. It was a fun stop and it seems they turn over the clothes pretty quickly. The prices are in line with most other Goodwills in the area. Central Indiana Goodwills no longer offer the color off the day or other discounts such as military or senior. They also do not have a dressing room so I try to wear clothes that are close to the body and easy to put clothes on over. I will come back to try this one again. read more

It's standard/average and par for the course for a Goodwill store. I've been to quite a few Goodwill stores fairly close to me as well. I prefer this one for it's proximity to where I live. It's overall selection is average. I will still go to other locations once in awhile to see what they have. read more

Not my favorite location for Goodwill. The parking lot is a bit run down but the lot is on a light so it's nice to get in and out of. I'm not a huge fan that the donation door is on the front of the store rather than the side. read more

My 11 year old and I make Goodwill one of our "do together" outings. Brought Dad along once, and now he's hooked too! Found so many great treasures. A curio cabinet, a cedar chest, even clothes with tags still on them. You never know. We have 3 local stores we visit, all of them we always find something we didn't know we needed. This Goodwill is so ridiculously over priced compared to the surrounding Goodwill stores it's pathetic. Generic running shoes go for $20 & then you have name brand shoes for $6 or $7. You can at anytime find shirts with holes in them or STAINS & they want $4.49 & sometimes $9.99 just because it has a certain name brand on it. The only good thing I will say about this overpriced store that gets stuff for FREE is the older lady with short hair who is a cashier, I believe her name is Sheryl or Shirley. I'm a huge goodwill fan but lately so many of the shirts have the tag punched right through the fabric as opposed to through the thread. I had to put back six shirts today because the person putting the tags on created a hole by putting the tag right through the shirt. read more

I'm giving this Goodwill 5 stars for a few reasons: The location and appearance is suitable for Greenwood. They have the best book selections out of all the Goodwill in the area. Although I do miss the old store (more for the memories of sweet, sweet thrifting) I have to admit, their new building is waay waay better! It's clean, much more organized, much larger, and has like double the selection of books before. In general I'm a huge fan of Goodwills everywhere, I can spend hours looking, hoping to get that perfect find. This location has a pretty good record and book collection, plus on occasion, I find some pants that are talls (when I'm really lucky!). Every week there is a different color on sale (half off) and the first Saturday of the month is mass chaos as everything in the store is half off. Who can resist a sale like that! Plus if you sign up for the rewards program you get $5 off a $25 purchase like every other month. Win! read more

I didn't care for the cashier not asking if I was a rewards member and checking to see if my $20 was real or not. In which it was real. The woman in front of me was asked if she was a rewards member they looked her up in the system couldn't find her and she said no I'm probably not. She paid for her stuff with a $20 bill she didn't check to see if it was real or not just put it and the till and moved to me. I come in the store wearing business casual clothes coming from work. I had a lovely time at this goodwill, found the perfect bookcase for my classroom. Upon paying for the shelf, the cashier told me to pick it up around the side of the building. When arriving to the side of the building, the bookcase was sitting there and no staff was to be seen. We began loading it into the car when a staff member working came out and said "Don't you dare come on this property and take out stuff." even though I had just purchased the item and it was waiting exactly where I was supposed to pick it up. He asked to see my receipt and when I pulled it out, this man ripped it out of my hands, read I had payed for it, and stormed off. Very displeased with the service and he could have gone about the entire situation a completely different way. read more

Dropped out a few donations after my wedding. The employees were helpful and I love the carport for the donations area. Its a bit out of my way, but I will visit sometime soon for shopping. read more

Usually bring donations once a week, and there is always someone outside to greet me. The places is always busy and has a good selection. I dropped a star on the rating however because I've noticed an usually high mark up lately especially on furniture items, but overall a great value read more

This a pretty, pretty good Goodwill on the Southside. It's the distribution center for most of Indy, so they usually have a ton of stuff. Driving out here is only feasible when I am in Greenwood and even then it's past the mall. Ugh! read more

This Goodwill is really hit-or-miss when it comes to selection. I usually stop in to kill time and look at the furniture or ugly Christmas sweaters. They really need more floor-space. I know they receive more donations than the other local locations that get distributed. Weekend evenings everything is usually picked-through or gone. read more
