I found some cute Betsey Johnson cat earrings that I purchased. There were a lot of unique items especially in the furniture they had. Make sure and bring a shopping bag as they are bagless. The staff is friendly and helpful. I looked around and thought prices were too high for a Goodwill, or any thrift store. Dated cookbooks were $5. Old wreaths were $10. I did find a Pyrex mug for $1 that I purchased. The donation center is prominent, tidy and convenient when you enter the parking lot.

Shirts run the gamut from band t-shirts, Mickey Mouse, sports, hobbies and other things. Have you been looking for a shirt that says, "It's five o'clock somewhere?" Do you need a hoodie that shows your undying love for Dayton Beach? Or maybe a ball cap with a black Labrador Retriever on it? This is the place for you. Speaking of ball caps, you'll also find lots of hats and caps, Indiana artwork for sale, posters, denim (both shorts and long pants), jackets and lots more. This is a thrift store with curated items and has some of the best vintage goods you'll find at some of the best prices. I went to the Zionsville location looking for dinner plates and side tables. I was very close to pulling the trigger on some vintage ceramic plates, but decided to keep looking at the last minute. The friendly woman behind the counter said that the merchandise changes very frequently, so I should check back soon. This store has lots of home goods, including frames, flatware, furniture, decorations, mirrors, rugs and light fixtures. There is also a small supply of raw items like kitchen sinks, doors, cabinets and other materials. The prices are very good, but just a tick higher than some of the other Habitat ReStores that I've visited in the Indy area. Still, I'll be back soon to see what new goodies have come in!

The thrift store is opened to the public and sells mostly clothes (women's, men's and children's ) and shoes, with also a bit of vintage jewelry and women's accessories. I like rummaging through thrift stores and looking for unique vintage items. The volunteer staff is super friendly and helpful. Changing rooms are available to try on clothing. The small shop is well organized. Prices are very reasonable and proceeds benefit the food pantry. Jewelry was marked half price during my visit. I found a stunning artisan necklace, which I regret not buying. The shop is located behind the church and there is plenty of parking. The shop maintains the same hours as the adjacent food pantry, so the hours vary.

I was fortunate to be able to catch the soft opening of Second Treasures, a thrift store opening up…read moreon a part-time schedule as part of Second Presbyterian Church's missions program. Second Treasures will be open about 10 hours a week with a particularly focus on supporting the needs of its Washington Township neighbors. It's patterned after the church's popular Bazaar and Clothing Sale and will support the work of the church's Women's Ministry. A good majority of the items are donated by church members and will be staffed by volunteers from the church. It's located at the North end of Second's Mission Suite (outside the Northside Food Pantry). The thrift store is opening to the public on Tuesday, April 23rd, and will be open on Tuesdays (12-3pm), Wednesdays (3:30-6:30pm), and Saturdays (9:30am-12:30pm). I was pleased with the items available and the prices at which they were marked. Clothing, of course, is quite popular here and there are items for men, women, children, etc. While you won't mistake this non-profit, church-based thrift store for one of the behemoths in terms of selection, this is a really cool idea for a great cause. Today's soft opening/open house was a great chance to get a feel for everything to be offered and how it all will work. Cash and credit cards are accepted. In terms of accessibility, there's plenty of accessible parking and doorways are pretty decent. This is on the first floor and accessibility should not be an issue. 5-stars might be a tad generous given the simplicity of the project, however, I'm always a fan of true non-profit, mission-based efforts and I'm anxious to see this one grow and truly support the Washington Township area.
