On the other hand, nothing ever moves in the Greeley store. It's all over priced. They have completely lost the mission and the purpose here. They get free items and they sell them above market. Good will on 47th is about half as much, and the loveland restore takes the cake with the best prices in a 20 mile radius.

They were pulling exercise equipment off the truck and I made a comment to the team, "I am glad to see they took exercise equipment as that is what I have to donate!" None of the 5 men acknowledged me or answered me after I said this. However, I finally got help and I asked to speak to the manager after a second man came over and stated the treadmill was broken and they can't accept. I had the treadmill in parts as that was the only way to remove from my home and transport it. After speaking to the manager Clayton, one of the men on the truck began to argue with me in front of him. He claimed they said they would be with me in a moment. This was an outright lie in front of his manager. We donate a lot of items throughout the year and I have never experienced such abrasive attitudes from anyone like this. They are usually friendly and accommodating. Seriously, we are giving you something that is providing you an income. We will not be donating at this location again. Very rude and unappreciative. We have other choices to donate items. So disappointing in a charity like this!

I spent 3 days on the phone searching for a shelter for victims of domestic violence. I called every single DV shelter in Denver, Aurora, Englewood ,Boulder, Bailey , Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Loveland, Fort Collins, Longmont, and Grand Junction. When I called A Woman's Place in Greeley I was so happy to hear that they in fact had more than one vacancy. I completed the intake process and waited for them to call me back with a decision. I was devastated when the advocate called me back to say I was not a good fit for their program. Since then I've been turned away by their staff on at least 4 separate occasions. The advocate I spoke with today was particularly insensitive when I asked her to explain the basis for the decision. She said "No, I need to move on to other victims who need help" and hung up on me.
