Goodwill offers a hand up to people in our community who need one. For that, I commend them. However, there is no customer service at the Silverdale store. You go in, perhaps they unlock a dressing room for you but don't expect anything beyond that. The floor in this store has a consistent vibration that is very annoying. This Goodwill is cleaner than the one in Bremerton. It has a slightly better selection of DVDs, CDs, and VHS too. Selection of clothing is better in Bremerton's Goodwill. Pants are only good for girls with smaller waists. And they don't have a very good selection of shirts, at least, not like the Bremerton one. They have a better selections of toys and electronics than Bremerton's. I've found some really cute and awesome things here before. A like new Disney Thumper plush, a working Dreamcast, and a DDR pad. They often have anime DVDs and old 80's cartoon VHS. Nice! The only thing I don't like about this Goodwill is the service. They simply aren't as nice at the people who work in the Bremerton one. And the last time I was there, I didn't get helped right away when I wanted to go into the fitting rooms. I didn't know the woman working at the jewelry counter was the one who had to help me. I remember her standing there doing nothing. I know two other employees saw me standing there with 3 pairs of jeans in my arms. Only after 5 mins did a customer tell me the jewelry counter lady was the one I had to ask to be let in, and by the time I knew that I had to wait for 3 other customers paying at her counter (because no one was at the main cash registers). It's a pain to wait for service to use the locked fitting rooms...at the Bremerton Goodwill, there's always a person waiting just for that reason. Here, not so much. I prefer the Bremerton Goodwill over the Silverdale one for sure as far as clothing. But I prefer this one for it's other items and it's cleanliness. read more

Avoid this goodwill. I don't know how they justify their prices. Poshmark is a better deal AFTER paying shipping. Honestly this goodwill has atrocious pricing and I don't know why anyone would purchase anything from there. You're better off going to TJ Max or Ross and buying something brand new for THE SAME PRICE! $20 for a dress. $7.99 for long sleeves $12.99 for sweaters. For USED clothing! Other goodwills in the area have far more reasonable pricing for the same things. Whoever is pricing the merchandise at this goodwill has a screwed sense of reality. read more

All you need to know about this store is the parking lot! It is ALWAYS packed! It's been a very popular shopping destination in Silverdale since their doors opened. There are fantastic values and often, you can find brand-new, with the tags still on, clothing and lots of name brand items. Each week they have a different color "tag" on sale at half price and the day after Christmas, even the tags that NEVER go on sale (Fashion Focus, Designer Brand shoes and hangbags) go on sale for half price. You cannot miss in this store. I always find what I need, want and didn't know I wanted. Love the staff too. Many of them have just gone through the Goodwill Industries Job Training Program. read more

I enjoy coming here with my mom and finding some great gems that people generously donate to the community. I've found clothes, DVD's, CD's, and books that're brand new that people give away because they have no use for them anymore. I've myself donated my clothes that I don't use anymore or I've outgrown to this Goodwill because I know other people who need it more than I do. I love finding something new every time I go and I usually pray that'll find exactly what I've been looking for. I love to donate for a good cause (one to always say yes to the cashier when they ask if I want to donate $1 to a cause in need). But no longer to this location. Employees are very very rude. It's unbelievable. People that donate are the reason why those people are employed. A year ago, I went to donate a trunk full of clothes and household items. I asked the employee where I should put them and they said, "Right the f*c over there". I was shocked and walked in the warehouse requesting for a Manager immediately. The manager offered me a coupon to save during my next visit and said the employee would be talked to. Emailed headquarters and they said the same thing. Horrible scenario to be verbally harassed when I'm donating. Next scenario (a few weeks ago, decided to give them another chance), I went to donate and the employees just stood there and stared. I put the donated items in the bin and didn't receive a thank you, let alone a single word. At least fake it (customer courtesy)when you take it! Ungrateful. The Bremerton Goodwill has a friendly staff and are always grateful, polite and friendly. Silverdale Goodwill is a disgrace. Quite the embarrassment to Kitsap County. Find another place. These were two situations, good enough to stay away. Update: Management said they'd look into this. read more

Gotta be the cleanest goodwill I've ever been in. It's huge too! Good selection of everything, nothing felt dirty or too worn threw either. The staff was friendly as well. I have never seen such a busy, HUGE-(Donald Trump voice),packed to the gills GW! The more I looked around, you can tell that the surrounding stores donate the clearance. I found 3 Calvin Klein blazers, a tan suede Cynthia Rowley jacket, 6 turquoise and silver necklaces, a gorgeous turquoise pin and 2 Yankee candles! Drum rolll please....... $65! Crammed with Halloween items, and everything you can imagine or can't! Don't pay full price for anything since you can most likely find it here!!!! read more

The store can get a bit busy esp the parking lot can be very annoying. Although the some of the finds in here are well worth the stress.

This location is my least favorite. The prices tend to be higher than other stores, and since it's a training store, the change over of employees is constant. The trainee's are often more in the way then fellow shopper's. The aisles are barely wide enough for a shopping cart. And the parking lot is a hazardous place! Can you find a treasure...sure but I leave this store more stressed the satifisied. read more

This is my most favorite Goodwill store I have been to. I always stop when visiting the Silverdale area. Huge store with so much to look at. Prices are better than our local Goodwill. Hardworking and friendly associates. Clean store and always ready to browse. Only thing is the parking lot is hard to get in and out of because of the rather tight parking spaces. read more

Is this Goodwill or an independent department store? They have a decent electronics section, some furniture, a huge selection of shoes, lots of clothes, books, toys, cooking devices, dishes, and more served in a tidy place. The only thing this place is missing is a snowboard section (they had skis). It's an oddly pleasing congregation for people of all ages finding useful items at great prices. Worth checking out at least once if you live in the area. read more

I was followed around the store the entire time. They stopped following me when I spoke up about it to my mother who I was shopping with. The workers are extremely transparent about their behavior. It is off-putting and a really uncomfortable shopping experience dealing with workers who will literally run to the back corner of the store to pretend to look at an old coffee maker just to have me constantly be in eyesight. I haven't done a single thing to warrant such treatment and my only idea as to why they did it is profiling. read more

One of my favorite stores. I just found the perfect reception dress for my daughter's wedding. It's a David's Bridal shop dress that retails for $150. Got it for $20 at this store. I always find great deals and treasures. Just have to be willing to take time and explore the hidden treasures. I like to check them out a couple times a week because they add new stuff every day. read more

I love shopping here for those one-of-a-kind treasures! What strikes me most about the Silverdale Goodwill are the people who work here. There are many friendly faces there but a few stand out as genuinely interested and interesting people. They're patient, funny, kind and knowledgeable. They sincerely care about their customers and strive to make your (my) day better. Recently I had hand basket that was overflowing with clothes and a (busy) CSR noticed I was having trouble and brought me a cart. When I was leaving I realized I hadn't brought enough money to pay- or wasn't sure anyway. Ordinarily this would have been a very embarrassing situation but she was patient, helpful and made it seem like it was nothing. Thank you, "Victoria". Today I met a CSR named "Thomas": he was super friendly, knowledgeable about history and funny. He remembered my name and helped me find what I needed. This is by far my favorite Goodwill. Every time we head to Poulsbo from Puyallup we make a stop. The absolute only reason that I gave a 4 instead of 5 stars is because the last couple of times we have been I have really noticed an increase in prices. There is a really great selection in every department especially toys and we have found a few furniture pieces for next to nothing. Everything is always clean and organized unlike the Bremerton GW. This store will definitely ruin you to other thrift stores. read more

Do not shop at the Silverdale Goodwill. There prices are outlandish , my god I thought I was shopping a major department retail store that has Brand New items for sale , oh thats right I am at Silverdale Goodwill and to the best of my knowledge & recollection its a 2nd hand store with used items. So my fiancé found a pair of boots that she really liked , they were fair condition , with the heels scratched and soles showed normal wear & tear. There was no goodwill color coded sticker on them and the price seemed very unreasonable to me for 2nd pre-owned boots. I decided to take them to the check out and and ask the manager what color coded good will sticker would these boots would have since it appeared to have one because of the glue residue still left behind. So the cashier called a manager over and I was told no discount and that boots don't get stickers because they fall off but, what was odd was that i looked at several other pairs of boots and all had stickers on them. I decided to not do business with them today and politely walked out , so then I called the Silverdale Goodwill from the parking lot and spoke to person in charge who told me that color coded stickers are date stamped and thats how discounts are determined and after a week or so if the merchandise hasn't sold they pick a color for the day and discount it. If it still doesn't sell then its taken to Seattle Goodwill and sold by the weight. I asked the manager then , how can you determine how long the merchandise is in rotation if there is no sticker with a date to determine its shelf life with you ? The manager of the store didn't have an answer. So if you feel like paying retail for 2nd hand goods then by all means have a good time. If it was possible I wouldn't even give Silverdale Goodwill 1 star. I will never shop at the Silverdale Goodwill again. Have a nice day !! read more

About a year ago they more than doubled their prices on everything in the store and for those of us that look for a special treasure we now have to shop on Goodwill's EBay page. I have been treasure hunting this store since it opened, at least twice a week, so this observation is consistent. I gave three stars because it is cleaner and brighter than other Goodwill stores in area and the staff is helpful. If you need that item on a budget, don't bother with this Goodwill store. read more

I will now never go to this store. I have been coming to this store since they opened it as it was closer than Bremerton. But now not so much. I have been in the store where I have been pushed out of the way of the people pushing this giant things that have items in it. Umm excuse me I thought I was the customer here I mean really what the fuck. I have also waited very nicely for a fitting room and the lady who was suppose to be letting people in seem bothered that I wanted and room and then had the fucking balls to ask "oh did you need a fitting room?*eye roll*" I was polite and said yes I would like one please. The worst part is that even when I was nice and said hello to anyone just walking by I was grunted at or had no response at all. But what has pushed me over the edge to just say fuck it I will drive a little further to buy or donate my stuff, is when I was donating items recently I did what I always have done and opened up my car waited a moment to be said hello and to help the person place the items where they belong, oooohhh no that is not what happened at all, I stood there and was told to put the items in the cart and then he disappeared. He later came back after I was struggling to a bigger box out of my car. I am not one to be like ugh you get paid for this. Bu fuck man, its not that hard to at least be nice. I know we all have bad days but man its as though this store is just having an overall bad time and may need some help if it keeps this up. It is just sad but I will be driving to Bremerton or find some other organization to donate to I think you should consider the same. read more

Moving into the former Linens 'N Things space across from Costco I think is a great move. This place is usually really busy, but there's so much stuff there that despite the volume of shoppers, good things can be had there. I'm not sure where the goods are collected that end up there other than direct drop off, but it doesn't seem to be taking away from Bremerton Goodwill's stock at least what can be seen from the sale floor. Silverdale's store is spacious with good bathrooms. The children's clothes are a little crammed and not arranged as well as the Bremerton store, but it appears to be getting better every time I go. The adult sections are spacious and even have a separate area for clothes that appear to be more trendy than others. Good place to go, but if you find something you like, buy it and not wait until the color tag gets marked down; it'll be gone by then. read more

Extremely rude staff even the manager, no one is helpful, at first I thought it was just the mood that first day but returned several times and staff the same each time. They intentionally treat customers like garbage act like it's our fault things are not tagged or question when things are in sets like we not their own staff put it on the floor that way. The vibrates non-stop which is annoying to say the least. Also agree the place does not smell as bad as the Bremerton one but it is slowly but surely getting there. read more
