Trosa is located on Peters Creek Hwy in the Food Lion strip center at the Clemmonsville exit. It's easy to get to and there's plenty of parking which I love. Right inside the door is their whole furniture section, they have tons of tables, chairs, dressers , etc. they even have a whole section of office specific furniture. The prices are very reasonable. This would be a furniture flippers paradise. Towards the back they have shelves of everything from pillows to whole sets of dishes, sports equipment and the most medical mobility equipment I've ever seen anywhere. I'd say, if you are in need of a walker, a bath seat or portable toilet for someone look here because they probably have it at a fraction of the cost it would be to purchase new or rent. The clothing is grouped all together but they aren't keeping it organized as well as it needs to be. All different sizes were mixed in together and I quickly got frustrated and gave up. Both of us had found an item in the kitchen area we wanted so we headed to check out. The workers were very friendly as well. I'll definitely be checking out Trosa regularly in the future. Trosa supports substance abuse treatment. If you want to donate to them, they offer pick up for larger items or you can bring your items to their donation drop off around the back of the store. My son and I looked around and I found glasses I needed for a dollar a piece. I was exited because this was something I needed and would save me a lot of money. I will be back when I am in need of items for my home.

It's multi-storied (2 & 1/2 - 3 perhaps?) with stairs going in different directions. You can get quite a workout walking around. They have a little bit of everything, from furniture to clothes, from knickknacks to costume jewelry, etc. The prices seemed to be a bit high to me, but that might be par for the area. I did find some really nice shirts for my adult kids at decent prices. The place appeared pretty clean for me, so I don't know where the comments on it being dirty are coming from. It is a thrift shop that sells used items, so I would never expect it to be brand new clean, all spic & span. The workers were pleasant to deal with.

Always a Great Find!…read more Each time I visit this Goodwill, I walk away with so many little gems! Because it's also a donation center, shoppers often get first dibs on new arrivals at very reasonable prices. I've been to many Goodwills where the pricing left me speechless--but this location really seems to understand they're reselling used items, and they price things fairly. There's always a good amount of stock, especially in the household section, which is my favorite. The employees are incredibly helpful and have even offered to help carry items to my car when I've purchased larger pieces--something I truly appreciate. My only suggestion would be to post pricing more clearly. Also, there isn't a dedicated baby section--just a few small racks with baby and toddler clothes mixed in. It's not a huge deal since the selection is limited, but a little more organization there would go a long way. Overall, this is one of the better Goodwills I've shopped at--and definitely one I'll keep coming back to!

The people I've encountered working here are polite. Now, if you are looking for clothing, you're in luck. They have a wide variety of clothing available. I took my daughter, her boyfriend and myself there to browse, and we all found something we liked. (Jean jacket, a name-brand sweatshirt, and men's casual dress shirts.) The next, are decorative pictures. I was very surprised by the amount they had. Yes, I even found one that I purchased for a gift. They do not have a large selection of toys, appliances, dishes, knickknacks, etc. I'm not sure if that was because of the time, the day or if those items fluctuate. As other reviewers have said, the store is well organized. Prices are a hit or miss with some items but there are daily discounts for ticket colors. In addition to clothing, shoes, and household goods, there is also a few short and interesting aisles of snack and grocery items near the registers. Prices are deeply discounted. (Lara bars for 49 cents, chips for 50 cents, etc.) Not sure about expiration dates so check thoroughly but I've never had a problem with any of the items I bought in that section. They get clearance merchandise that never sold from places like target and Kohl's. They obviously get a lot of junk from Amazon pallets too. The store is massive but a ton of the racks are the same exact 30 pairs of jeans priced at $20 so don't expect an incredible selection just based off the square footage of the building. Beyond that, a LOT of the donated clothing they choose to put out is very heavily worn with very obvious flaws such as massive tears, bleach stains, and fast fashion that is literally falling apart and needs to be in the trash. Yet they'll still put a $10 price tag on a pair of jeans with a huge hole in the crotch. The prices are much higher than other chain thrift stores around it, and the quality is awful. Beyond the actual merchandise, the store is depressing. I used the restroom and there was no toilet paper in ANY stall in both the women's AND men's bathrooms! Not a single one. And no paper towels! How is that possible? The floors are dirty, the people who work there are not friendly, and the donation process is "park outside with your flashers on and hope someone actually comes out to assist you".
