Trosa is located on Peters Creek Hwy in the Food Lion strip center at the Clemmonsville exit. It's easy to get to and there's plenty of parking which I love. Right inside the door is their whole furniture section, they have tons of tables, chairs, dressers , etc. they even have a whole section of office specific furniture. The prices are very reasonable. This would be a furniture flippers paradise. Towards the back they have shelves of everything from pillows to whole sets of dishes, sports equipment and the most medical mobility equipment I've ever seen anywhere. I'd say, if you are in need of a walker, a bath seat or portable toilet for someone look here because they probably have it at a fraction of the cost it would be to purchase new or rent. The clothing is grouped all together but they aren't keeping it organized as well as it needs to be. All different sizes were mixed in together and I quickly got frustrated and gave up. Both of us had found an item in the kitchen area we wanted so we headed to check out. The workers were very friendly as well. I'll definitely be checking out Trosa regularly in the future. Trosa supports substance abuse treatment. If you want to donate to them, they offer pick up for larger items or you can bring your items to their donation drop off around the back of the store. My son and I looked around and I found glasses I needed for a dollar a piece. I was exited because this was something I needed and would save me a lot of money. The employee who checked us out was super nice. He gave us mor einfo about the store and gave my son a free item because he was wearing a Star wars shirt. I will be back when I am in need of items for my home.

Some of the prices were a little high. The selection in the household section was limited. On the bright side, they have some pretty good furniture to choose from. They also have some neat hanging lights. They sell books, appliances, old records, lighting, Christmas decor, and other items. We wound up parking across the street at the farmers market. There was plenty of parking and it was really close.

Worst habitat by far that I have ever been too. Not even a good selection of anything available…read moremost of the time. And the manager is another story. He is a work of art!! He purposely told me I could wait 7 more days to pick an item up after I was telling him I had no way to haul due to vehicle issues which occurred after the purchase. Then he said because I waited so long. He couldn't refund or give store credit!! I would have been happy with stire credit at least. I will drive out of town to go to statesville habitat or elsewhere before I deal with this crook again! I am sure he pocketed the money himself!!!

Oh my goodness. What an absolutely precious shop! Since we now live in the area I try to support…read moreour local small businesses. This shop seems to have limited hours so I've been following them on Facebook to see when they are open. Today was the day I've been waiting for and oh my, it was well worth the wait. Cute, creative, amazing variety of products well displayed. There are several small rooms packed with merchandise you don't typically see in your regular retail shops. I revisited several of the rooms and each time discovered something new. I gained permission to take pictures so everyone could get a better idea about what is available here. Today they had fresh roasted peanuts that I'm sure was a big hit. Also, customers bringing in at least 2 cans of food today to be donated to the local food pantry received a 20% discount on purchases. So, not only does this business offer a great shopping experience they care about their local community as well. I'm looking forward to returning and taking friends there to shop.

They are mostly decor and books and kitchen with some antiques. We did manage to find a few things that were interesting and did make a purchase. Friendly service and the prices are fantastic.
