This place has a lot of items for home decor. We came in looking for some frames and the picture frames were on sale for 50% off on the day we came in so we picked up three frames, normally at $19.99 for just at $10.00 each. I didn't have the time to go through the whole store but they seem to have enough for every interest.

REALLY nice hobby lobby! Staff were so friendly and helpful. The place was super clean and organized and the sale deals were awesome

This Hobby Lobby is huge! Hobby Lobby isn't my first choice for home crafts etc since I'm not on the same page with a lot of their beliefs, but man do they put together a good craft store. I usually come here if the competitor down the street doesn't quite have what I am looking for, or if I need something more in the home decor realm. Their home decor selection is really pretty impressive! They have about every different style you can think of from modern to more traditional, you could find something for a teenager or your grandmother. I am putting together a gallery wall and they really had the finishing touches i needed. Their frames are 50% everyday, which to me is ridiculous, just put the actual price on there, not make it look like a sale. Its not really a sale if it is that price everyday. But I would follow their actual sales if you are looking for something particular. On this particular trip all of the home accents I needed were 50% off which makes the price quite reasonable. They aren't open on Sunday's which is a downside in my opinion since I don't usually have time to go shopping during the week. But from my years working retail I can see how that is nice for employees. Overall the store is huge, the employees are friendly, and they have pretty much everything you need as far as craft stores go.

    Definitely options!

Clerk in clothing department VERY cordial and friendly. After a few days, Dec 28 I decided to return to buy my adult female children another piece or two of Brighton jewelry and look over the discounted Christmas items. I had just started shopping and the sales clerk in the jewelry department, near the Brighton display, asked me in a harsh tone if she could help me. I assured her I was fine and continued browsing. She told me TWICE that any jewelry had to be paid for before leaving the area. Then she proceeded to try and take my basket as "it looks heavy and I can hold it at the counter ". I assured her again I was fine and when I was through shopping I'd pay for my purchases. I continued shopping, looking at the soaps and scented lotions. At this point she called security and told her I was SHOPLIFTING!! All I was doing was browsing and ignoring the rude clerk. I continued "shopping and browsing" for another 30 minutes or so & I could have done this for hours but tired of the reception and unfair accusation. I found another clerk to check out. I paid for my selected items, all in my basket, and left. I'm an elderly professional female, dressed appropriately for shopping and feel I certainly didn't appear homeless nor on drugs. I have absolutely no idea why the clerk "profiled" me as a "shoplifter"! I travel frequently for work and buy a lot of my jewelry in airport boutiques. I have also purchased a number of items of Brighton at my go-to-place in Greensboro. Afterwards I was sorry I didn't just fill my basket up, sit it down, then walk out. I'll be returning every item I purchased Saturday (over $500) at Salem Creek and making sure store management is aware of the way staff treated a potential high paying customer. I'll also make sure to let all my friends and colleagues know about the way I was treated by store staff! Very unprofessional.

We participated with 6 or 7 other people, so it was a a good small group but we did enjoy chatting with the other attendees. Our instructor was fun, friendly, and knowledgeable and answered all our questions along the way. We started with a spring mix salad and for the entree, she made a veggie option and one with sausage. Both were delicious, but my favorite was definitely the meat version. I love that this was just an hour long and so a little more budget friendly and also if you call the shop and book directly, you can save the online booking fees so keep that in mind. I definitely plan to attend another class - these are such fun, interactive, and tasty events and they are helping me get into cooking more which has been a longtime goal of mine., The demo kitchen is in the back of the shop, the rest of the store is full retail with home and kitchen goods, decor, gifts, etc. You get 10% off your purchase after taking the demo class, so don't forget that. @azfitfoodfun

Look over their events calendar and you'll see they offer several cooking classes a week, including some which are specifically targeted towards children. With a roomy kitchen setup in the back of the store, there are every kind of class you can think of which allow you to try to cuisines, learn new techniques, and try new tools. Today's visit was a children's class, taught by Nissa and assisted by Jennifer (the website lists all the instructor profiles.) Nissa is an elementary school teacher and was FANTASTIC with keeping a group of kids engaged, learning, and feeling welcomed. The kids were given cookbooks, walked step-by-step through several recipes, and got to be hands-on through every step of the process. They learned how to safely use tools, how to mix the ingredients, and at the end of the class got to eat what they had made. My niece LOVED this experience, and as the adult in corner watching I was a bit jealous. Of course, the adults are not required to stay, and they told me some parents choose to go shop or get a treat in Thru-Way while the class happens, but we were also welcome to watch. Personally, I spent some time wandering the store and was enamored with such a massive selection of kitchen tools and home goods. I ended up buying a few of the tools they used during the class to bring home (like a really nifty tool for mincing garlic, or a strawberry huller!). I'm planning to come back and try one of these classes for adults in the future. They told me that some of the adult classes are more observation while some are hands-on, so check the calendar, but I fully recommend checking the classes out for a fun activity. And if education isn't your thing, swing by one afternoon while you're shopping to check out the very broad inventory offerings in the store. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful!

Not purchasing anymore) came up again today when I asked about these really cool styrofoam peeps for Easter decorations intended for outdoor use and I asked if they were treated for outdoors because I have a problem with outdoor items I've purchased there over the years falling apart (aka reindeer) The woman at the register told me they're really only intended for one season that she had to redo her reindeer by reinforcing and repainting yearly. She did say the styrofoam peeps were painted with a good outdoor paint. I am still thinking about the peeps cuz they're so cute but I guess I was just disappointed about the non-caring attitude of the crickets nest employee and also feel like if the wooden outdoor items are really only intended to last through one Christmas or one season maybe it should be noted or you should be told at the register.
