The coat was just $16, and if you do a little dance at check out they give you 10% off. Say less, I did my little dance and walked out of there with a purchase under $15 that I've already worn 3 times! They have a good variety of nice outfits, casual ware, accessories and shoes as well. I drooled at the stunning array of rings, pendants and bracelets! I had been told earlier that day by my hubby that if I wanted a piece of jewelry for my Birthday/ Christmas present, I could choose whatever I wanted! So hard to choose, but got it narrowed down to a vintage Baume & Mercier solid gold hidden watch bracelet or a diamond necklace. I went with the bracelet, (but will probably get the necklace too). Don't hesitate to visit this gem of a store! They have so many styles and pieces that you are sure to find something perfect. The prices were unbelievable, I was expecting to pay 3 times what I did! The quality and workmanship is amazing, unlike major jewelry stores now. With gold prices these days, those stores are making their jewelry as thin and cheap as possible. Always buy quality vintage jewelry!

That's even more than my local women's club raised (through donations and fundraising only) for the same period. The store is neatly organized, and the prices are great. The day I stopped in, they were having a half-off sale on their women's clothing, and I was able to find several things that I liked. They also have a variety of housewares, cookware, linens, shoes, and decor. They even have a roomy fitting room to try on clothes. Note that they don't have any men's clothing. All of their items are donated, and many were higher-end brands. I found several Loft and Talbots tops and dresses that I had to purchase. Village Thrift is also fully run by volunteers who are friendly and happy to be there. I'll definitely return the next time I'm in town!
