I do think the items here tend to lean more conservative/vintage etc but there are surely gems to be found. During my visit there was a sale for 50% off Linens which was kind of crazy because their original price is already really affordable. I was looking for towels/blankets to help cushion some my heavier and more fragile purchases that I made and I picked up the three hand knitted blankets for $6. I can't even get yarn for $6 let alone have a finished product. This was definitely a more sustainable way to ensure my fragile souvenirs could get back home safely and I think was cheaper than buying bubble wrap. Prices in this shop are inexpensive compared to California Thrift shops so I think it's worth a look!

One thing I hate about these places is how the clothes you sell to them you make about a %10 profit of what they'll make (you get a $1 they sell it for $10) and those they don't want they act like you gave them rotting garbage and are appalled you even considered trying to sell them. I had an instance were a they didn't want a swimsuit at closet mentor and suggested Plato's and then the owner was like yeah I've seen this item before at my other store and I didn't want it there.

They ask for men's…read moreclothes because they never get them but when you bring lightly used men's clothes in they don't take any of them and say "they are not in style" we live in North Dakota and pearl snaps are in style and would bring in more men as we are a farming state. They only think about what teenagers are going to buy. When you bring name brands like buckle you get $4 for it when you paid $100 then they sell it for $30. At this rate you would be better off selling on Facebook and waiting 6 months for it to sell.
