I couldn't find any of the kids shoes I went in there to find even though it said they had them in stock online at that store. Then I couldn't even find my sons size in any shoe I had to just look for his size and open the box and hope they were boys. It was a mess. Worst Kohl's I've ever been to. They're lucky they are the only one for hundreds of miles and that they're not my normal Kohl's, we were just in Bismarck for the day. Oh and when I told the lady checking me out she said "oh well sorry". I'm not saying the store has to be perfect but it had every brand, every size and gender all just thrown around in the kids section.

I do think the items here tend to lean more conservative/vintage etc but there are surely gems to be found. During my visit there was a sale for 50% off Linens which was kind of crazy because their original price is already really affordable. I was looking for towels/blankets to help cushion some my heavier and more fragile purchases that I made and I picked up the three hand knitted blankets for $6. I can't even get yarn for $6 let alone have a finished product. This was definitely a more sustainable way to ensure my fragile souvenirs could get back home safely and I think was cheaper than buying bubble wrap. Prices in this shop are inexpensive compared to California Thrift shops so I think it's worth a look!

Then her and i make eye contact. I continue to look at the shoes. I pick up a shoe and just stand there. As they were still talking, I just put the shoe back and left.
