A good thrift store can be very hard to find but this Goodwill location seems to be one of the good ones. The store is cleaning well organized. There are more sections than I would normally expect in a thrift store including a dedicated small section for hospital scrubs - or a small section for maternity clothing exclusively. I believe that each day of the week they pick one color of price tag to be discounted. Today's color was blue and I bought three pair of cargo shorts - each of them with the blue tag - for a total of $11. The pricing was good to begin with but then saving an extra 50% is great. I don't know how often, if ever, I'll get to this location again as it is out of my way considerably, but if I ever find myself in this area I will be hitting them up. Located in a small strip mall on a major highway it's surrounded by other retailers. By the looks of the parking lot they were packed and I did have some concerns that it might be difficult to social distance (it was in the housewares so I just waited). I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and organized the interior was. While the racks were full they weren't stuffed and care was given so they hung on the hangers nicely. Linens were nicely folded and of good quality. While I did see a few sizing signs in the ladies dept for S and M, they weren't in every category of clothing and I had to physically scan the racks to find bigger sizes. Of the clothing I did see I didn't see any with flaws which tells me the sorting process at this location does a better job than most Goodwills. Housewares had the largest inventory and it was packed with people. Many items didn't have prices. Shoes also had a nice selection but no seat to try them on. The set of dressing rooms by the linens had a sign that they were closed but I was told they are always closed and there's another row across the store. There was an annex (think like the garden center at Walmart) through a door with signage for furniture but it was only a table or two of Christmas items and the space felt unheated. I will add that they had no carts inside and an employee went and searched the parking lot to get me one, so I think they're in high demand. A contactless donation center was also out front. If this location was closer I'd add them to my thrifting rotation. read more

If i could give this goodwill 0 stars i would. First off all this blonde haired red faced worker was coming at us the whole time. We are 3 women of color so when the worker didn't say anything to a group of white people I was thrown off. Also she basically kicked us out and yelled at us saying that "We MUST buy something next time we're here" which is absurd. The main problem was the blonde haired red faced worker and the old lady with grey hairs and hairy eyebrow. read more

I have been going to this good will for years and they recently stepped up there game, I came back after months of not going and was suprised how many great clothing items I could find. the racks were PACKED full of clothing, my friend and I (both from the younger demographic) found many items we just HAD to buy, items we refused to part with. read more

Goodwill is seriously out of control these days. The prices are high, the employees are rude, and now if an item doesn't have a tag they won't sell it to you. Do they actually want to make money? Do they realize that you can go to Walmart, Target, Banana Republic, Ann Taylor, etc and get NEW clearance items cheaper? My favorite is when something is new with tags and the price was actually less at the original retailer than at Goodwill. Always gives me a chuckle. Or when something is BROKEN, ripped, stained, etc. and they still want you to pay an arm and a leg for it. Recently I went to this location and attempted to purchase a hard goods item with a tipped tag. You could still see the price, the color on the tag, but the top half with the bar code was missing. They wouldn't sell it to me. YOU ARE PUTTING STICKERS ON MERCHANDISE! What do you think is going to happen? The stickers are going to get ripped. It's one thing if something doesn't have a tag at all - call a manager, get a price for it, and then sell it to the customer if they are agreeable on the price. But if you can still see the price on the tag? We seriously aren't selling those items because the sticker is partially ripped? Makes zero sense. The reason I shop here is to try to help the environment and reduce waste. It's really upsetting to see Goodwill jacking up their prices and not selling merchandise to customers. The 5th Street Goodwill has shown improvements since our past visit, but it is still kind of lumpy in terms of offerings. To point: the men's shorts selection is amazing, and the long pants are sufficient, but jeans, t-shirts, and dress shirts are virtually non-existant. For women, according to my wife, the selection is pretty good across the board for selection...but the men's selection is perplexing. Items are arranged by S, M,L, and XL. Logical enough. I was wary heading in tonight, as last visit was pretty bland; tonight showed improvements. Keep it up, 5th street! read more

I have been going to goodwills since 1977 with my mother in Miami. I can say this goodwill is a decent store. I have had some good finds here! I even bought a men's 14 karat gold ring here for $6.99. They constantly put out product. My only issue with this place is that they are like Nazi's if they see you browsing in the merchandise wheel cart that they bring out to re-stock the shelves! Every other Goodwill I have been at has never had an issue with the customers browsing and picking through the merchandise carts they bring out to stock. read more

The prices at goodwill are getting to be out of control. Anything with a recognizable label is marked up a ridiculous amount. Often, items could be found in store brand new for less! I've been shopping hear for many years now. A lot of things have improved. Everything is organized by category now and it makes it pretty easy to track something down, or at the very least, find the part of the store that interests you. I don't hit up the clothing section much, but it's leagues better than the average flea market. Most of the clothes are like, dress clothes for church or a job interview, so keep that in mind. Everything is sorted by size (s,m,l,xl etc.), so it's easy to figure out if the store has something that fits you or not. It's the type of place to take your mom to and just walk around looking at stuff, so I can't complain. read more

The store is fine..however, the sales rep at the register is insulting. She "accused" me of lying about NOT being a senior and insisted I was! How rude and disgusting can a person be? I am not a senior, and did not appreciate being told I was and that I was lying! She also insisted the person I was with was a senior too!!! We are both NOT seniors and don't look like seniors; how dare she call us liars! I will never go back to this store again. I also believe she is a crack head. Comes out from the back sniffing like she just snorted some coke or meth or something. Sorry, I am more than done with this place! read more
