A lady came on the phone with very broken English & said send me a picture. It cost lots of money to come pick up furniture I want to see first. Her response: U givin it away This is the height of disrespect not only to those donating. But indicates that there's greed so they can make big money's off of anything that they take in. I've only been in the store few times after my Trader Joe's visit and each time just shocked by the prices of used " donated" items they're selling. I've been into thrifting recently and liked the idea of finding bargains... but lately some places like this leave me disgusted in knowing that they are trying to over sell DONATED stuff. Like even the Rack and TJ maxx are selling items less than here and their stuff is New. I hope most of their profit is going to the cancer society, but even so it's still a thrift store and the prices shouldn't be that high.

The staff here is amazing and is a major reason why I come back-…read more but with this new boutique all of their good stuff goes to it and so there really isn't anything to thrift clothing wise, and when you do find something you want to try on they give you a poncho that who knows has had on before you and then you have to awkwardly change in front of everyone. If they have no problem charging $80 dollars for a shirt they should at least provide a dressing room to match that price/ service. Js

Hidden gem. Decided to check out this place and it was more than I expected…read more Located in a strip mall, parking was easy on a Saturday afternoon. Initially planning to check out one store ended up being 2 separate stores with the same name. The smaller store had so many nice items. There were figurines, artwork, dishes, A LOT of various glassware and more. And the prices were also good. The larger store was huge. This is where they have bigger household items. SO many different couches, chairs, dining tables, decorative rugs, etc. What I loved about these stores is that they were organized, clean, and have quality products for a good price. There's not much interaction with the employees at these places. The only one was at the smaller store when I paid for a purchase. Overall, good places for unique home decor.

She came in with…read moreher friend, and the employee working there was unnecessarily rude and made them feel uncomfortable from the beginning. My daughter politely asked if it was okay for them to look around, and the employee responded with, "Um, sure, but be careful because we're remodeling." What made this strange was that there didn't appear to be any remodeling happening at the time. On top of that, my daughter noticed that other customers who came in were greeted and treated normally, while she and her friend weren't given the same welcoming attitude. Whether someone is young or just browsing, they should still be treated with basic respect and kindness. My daughter left feeling like she and her friend weren't welcome there, which is disappointing. Aside from the customer service, I also think a lot of the items are extremely overpriced for what they are. Much of the merchandise seemed like random secondhand items or junk being sold at prices that simply didn't seem worth it. After hearing how my daughter and her friend were treated, I definitely wouldn't recommend this place. Customer service and making everyone feel welcome should be a priority.

We found this store by pure coincidence when we were in the area for a fun annual event in Carlsbad so we stopped in to see the clothes. In fact, my daughter was the one who had to come see because she said the clothes were so pretty she had to go inside the store to get a closer look. She wasn't wrong. I would definitely come back and shop more when my kiddos are in school. A nice addition to downtown Carlsbad.
