I went to visit and the owner was super kind and helpful! The selection seems locally sourced, well priced, and full of cool finds!

The selection is incredibly well curated, with the perfect mix of vintage, western wear, and unique accessories. Over the years, my husband has picked up some of his all-time favorite beanies here, and I've found everything from vintage Levi's to a fabulous furry purple jacket that still gets compliments. Every visit feels like a treasure hunt. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the owner is truly one of my favorite people. You can tell how much care and personality goes into the shop. If you're in Oceanside and love vintage, don't miss Ransack. It's a gem and one of our favorite stops every time we're in town.

While we were browsing, the lady at the front kept hovering over us as if we were trying to steal something. It was obvious enough that we actually started laughing about it. Combined with how incredibly expensive everything was, we decided not to buy anything. We did use the photo booth a couple of times, which has about a 3 and 1/2 minute processing time. While waiting for our photos to print and looking through them together, we sat on the couch. There was no one else in the store, and we weren't being loud, rude, or causing any problems. Despite that, we were rudely told the couch was only for customers trying on clothes. Didn't know the couch was a dressing room. It felt unnecessary considering we were simply waiting for the photos we had just paid for and were about to leave. The store has a cool concept, but the customer service made it feel unwelcoming. Greet every customer with kindness. Not everyone who walks into your store is out to get you.

I do not spend money or support local when I'm not treated with basic curiosity. Shame on you as a local business for not engaging customers who went out of their way to shop with you and not treat them the way you would want to be treated. Upon reading other unhappy reviews I see I am not the only one that feels this way. I also question the positive reviews because they seem to be for the connected store not their store. This store is out of the way even if you live in Vista. It was not worth the trip, will be not be back and definitely not recommending them. North County is full of locally owned, thrifted, vintage stores no one should waist their time with this store.

The shop is beautifully curated with a thoughtful mix of home goods, antiques, jewelry, candles, spa items, furniture, linens, mugs, coffee, and unique gifts you don't see everywhere else. The store itself is absolutely adorable and constantly evolving -- every visit feels fresh and inspiring. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality and uniqueness of the items. The staff is warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful without ever being intrusive, which makes the shopping experience even more enjoyable. I've purchased everything from furniture and jewelry to candles, towels, mugs, and gifts, and I've loved every single piece. Willow Tree is one of my favorite places to shop in Vista and a store I recommend without hesitation. A true local treasure.
