Been going to GW for Over Eight years Three weeks ago I was with a Biracial person at the moment I was told that I that to give my jewelry purchases to the Cashier. I went alone the next week, NOW this person has another employees yelling at me through the Store (OOH IT gets BETTER) so I'm leaving the employee runs out after me yelling at me. So my thoughts are that they think I am STEALING!!!! 1st of all (FYI) you steal for Customers EVERYDAY You don't pay for none of the Merchandise you sell !!! 2nd YOUR Employees steal All the time and so does the upper management !!!! So I don't have to STEAL because I don't need anything you HAVE. read more

Goodwill - Thrift Stores Near Me - Lincoln, Nebraska

All stores, especially the new one on 27th and folkways, are clean and neat with friendly and helpful employees, nice selection of things for sale at reasonable prices. read more

Prices were just raised at Goodwill across Lancaster County. Now I understand that inflation may require an increase in prices. However, to double, triple, or even in several cases quadruple the price of certain classes of items is unacceptable. I have been going to Goodwill's in Lincoln looking for books and records since I moved here in 2018. However, I have spent well over $2,000 on everything from model railroading items to furniture to electronic items that I saw because I went into the stores looking for records and books. But I will not return to Goodwill again because of their greed. Maybe if you stopped pumping the money to senior managements ridiculous bonuses you could remain a "thrift" store rather than a retail shop that doesn't have to pay for its stock. read more

A literal joke. I went in looking for "princess dress up" dresses for my daughter. I was looking at a trinket and noticed a garage sale tag on it for 75cents. only to see the goodwill tag of $5.99. Then, when I got to the princess dresses, they were also all $5.99. but completely covered in mold!! This company has always been a joke but wow. read more

First off this place is disgusting. Their organization is not great, and quite honestly I can say that their service is not fantastic either. I went to the drop off at 5:31 (a MINUTE after they close the drop off) and even though I heard someone scuffling around they refused to answer and I had to drive off with a trunk full of stuff. Kind of ridiculous that they close so early but also even more ridiculous that they couldn't have been decent and just taken the stuff after a minute. I don't get that. I thought that was super rude of them. Their stuff is extremely overpriced. This is donated JUNK. They also don't check the electronics to make sure they work, they just slap a tag on the items that basically say if it doesn't work then sucks to suck. I hope they close this place down soon. read more

That they no longer have fitting rooms as a punishment to their customers, because as they say theft was too high, is ridiculous. They overcharge, and are not in line at all with prices at other thrift stores, even when compared to more costly states like Washington and Colorado. Of course, those states' Goodwill organizations manage to have fitting rooms for customers, even as the COVID situation is winding down. The Goodwill organization in Lincoln is not reputable, not teaching employees valuable skills like customer service, and is disrespectful to customers, those who donate the goods to be sold, and to their own employees, by denying them work experience in a useful role that would lead them to have usable skills for mainstream employment. Someone from the overarching organization should really look into better managing the Lincoln Goodwill leadership. read more

I don't know why I even look at the lincoln goodwill anyway, they are all so overpriced. And it's not goodwills everywhere, Omaha is so much more affordable and better ran. Lincoln goodwill is just not worth going to, they want new prices for inventory that they have donated to them. They are not helping the community the way we are lead to believe. read more

Clean and organized. I love how it is organized by color. I was in from out of town and thought I would just hit up this goodwill to past some time. Found some cute tops, but I do hate how goodwill has become a pricier goodwill. I miss when things were $2 for tee and now it's $6 - all in all good store to shop read more

I used to love the Goodwills here in Lincoln but now none of them have dressing rooms and if something doesn't fit the best they will do is give you store credit. I don't need store credit if I can't make sure something fits right. At this point I would rather drive to Omaha to go Goodwill shopping... Their selection is better and they have ample dressing rooms. read more

Awful management, as someone who's managed a store myself they have no idea what they're doing. Super rude to customers, unorganized, and won't sell anything without a sticker (which means it shouldn't be out!). read more

A used, donated, dingy arm chair for *drum roll please* 129 DOLLARS! This is a thrift store people! They take advantage of donated items. Plus its dirty and gross. read more

I have been a thrift shop enthusiast for many years. I played along when all the Goodwills raised their prices a few years back because I love finding a unique something or other, and your stores have a huge selection. Recently I visited a location, took my clothing choices to the counter and noticed I was being charged an additional dollar for each piece. When I asked the clerk told me plus size clothing cost more. What? Why? And may I speak to a manager please. The manager went on to explain to me that it was their policy to charge a dollar more. It was standard in the industry. What? I understand that it may cost the manufacturers a bit more to make these items, but it is my understanding that everything is donated here. Feeling discriminated against, I left the clothes and called their headquarters, only to find out Omaha does not charge extra at their Goodwills, it is a choice made by the Lincoln owners. Omaha contacts said they have never and will never charge extra. I will never shop here again. read more

Larger store but many things are over priced and everthing is 99 cents or higher.
