A very busy store! But was being run very efficiently, and the employees were very nice. Prices are getting crazy at thrift stores, but that's across the board. Overall, great experience. read more

I don't buy your pitch that your prices are high to honor the donors supplying your free goods. If the donors thought that much of the goods they would have had a garage sale or took them to a consignment shop. I used to make weekly trips to see what was new, but no more. Stinking and overpriced (even at 50% off). From the crowd I saw last time I passed through I'd say P.T. Barnum was right; there is a sucker born every minute. read more

They're pretty overpriced in comparison to other thrift stores. Considering they receive many donated things. I don't see how they pay towards programs and services as they don't seem to be a part of various stakeholder groups, especially the disability communities. read more

the store had a nice selection of maternity pantsvin the maternity section but no ttops so I'm guessing they are out with the other tops. I wish they would have size markers for the racks and split the children's clothes by infant, toddler etc. I won't take time to sort looking for what I want. the kitchen stuff is overflowing and is a nightmare. I dropped a game off a top shelf and the cards all went flying. the game said buy me, so I did. I got several maternity pants and game. read more

The store was clean, the racks were neat, and the merchandise was well organized. The staff were pleasant as well.

I wanted to buy a kids stuffed chair and there was no price so I took it up and asked them to price it for me. First they said 5.99 then they asked a manager and she said $15.99. They do realize this is used stuff and they got it for free, right????? Goodwill used to be a good place to buy 2nd hand stuff. Now you are better off buying it new . It's cheaper. What a crock. read more

Friendly staff. They seem to have new stuff all the time. Everything I've ever bought has been in great condition. Great prices. Great place, no complaints. read more

Went there was gonna purchase $200.00 worth! They declined American Express! Offered to go to ATM close by... Manager was rude and said NO! The manager called me a crippled bitch and They threw me out of the store! A worker man handled my son that was helping me since I'm in a wheelchair! read more

Disappointed. Went to purchase a backpack and found one that I loved, but the cashier refused the sale. She refused the sale because in her opinion it should have been more expensive. The bag was marked $7.99. read more

The absolute worst goodwill in Lincoln, literally every single item is crazy over priced

I like the selection here and you can get some sweet deals on clothing for 99 cents on the last Fri & Sat of the month. Lots of stuff is overpriced ($8 for a pair of raggedy boys' jeans), but I just go when it's cheap and plan for the crowds. BUT... they got rid of fitting rooms due to problems with theft. And it's not just this location, folks--ALL Lincoln Goodwills got rid of their fitting rooms. Too bad, elderly and disabled shoppers! Too bad, anybody with any kind of body image issue! Too bad, anybody who wants to shop without having to navigate around women stripping down to leggings and tank tops in the middle of the aisle! (This was actually suggested to me by an employee.) There are plenty of other thrift and consignment stores in town. Until Goodwill brings back fitting rooms, I'm taking my business elsewhere. read more

Shame on you goodwill! This is the most overpriced store I've ever been in. We are in the Midwest for crying out loud. Most of the stuff can be bought new for cheaper prices at The Dollar Store! Please remember you get the stuff donated to you for free. I will not be back. read more

Way overpriced on most items. Some staff not friendly. I avoid this one. It has a good variety, but I can buy some of it new friends for the same price. read more

Last summer I was in this goodwill and another shopper punched me in the back. We booth saw the same item and went for it at the same time. I got it and put it in my cart. As I was pushing my cart away the person punched me in the back. The manager Beth actually kicked me out of the store saying that I hit someone. I said that the lady hit me in the back and she said she watched the store video and I was being dishonest. I told her that I DID NOT TOUCH THE WOMAN and asked to see the video. She refused to let me see it and kicked me out of the store. I did not hit anyone nor would I ever hurt another person. Beth the manager has some real bullying issues and cant keep employees. I have shopped the goodwill in Lincoln Nebraska for 30 years and never had a problem...will never shop at or support the Goodwill in Lincoln. read more

Goodwills are weird, they price everything too high, most stuff is dirty or broken, you can go to a Dollar tree and get most anything Goodwills have for a buck, why would I pay $3.00 or more for a a bowl that came from the Dollar tree. Unless you can get there on a Fri. or Sat. end of the month clothes are too much for used stuff. One Goodwill the employee was tossing stuff in the garbage, it was beads and I asked if I could pick out some things before she tossed it and she said no, she would not let me shop. I walked out and have not been back since. read more

I grew up shopping at thrift stores. In the last 10 years or so, they have really kicked it up a notch, especially Goodwill. No longer are you greeted by a smell that you can't quite place when you walk in the door. This particular Goodwill is clean, well-lit, and packed with all kinds of treasures (as long as it's your lucky day!). However, the prices here seem to have been defined by someone who has never shopped. You could go down the road to Target and find comparable prices for kitchen ware. Clothing is priced higher than a Target clearance rack, which, if I'm gonna wear some clothes that someone else has already washed a million times, I really want to feel like I'm getting a bargain. As you peruse the aisle and contemplate a $30 set of mixing bowls, you will most likely hear what can only be described as giant boxes of dishes being dropped from a 30 foot height. "What is going on back there?," you will wonder to yourself. Various shoppers may look up in alarm, but after a while everyone seems to accept it as a totally not-weird thing going on in the back room. It seems surprising that they have any breakables for sale on their shelves when they seemingly drop everything between the donation door and the sort pile. They have a fun selection of purses, furniture, knick-knacks, and board games. Just don't go in expecting a bargain and prepare yourself for the sound of your carefully packaged donation hitting the floor with irreversible consequences. read more
