Mostly clothing, almost all at 50% off marked price. A handful of shelves with housewares. Huge store if you have time to pick through.

Go somewhere else, anywhere else because their prices are too high at this store, the prices here…read moreare even higher than what you will normally find at any other ST. Louis area Goodwill!!!! Knowing I will have to pre-clean items before use, I don't mind if the used price is realistic/reasonable but they are anything but at this store. Home Depot sells their brand new 27 gals Heavy Dutty Tuff Storage containers here for $11 Dollars each! This Goodwill store had three of the exact same 27 gals Heavy Dutty Tuff Storage containers in a very used and extremely filthy condition for $10 Dollars each. They were so dirty it would cost me more in personal labor and cleaning supplies than to buy the same thing brand new (*crazy*). When I politely asked to speak with Mgr (to kindly point this out/make a counteroffer) the people behind the counter laughed in my face when I explained why. It was no surprise the Store Mgr never came to the counter to speak with me, their customer service here reflects the prices. I know all of this because my Dad taught me to be a Super Shopper and I regularly shop at most of the area thrift stores in the Greater STL area (on both sides of the river). As of late, I've been looking for used storage containers since Biglots recently changed their normally low-priced storage container prices to astronomically unrealistic levels higher than I would pay for the same container at Target (by the way their prices are now better than Walmart's on for a decent-sized storage container).

However, I had to take the items home to try them on and bring back anything that did not work for us due to Goodwill does not allow you to try on the clothes at the stores any longer. Before making my purchase I asked the clerk if I could return the items at other Goodwill locations and her reply was yes, keep the tags attached and have your receipt. So Sunday 9/8/2024, after church, I went to the Hwy 67, Florissant MO location because this location was closer then traveling back to the Belleville IL. I had two large bags of clothes to return and as I walked in the store instead of getting greeted with a hello, a female clerk said, "Are those donations?" I said, No, they are returns". I tell you, if looks could kill. The clerk said come around and get in line, so I did. When I gave her the receipt and started pulling the items out she started mumbling under her breath. I said, "Excuse me, I can't hear you?" she said, "These item are on THIS receipt?" I said, "Yes". The clerk said, "This is $447.29 worth of items". I was a little confused by the statement and said, "Well, I'm not returning all of it. Maybe half, I'm not for sure". She said, "We can't refund this much back". Still confused I said, "What do you mean? I was told you will take anything back as long as the tags are on and I have the receipt." She said, "Yeah but we would take a loss. Some of these items shouldn't have been put out on the floor. They have spots on them and we wouldn't refund this much for another store. You may need to go back to that store. I would need to call someone." I said, "Ok, can you go call someone to confirm that?". When the clerk came back she said she needs to take pictures of the items and then she said it depends on the amount" as she started mumbling and complaining the whole time. I said to her, "You know what, don't worry about it, I'll go back to the Belleville location". I told may son to put down the items he wanted to purchase, as I was NOT going to buy ANYTHING from that store and left. Went back to Belleville and had no issue at all. The staff was very nice and did not have an issue returning 28 out of 77 items totaling $158.56. This is just a side bar: One week prior to this incident, I went to the Fairview Height, IL location and spent $162.12 there and Sunday after returning the items to Belleville I made another 62.84 dollar purchase there. I will NEVER go back to the Florissant MO location just because of the BAD Attitude this clerk had.
