They shouldn't put useless broken items out on the sales floor. My 91 year old mother bought a Mr. Clean self wringing sponge mop this afternoon(3/18/24) that included 2 replacement sponges. She assumed it was a functional mop in good working order. It appeared unused. But when we got it home and we're examining it to assemble the sponge onto the handle we discovered that one of the squeeze bars was missing and the bracket that was designed to hold that squeeze bar in place was broken on one side. I rushed back to get there 15 minutes before closing time and approached the cashier who rung my mother's sale up. He stated that the Goodwill's policy is no returns on anything but clothing and that the tags must be still on the merchandise. No cash back, no store credit,....nothing!!! I've been to several Goodwills in the tri-county area and have had cashiers point out to me a flaw or damaged merchandise that I had intended to purchase prior to completing the purchase. This Goodwill has,I quote... "...a strict policy on returns and there are no refunds on any items but clothing..." My advice is BUYER BEWARE when purchasing items from this Goodwill in Saline, Michigan. They sell you damaged goods and refuse to make good, in any form, a defective item that should have not even gotten out on the floor for anyone to purchase. read more

This used to be my favorite Goodwill. Would always leave with treasures of some sort but I'm convinced that this place is dying like all the other Goodwills. Empty shelves, crappy clothes, overpriced books. 5 dollars for children's hardcovers!? Pretty soon shelves will be filled with dollar store junk. Prices are high for what they have. Which is mostly junk, and yet so many people donate beautiful items, which you never se to see on the sales floor? They don't honor their own exchange policy for merchandise. Their receipt is printed that you can exchange clothing within 7 days , they wouldn't honor that for a clothing I wanted to exchange. Don't waste your time or gas money to come here. The prices are very high and the selection is very sparse and mostly junk. They have a few nice things in the case at the front like a new sealed Unnatched: Battle of Legends board game but the mark up was so high I just decided to buy it on EBay for the same price. The video games you can get for better condition and cheaper on EBay or vintage game shops. All these price markups compared to a few years ago and they still pay their employees a garbage wage. Why is Goodwill making so much more money now and they can't pay their employees more? Greedy. read more

Wouldn't sell me an item that didn't have a price on it. I asked for a manager to price it and was told no. The cashier said other people usually take a tag off another item. I was trying to be honest but thanks for the tip. Jtlyk. read more

The guy at drop off is really rude. I keep giving him chances, thinking maybe it was just a bad day. But four times now and he's been rude each time. It's close, so it's convenient but I'll be going somewhere else next time even if I have to drive further. read more

This store is probably one of the worst resale shops I've ever been to first of all the manager is totally incompetent does not know how to do her job. Apparently you have to tell them beforehand if you would like a receipt because if not they don't print it and then you don't get your points for the clover app which is absolutely ridiculous of course everybody wants a receipt. And then when you ask them to print it out afterwards they can't they have good items at the store but they're normally overpriced if it doesn't have a price on it don't even bother you might as well just throw it in the back where you're never going to see it again because they won't price it for you until a week later and then it'll be lost in the back just a ridiculously dumb store and manager and brunette with shoulder length short hair the cashier super snotty. read more

This place just doesn't thrill me, but then different strokes, right? It might have just what you're after. Some of the clothes definitely looked used, but there were almost a dozen of the same purple flower waffle shirt, in different sizes, with the original tags and stickers, as if a for-profit clothing store had donated unsold merchandise to Goodwill. That must be how they get a lot of stuff, because I saw a shelf full of Aussie hair care products and a stack of Armor All gift boxes. I love thrift stores. I can get some great clothes for about ten percent of the original price. But I did not find anything that I simply *had* to have. Only about three shirts got me to stop and look. So I did not buy anything, but I scoped out the place for others. Enjoy! Furniture, housewares & games (see my photos): I saw a decade old but still serviceable Crock Pot for $8. I have one just like it at home that I got off the curb, labeled "free." So I did not bite. I'm not planning on serving any massive buffets any time soon. Books, CDs, VHS tapes, DVDs: I did see an incomplete set of Harry Potter books, a Lord of the Rings trilogy still in the shrink wrap, CDs that I'd never want to listen to ... same with the DVDs. But if I took the time to really look, I might find a great book here. Dressing rooms! I still find it very handy to carry a tape measure so that I don't have to actually try on everything, but the dressing room would end all doubt. Maybe I'll start to like this place if I stop in more often. Time will tell... read more

too expensive in certain towns. In stead of investigating Walmart and the dollar stores and fining them for overcharging customers, check out some of these thrift stores. Non profit my !!!!, somebody is profiting. Had 2 different female employees from goodwill stores be rude. They better go sit down somewhere!! read more

After giving them 2 stars last fall, I had to come back and tell you how Goodwill saved my Christmas! The selection and service were great. I scored things like a Christmas snow globe, a huuuuge bag of plastic Army guys (with tanks and trucks), an anime book and so many complete outfits for each of my kids. I'll definitely go back. read more

honestly this place is just okay. it's short staffed and overpriced. best days to go are friday, saturday and monday when they put out new items. i rarely find anything good but the employees are very nice. read more

The place is clean. That's about all I can say. Prices are high to the point of silly, and that's even compared to other Goodwills. When I was there, there was one girl running the whole place, and she kept disappearing to the back. Nothing older than about 1980, so forget about that buried treasure here. Items that I know came from the dollar store were priced $4. I wouldn't suggest shopping here unless you are filthy rich, and if you were, why would you be shopping here? read more

I used to like this store when they first opened. However, in the last year their prices have skyrocketed. I went in this week and they had bags priced at $300-$500! Yes they were designer brands but at a thrift store! Donated items! Very disappointing. Most name brand clothes are individually set at prices you will pay for new sale. read more

This shop had more overpriced items than I had expected from a thrift store. There are a lot of items new donated from Target which is cool, but the DVD/CD collection is pretty good and about the best priced items here. The housewares consisted of a lot of boxed items that were older but still with some sticker shock. read more
