Rating this 4* highly for the amount of stuff they had at decent prices. Staff are umm, there. Present, that's about it. They will answer questions... no more, no less. I have had more pleasant customer experience elsewhere. For example, I asked what's the sale tomorrow? The staff replied, "I can't tell you that." Only later did I see an ad on the door it said $1 Sundays... not sure why she couldn't offer me this advertised info. Perhaps she assumed I'm asking for the colors... then I hope they don't assume the worst in their customers like what the other reviews are saying. It is organized... and disorganized... what I mean is I can easily find general categories (ie Kitchen, clothing tops, and scrubs, etc.) but once I'm in the specific section, the items themselves have no organization (ie not by size nor color) and are piled / randomized in shelves/ racks. So prepare to have some patience for some treasure hunting. Having 2 discounted colors each week helps with the turnover rate for their inventory. They are also part of https://goodwillnj.org/ & their IG is of the same name @goodwillnj. Thus they also have the same color discount system as S. Philly's Goodwill. For the Saturday of when I went, there was a 50% sale on 2 color tags. Apparently, a Dollar Sunday for 2 colors are also advertised. You can either bring your own bag or buy their Goodwill reusable bags. I did find some good items (ie air fryers) and will donate and visit again in the future.

What a steal! A fan for my daughters room for $6.99

Loving the new location! Friendly staff, and very clean and plays good music while you search for deals! First time in this new location after me and my mom were talking about coming here since it reopened over where the old Rite Aid used to be on Bustleton Avenue. We weren't really looking for anything but I walked out with a bunch of sweet finds ( mostly things for my daughter). I found a Lasko fan for a whopping $6.99 and it works!! Now she can stop sneaking in my room cause her bedroom is too warm, with her own fan. That was in the front of the store where we also found a Crayloa dry erase board/chalkboard- there was no price but when I got to the counter the woman said it was only $2.99-- yes please! She can practice her cursive on it!! Sweet deal! Browsed a few more isles and picked up a few khaki pants and a khaki dress for my daughter for school to add to the ones I had already bought a month ago when I went school shopping- yea I know I'm early! Then browsed the DVDs and found some goodies like My Little Pony and Care Bears for my daughters room- the DVDs were in good condition and were only $1.99!!! What a bargain! Grabbed a few nice blouses with tags on them still from Kohl's and Target for job interviews and made my way to the front counter where I had a chance to take advantage of the military discount- of 15% off which saved me $12! So happy we finally checked this place out. Oh and I found a huge Barbie airplane my daughter has been asking me for, for the past 3 years for only $6.99!! She's going to be so surprised when I show it to her tonight!

I visited this store location on 5/24/19. I actually anticipated coming here to this location because I haven't been here in years. I used to come here a few years ago here and there when I was treasure hunting and I wagged up an antique dresser set with the matching mirror piece...hmmm now that I think of it, that was in 2013..sheesh. All-in-all this is a pretty solid location. They had a nice selection on furniture displaying a matching couch-love seat and single chair set, variety of dressers and coffee tables, another range selection of a few different sized couches. on this particular day, they offered Minimal dishes, a range of collectible dolls, lots of prom dresses and wedding gowns, pocketbooks and board games, a few descent looking toys and of course your regular articles of clothing and shoes with no shoe rack. The shoes were placed along the aisles on top of the clothing. My cashier was Linda and she was pretty nice, I purchased a cd and she reminded me to open it up to make sure that the actual CD was inside the case and to my amazement, it wasnt in the case, so thank you again to Ms. Linda for bringing that to my attention.

Service was poor .. to non-existent. Selection was so/so & poorly displayed. Value was fine for a Goodwill Store.

With the pandemic, I don't know if this event runs any more…read more My friend V. loves thrift shops and what she calls 'treasure hunting.' Having grown up poor and being forced to wear way too big, tooth achingly ugly winter coats from Goodwill that I'd 'grow into,' hideous polyester button down shirts that a pimp wouldn't touch, scratchy, pill-y wool sweaters reeking of camphor, high water generic blue jeans and summer shorts I would not put on a dog in a clown show, I assiduously avoid things like this. V. was insistent that I would 'go wild' over this flea market because 'it won't be like anything else you've ever been to!!!' I had my doubts about that but you make concessions for friends. We paid our $3 entrance fee and strolled around. Most of the vendor tables had things that were of no interest to me; old playing cards, glassware that was (presumably) collectible, vintage tattoo flash, old silver plate and older, tarnished sterling silver tableware, racks of *shudder* vintage clothing and shoes, most of which had seen better days. There were some well curated tables of antique jewelry and antique beaded bags at very non-bargain prices and a few tables of what I can only call culled pieces from cabinets of curiosities-moth eaten taxidermied items and non-p.c. tourist trash. For the most part, the vendors we encountered were bored seeming or down right rude. The people watching was far better than anything for sale. After 2 hours here, V. bought a very large, ornate dusty rose colored tassel. I asked what she planned to do with it. Her response? 'Do you want it, Warren?' Uhh-that would be NO. I bought nothing. V. wanted to take another spin around the place so I opted to go out to her car to sit and read, telling her to take her time. Another 2 hours passed. She returned empty handed, other than the tassel, to the car. Would I go back? Nope. Should you go if the flea market opens again? It's $3 and maybe an hour or 2 out of your life. You could spend that time and money in worse ways.

This Goodwill is huuuge!…read more Even on a busy Sunday, staff here are pleasant to interact with. (Considering that customers are rushing for deals & some leave behind hangers &/ or a mess). I had a lovely convo with Ms. LS & Danielle. Sunday is when their 1 out of 2 tagged color sale change and when it's $1. There is no upper price limit for when items become $1. There are a total of 5 colors: red, yellow, green, blue, & purple. There are occasional holiday colors ie orange for Halloween. (Sunday warning: expect lines to be long... possibly 10min wait & lots of regulars/ customers on this day. I highly encourage taking clothes off their hangers while you're in line to speed things up. Also expect a long line 15 mins before Goodwill opens on Sundays.) Otherwise, 2 colors are 50% rest of the week and ends on Saturday. Sunday is a new 2-tag color sale cycle. Ie: last week was green and blue This Sunday is: red and blue, where green is changed to red. Blue is consistent for 2 weeks. They also have an IG you can follow if you want to know the colors of the week the week of before going to the store. IG: @goodwillnj (The name... I know, even though it's in PA haha, but it's part of the NJ section.) Items are organized by category, and I'm not sure if by size later, but not by color. Prices seem to be generally standardized within category with some deviations from the normal... please see pics. I believe. Will update next time with more accurate observation. It is located in the huuuge Whitman Plaza reachable by the buses 47/57 & there's a free huge parking lot. So if you're hungry from shopping, there's an AYCE KPot Hotpot & Korean BBQ restaurant franchise nearby. Would most definitely visit again :) Prob the best Goodwill experience I had in Philly so far!

You can't miss the HUGE colorful mural on the outside in the parking lot, but the RE itself is on the right side. Conveniently located by a 3 bus stop as well. I was in the market for some postcards and other papercraft supplies and brought some scrapbook paper I knew I wouldn't use with me to donate as well. The staff was very nice and organized. After seeing the true breadth of all of the various materials sold at the RE, I will definitely bring more miscellaneous craft stuff with me to donate next time. Have to make room for new stuff! I was able to purchase some postcards (they were 50 cents each or 3 for $1), a container to hold some of my other materials, and a set of Dublin stickers, all for $15 flat. Cannot stress enough how AFFORDABLE stuff is. In general I would say go in to look around and not want anything too specific, especially on a busy day like a Saturday, because it was a bit crowded. But they had materials truly for all typees of crafts: fabric, knitting, sewing, painting, papercrafts, jewelry, woodworking... as well as larger materials. Really affordable and hope to get the word out about this place! There are two gender-neutral restrooms located in the lobby of the building as well as part of the shared space.
