Goodwill is a for profit business. They operate on the public's ignorance. They treat their employees like trash. They aren't paid fairly. They are over worked. Items of value that are donated are shipped to their online store warehouse to be sold for an extreme price with ridiculous shipping. A lot of the clothing donated goes in the landfill. You aren't helping your community by dumping your items here. Local independent shops are much better to donate to. They help the community and they keep costs low to pass that on to the people who need thrift store to survive. Goodwill has started pricing items to retail prices or above. It's ridiculous. Support your local, independent thrift store! Goodwill isn't it. read more

well take lots of items to this location but with their limited space to send a portion of the surplus to less fortunate locations. so if you donate and do t see it in the store be assured it was sent to other locations. read more

I make the trip to this store from just south of Detroit because the prices are usually reasonable and they have a weekly tag color sale. These perks do not apply to the Detroit area stores, where the prices are ridiculously high, and for whatever reason they ceased having color tag sales when Covid hit (SMH). This store is clean, and the interactions that I have had with the staff has been positive. If this location was larger, with an expanded selection of non-clothing items, I would rate this thrift store as 5 star. But hey, the store relies on receipt of material donations from the community, so it is what it is. read more

I have purchased so many things at this Goodwill. They have a lot of commercial products there alot of times. I only wish it was bigger so they could put more product out. I get (new) baby clothes, toys,bedding , teen and adult clothes, furniture, dishes, pots and pans , personal hygiene, tp, toothpaste,shampoo, garbage bags,sandwich bags,furniture and so on. All of those things are from their commercial deliveries. The donated stuff, it goes quickly as well as their commercial stuff. The prices are the best around. Love the staff. From clerks to managers, always friendly and helpful. I have been going to this store for at least 15 years. read more

This store is over priced and has no where near the amount of items it used to have. The over abundance of junk they have is nothing more than Target's old clearance, open boxed, and salvaged store returns. So your gambling whether something works or not. And to top it off they have a ridiculous return policy which is store credit only, and you have 30 days to use it. Even if its their fault, they stick by their policy. I recently had an experience where I bought something and they (Goodwill) had sealed up the packaging where I couldn't actually see the contents inside. No "As-is" marking on it whatsoever. I get home and found out what was inside was an older outdated model that someone stuck in the new package. I took it back and they would only give me store credit, which is useless to me since I can't find anything worth while there anymore. I could go on and on. Beware of this place!!!! read more
