I noticed the inflation years ago, it deterred me from shopping here. I give it another try here and there, but I always leave knowing it's overpriced. Vintage items are worth the prices, but someone really needs to audit the items here! I remember when they would close for the summer & would reopen with everything being 10¢ for a week! Liquidate, restock, and price things how they should be tagged. They will learn you sell more items this way & will have more room for new items. It's Monroe, not Los Angeles.

They have created a large cat habitat in one corner of the store with toys, scratching posts and cat TV. There are also several cats that roam the store. In addition to the resale items they offer a large selection of handmade animal products including t-shirts, bandanas, magnets and catnip toys. Friends of Companion Animals also holds a few events like a Halloween Spooktacular dog walk. While this is not the best thrift store I have ever been to, we always take home a few good finds whenever we visit. Also you know the money is going to a great cause!

The store is actually pretty big with a big variety of trinkets, books, and other things to purchase for really great prices. There cause to make sure cats arent homeless all over the streets and have a great home and family is just a spectacular cause. Cats are always the first thing to go if theres a probelm and people usually just throw them out because they dont care. Its nice to see people who actually really care about these animals. I will be donating my time and any financial help i may be able to give to this place and there wonderful cause.
