First of all, do not try to shoplift in the spot because they will catch you. Second of all, this…read morewas one of the best Goodwill I have been to and the selection was great and the staff were wonderful and I'm certainly making a trip here next time I'm in Miami.

There's a thrift trend going around all over social media . So I dragged my boyfriend along with me…read moreto check out this " trend " was met with a goodwill with no A/C and a horrible selection of clothes that are literally scalped daily by the brickell flea market vendors . So you will not find anything worthwhile I was met with scoffs , eye rolling and deep sighs when asked to try on what WE COULD find . The attendant working the dressing rooms yesterday from 5-7 pm was EXTREMELY rude and spoke down to my boyfriend who doesn't understand Spanish, I understand Spanish but I can't speak it . So I directed him to do as she unpleasantly waved her hands and grunted towards us as if we were peasants Mind you there were 6 changing rooms and a long line of people waiting with no AC in the stuffy venue . And she only operated 2 rooms at a time . Horrible attitude unnecessary eye rolls . And attitude , how are we to understand you want the carts lined up a certain way if you're scoffing and not speaking English to my European boyfriend and I can't translate because I'm not around . EXTREMELY rude . If you're unfit to speak and direct people properly go to the back and work the sorting bins . I didn't even realize she was rolling her eyes and using her body language to joke about me not understanding her grunts to the other people in line at me until we got in line to check out and my boyfriend informed me . CHECKOUT . Was fine because I understood that they wanted to sell us a bag and kept saying bolero and my boyfriend was confused so that wasn't bad I was there to help the process . We've traveled all over Europe and Asia and they at least try to speak English with you especially when they know you don't speak the language. However the employees were scoffing and acting as if we were in Bergdof Goodman and giving us just nasty attitudes over goodwill clothing . Wouldn't recommend. Horrible selection , horrible attitudes Spanish speaking or not , it was unpleasant and I have a good understanding of empathy and compassion, and kindness . Don't expect that here . I thought I was shopping at Chanel wearing a target PJs for a second while I was in this goodwill with all of the negativity . OVERALL . Horrible selection here . Horrible attitudes and an unpleasant environment, don't expect AC .

I'm a big fan of the Coach brand, so when I saw on Instagram that Flagler Vintage acquired a huge…read moreselection of vintage and Y2K Coach bags, I had to check it out. For this haul, Flagler Vintage auctioned their selection through a live bid on the "Whatnot" app, rather than selling the stock in store. I had never used this app before but found it super easy to use and got a credit for my first purchase by joining through an invite through Flagler Vintage. Shirley, a team member with Flagler Vintage, has been managing multiple shows on Whatnot to auction off this massive inventory. Her work ethic is really impressive, managing multiple late-night, multi-hour shows many days in a row. She is honest in her showings, being diligent to point out any issues with the bags and being transparent when she may not be sure about the answer to a question but crowdsourcing and researching information on the spot. All bags have started at $1, regardless of style or condition, so nice to see Flagler is not trying to artificially inflate prices on any bags. She has a positive and open attitude, especially being supportive of others to promote their shows, which helps to build a positive bidding environment and community. One thing I will say is sometimes planned shows either are cancelled or very delayed. Some have even started hours early. Appreciating these shows run late at night and Miami has been having stormy weather, it's totally understandable the plans for shows might be fluid. Just a little communication somehow to subscribers planning to attend would be great for people to be able to plan. I was lucky to win two different bags (funny enough, one is a Dooney & Bourke - a few of these slipped into the Coach shows). The bags arrived super fast and tracking through the Whatnot app was painless. I was so impressed with the condition - they looked even better in person than on the show! One was a bit dusty inside, but a disclaimer was made that all bags would need some level of cleaning, so this was not a surprise or issue. Really enjoyed my online experience with Flagler Vintage and looking forward to visiting their brick and mortar in downtown Miami!
