It was so much more inspiring (to me, at least) than places like DWR or other stores in Miami where everything is brand-spanking new (and devoid of soul.) Now, let me be clear: These are not rock-bottom prices, but when compared with some other vintage stores in Miami, the prices are reasonable. It is a consignment shop and things have been 'found' already. You'll pay accordingly. We saw some great, one-of-a-kind art, lamps, large case pieces, wrought iron chandeliers, and a 6' driftwood sculpture that made my mouth water. In addition, the store was clean and didn't give me that "I need to wash my hands' feeling. We spoke with the owners who say that the merchandise turns over rapidly, and we'll definitely keep our finger on the pulse of Midtown Consignment. After all, you never know when that special piece of funk you never knew you wanted is going to show up.
