This place is HUGE and there are so many incredible things. The downsides are: 1. No card, only cash (there is an ATM) 2. The line is usually super long 3. Some things (certain name brands) are priced VERY high. Some furniture too Overall, I really did enjoy my shopping experience. This is a great thrift store!!!! I always recommend it to my friends! Every time I go, I find great stuff! The store is HUGE and there's no way you'll be walking out empty handed. Some things to note though: 1. The store ONLY takes cash. I once waited in line for over 30 minutes just to realize they only took cash. Had to turn around and go home. 2. Speaking of lines, the line does get very long. It takes ages to wait. If you bring a friend, let each other take turns waiting in line as the other one scopes out other items. This is part of a chain of thrift stores that has 22 locations across the country including in Florida in North Miami, Jacksonville, and World Thrift in Lake Worth. This store in Hialeah is located in the historic Flamingo Plaza along with several other thrift stores. These stores are for profit thrift stores meaning they are not directly affiliated with any charity. They claim to help charities by purchasing items from them. They are also keeping items out of the landfills and offering low cost items to people who might not otherwise be able to afford them. The more I visit this chain of thrift stores, the more I love them They are huge, cheap, and have what I like. Everyone else likes them a lot too so the lines can be very long with the longest lines being in the Lake Worth Store. Also like the Lake Worth store, this location is CASH ONLY. This store has a ton of clothing and accessories but I don't have the patience for that. Their shoe selection along is larger than most department stores. I gravitate towards the housewares. This visit I found a vintage Pyrex bowl for only $3 in the extremely hard to find Gooseberry pink. I also found three ramekins in the Old World Green Temptations pattern I have been collecting. Only $2 each! Every store I have been in has vintage Pyrex pieces and Temptations along with so much else. I just love going to this thrift store. You have to go early and with a lot of patience! I always start in the kitchen/dishes aisle. You can find amazing items for $2-$5. There's other thrift shops literally doors down from this one that I usually go in.. I decided to give this one a try the other day and I WILL NEVER IN MY LIFE AGAIN GO IN HERE!!!! First and foremost they are very deceptive... the store is very huge, yet all the signs of what you NEED to know are only placed by the registers which is at the front of the store by the entry doors (your back or side is turned to those signs unless you are going to the registers to check out .... which you're never facing) then the signs are very freaking small (like the size of two license plates put together FOR A HUGE STORE. SECONDLY compared to the other thrift shops near, they have all their things taped closed so you can not even see what your getting fully. There was a box with chess on top but it had a bunch of drawers that seemed to be multiple games boards (sort of like a three games in one box) LITERALLY tape wrapped around so the drawers could not be pulled out to SEE ! Atleast LABEL items people can't INSPECT!!!! Not only THAT don't have something in your hand looking at it too long because the tape is keeping the item CLOSED so you cant fully SEE BEFORE YOU BUY!!!!! Because their workers will watch you like a darn HULK , walk up to you with a finger out saying "don't open it"... I literally had to tell them IM NOT A CHILD....... They only accept cash, no refunds nor exchanges... yes you can't fully inspect their taped up / unlabeled things .. you have to wait until you purchase and go home like I did and guess what? I ended up with a train set that does not work.. so in my opinion they are not worth it So to sum up... go to the thrift shops near by.. this one is bigger but THATS ALL. read more

I been coming to this store for the past 15 years and prices use to be reasonable cause it's used clothes and now the prices are way high , the store used to be organized and everything easy to find now it's a mess. This new management does not know how to keep things in order . And the hours have change they even work on Sundays . They put specials on ticket colors that do not exist . They need to give incentives and give better discounts cause don't forget that this is used clothing. I used to love going there not anymore . Do not recommend . Go to another one. What I learned yesterday, is that I do not have the patience to go through everything when I am not looking for something in particular. For the most part, some of the staff was nice. I'd appreciate a little more english speaking ones but whatever. I do not like the fact that there is no fitting room. I'd gone to a goodwill once that had a fitting room and assumed that all thrift stores had that. Also to me somethings were a little expensive. I mean it's a thrift store. The point is to have cheap prices. Things shouldn't be priced based on name brand. There is no reason why pieces in the thrift store should be $19.99 simply because it's a name brand. I love coming here when it's empty but that's only in the morning. This is my favorite thrift store because there's a variety of things. From clothes (including extra large which it's not too hideous) to furniture. Compared to Ross the prices are awesome! And their 50% off everyday on different colored tags is great. The only reason I can't give this place 5 stars is because they don't accept credit cards, and there are no fitting rooms. I just bought my "worst half" Timberlands that aren't at all worn down and they look brand new for $25 whereas they're originally $120. I've spent $100 on just 5 shirts and 3 pants, maximum, whereas @ this thrift I bought myself 12 shirts 7 pants and a pajama also my "worst half" got 8 shirts, and 9 pants for $98! The parking lot is big with decent space. There's a winn dixie in the same shopping center and also a McDonald's or family dollar in case you shopped till you dropped and wanted a snack, cause why else would they be there :) read more

This is a thrift store where you won't find many things except for clothes. Things here are cheaper than even Ross and Marshalls. The area is downtrodden (hey, it IS Hialeah!) and the people who comes here to shop are mostly poor and there's also a lot of chongas - fat cuban ladies with a lot of make-up, loop earrings, and power-brows. You catch my drift. So don't come here looking for much glittery glamour of South Beach or even Miami. Really, I didn't intend to review this place at first. I had wanted to review Flamingo Plaza, which is the entire strip mall full of thrift stores, and this store is one of them. The huge parking lot is almost always nearly full because the people in Miami knows that this is where you buy things on the cheap. The two most popular cheap things here are clothing and furnitures. And they really do have bargains but, from my own personal perspective, there isn't much worth keeping or buying. But that's the same kind of perspective I have toward other thrift stores as well. If you're a bargain hunter and want good deals for random cheap things, then this is the place to be. read more

I visit this place twice a month. Looking for bargains on goods like a/c filters, lawn and garden tools, etc.Usually for items involved in some home project . Last few visits witnessed people arguing close to violence , each with shopping carts loaded with electric saws,drills, air painting guns,compressor hoses,shovels,rakes,hachets,etcetc.The regular person is marginalized by internet resellers hoarding goods. Obviously prices have increased ,and the lines to pay are beyond Walmarts. Now if the line is greater than 10 or 15 shoppers I walk out.Also not sure if what I saw was drug dealing, but these two guys exchanged cash and a clear baggy of what may have been maybe saccharine back in the area where the music CDs are. This place is getting crazy. Store is TOO CROWDED. TIME TO CONTROL THE ENTRANCES and number of people in the store. Wouldn't be surprised if a mass shooting occurs in there. read more
