Ive been here multiple times to donate and the service it's really bad at the donation center door the people over there they're always rude, they don't help you to grab everything expecting you to do their job receiving the donations and put them inside. Last time I was there i dropped newborn baby clothes and other stuff and I asked one of the employees nicely if they could do me a favor to throw the baby bouncer that they didn't want to accept and take it to the trash can next to their building literally a few meters away from the door because I had my baby in the car by himself and couldn't leave him alone and he said "No" and just left me carrying the rest of the stuff to their door. read more

Was driving by and happened to stop in. I did find a heavy duty plastic wash tub that I have been looking for and it was less than $3 with the Memorial Day discount. I usually don't go this way so it's a wonder I even saw the place. It is a very clean and pretty organized place though. Parents don't pay enough attention to their kids, but it's the norm everywhere. read more

You find wonderful items at these stores, especially if you have time to seek, but the pricing is ridiculous. They had a dress priced at $49.99 and turned around telling us to come back on Monday when that colored ticket would be at $1.29, seriously? Another time at a different location, a large clay flower pot at $100 dollars! Again, seriously? This makes me decide not to shop there unless I have the time to look for those colored tags that are on the weekly special. read more

Prices have gone to ridiculous heights in the past year and a half. New prices on used stuff, and selection has gone down. Occasionally I can find a book worth buying, but clothes and housewares are priced at leave-it-on-the-shelf amounts. Maybe Goodwill has gone through an administrative shift? If you're in Cruces, there are excellent little thrift stores all over town. Maybe give this one a miss. read more

Sheesh...as far as bargain clothes hunting goes this is the most expensive thrift store I've ever been to. I was browsing through some cute shirts that cost around $5 used....I could just go to Ross/Marshalls/Kohls and get something new for that price. Anyway, they sell brand new Target clothes with original Target tags on them. Today, they had a whole rack of clearance bikinis, brand new, never worn for $5....great find! They've been pretty consistent with their Halloween costume selection. I go there for vintage stationary and home stuff. If you're into bargain holiday decor, they've got it...as of today. They're alright but I'm not sure why they price clothing so high...I'll still continue looking for lost treasure here anyway. read more

I have been going to Goodwill on main street for 9 years Usually once a day and have probably spent over $10,000 at this store over that period of time. The majority of the managers at Goodwill I have dealt with over the years were pretty reasonable and would negotiate a little if something needed to be repaired or was incomplete. Recently I asked manager Joe to buy an irrelevant cord they had for a Bose speaker that was useless to anyone without the other components they were not selling. I was pretty disappointed and put off that he refused to sell it to me? Have tried to buy other items that were broken or incomplete on more than one occasion he would not negotiate. You would think after the amount of business I have given them, they would be willing to make a small accommodation. They have lost me as a customer until they change management and their pricing policy. I am sure they could care less about one customer ( bad business) No customer loyalty! Don't waste your time at this store they have raised all there prices close to retail and will not negotiate. To me a thrift store means a good deal not retail prices. You are better off at buying at Walmart. read more

My very favorite place to go. The staff here is excellent. They are always friendly and helpful. I love finding great deals at this place!! I always check here before I go to any other store for the chance to find a deal. On Monday there is 25 percent off of your purchase. I have been able to find so many things that I need at such a great price. I would totally recommend this place to anyone. read more

Don't shop here.i saw some employees out back doing illegal drugs.they are overpriced.they overcharge you if you aren't paying attention.the employee at the register even had traces of white powder on her nose. read more

Wow.... these people should be ashamed! I went in looking for a used dresser and all their furniture is priced exceptionally close to what new stuff costs. That's amazingly disgusting considering most of what they get is donated. Once in a while you can find something nice, but most of the stuff is overpriced as hell! read more

For the six years I lived in Las Cruces, NM the Goodwill store has been clean, orderly, pleasant and efficient for 4 1/2 of those 6 years. The past 1 1/2 years this Goodwill, one of your newer stores, has diminished in quality, including the cleanliness, orderliness, and pride of the store. It does not meet up to Goodwill standards, the employees are pleasant but lack leadership, and I no longer can enjoy a pleasant shopping experience because I am dodging items on the floor, trash is everywhere, items are all mixed up and it's impossible to find anything; even the glass top of the jewelry case is completely scratched. Also, we need a separate new building to train employees. This is a good, proud town and I assure you it is worth the cost and time to bring this store up to standards, spend the money to spruce up things, and again, build an employment center. I have been a Goodwill shopper for many years in different towns, and I am now ashamed we have a store like this in my town. Not only does it lack any kind of quality shopping, it reflects badly on our town, and badly on Goodwill. Thank you so much for your attention to this matter--really, so much!!! Seriously!!!! If you can price a pair of donated shoes at $25 I may as well go buy brand new!! As a Goodwill shopper in many different places I am shocked at the prices.I agree that you do good for people but who does your pricing? Dillard's? Macy's, does someone have the specific job of researching every item that is donated to determine it's value??? The prices are out of control! Maybe people that donate should second guess donating and sell it themselves. For being a "Thrift" store I can only laugh, you may occasionally find a bargain only if the internet researcher was off that day!! Who are the one's getting the "bargains" it is certainly not the customers!! read more
