Our GC contacted the management team, and they graciously credited twenty broken tiles, which amounted to a $2,100 credit. I would like to comment them for being honorable in regard to their customer relations. I am giving them five stars.

She made an appt for us to meet with one of their in-house contractors (915 Prestige) for estimate on Monday Feb 10. Thought we found the perfect place until the contractor arrived and then went downhill from there. Estimator appeared to be in a hurry, and didn't take any measurements. Before leaving he stated estimates would be sent to store designer who would then contact us for project cost. I ensured that he had our correct contact info since he stated the designer didn't provide our email. I then returned our borrowed tile samples on Thursday Feb 13 and to follow up on estimate status. Informed designer was out to lunch and left my name and phone number with store staff. As of today, Wed Feb 19, have not heard back from either store designer or contractor. At this point I have engaged other contractors for the project due to lack of follow up with us. Experience has left us very disappointed and takes them out of contention for any future projects.

They've also got stools for flipping the bargain bins, so us old guys don't need to kneel or kill our backs! Prices were very fair, and Edward was very friendly and awesome to chat with. It's upstairs above a brewery/coffee shop in this super cool, historic area tucked right under a bridge. The whole setting has that moody, artsy night energy -- outdoor seating, live bands, vendor events -- total creative hub vibes. Now, the shop itself? Unreal. The owner helped me pull together a full vintage look -- outfit, jewelry, everything -- all within my $100 budget (seriously!). He was so kind, helpful, and just totally got my vision. They sort millions of pounds of clothing a month and tend to work with regular repeat customers. If you want to buy small quantities of vintage, then you should be working with a rag house that sells small lots online like http://www.raghouse.com, or with a smaller reseller like http://www.bulkvintage.com Rag houses sell in bulk, by the pound, usually by the bale. Their business model is not set up to work with the occasional small buyer who wants to hand pick grade-A vintage. If you want that, then deal with a reseller who buys from rag houses and sorts for you -- if you don't like the prices then go back to Garage Sales and Thrift shops. Anyone that works with rag houses on a regular basis for 70s-90s vintage clothing will find Mid-West textiles to be the absolute best in terms of organization, pricing, and quality. If you're looking for 100lbs of 20s dresses, you're not going to find that anywhere. My wife has been working with rag houses for 15+ years and she's never found a rag house as organized and professional as Mid-West Textiles. Their vintage staff is topnotch and the owner is hands on and heavily involved in the vintage department. You won't find that at any other large scale rag house.

We drove 12+ hours one way to purchase vintage clothing and they were supposedly sold out of every type of item we were looking for. For a company that claims to cater to the vintage market... I verify that is complete b.s for their system would only be beneficial for very large scale buyers in foreign countries. This would never work for a small vintage boutique, which they so claim to cater to. They lead you to believe that there is a 50 lb minimum, yet they fill some bins with with 75+ lbs in which you have to take/buy the entire bin. The bins are filled with about 75% crap and 25% decent grade. All in all, the person in charge of the vintage department, who in fact looked like a creepy goon, treated us like we were beggars on the street because we weren't purchasing 10,000$ in crap. Horrible and disheartening experience.
