If the food could be used to help those in need, great! I made my way to Extended Hands early. There didn't seem to be signs posted as to where to drive up, although in all honesty, I wasn't really looking. I found the door and thought "great! Easy!" However the woman inside the food bank was very unfriendly. She told me I was in the wrong area and that I needed to pull my car to the back. Struggling with my heavy box, I thought, 'really, lady? Okkk', but then she opened the connecting door and yelled that I was here and that I had brought a box of food and asked the people on the other side if I should leave it or drive around. The other people were pretty nice and said I could leave it. I had a smaller box in the car and I was actually going to leave it, after the encounter I had with the elderly woman, but someone asked if I had any more food and I replied. A younger gentleman came out to my car and took it off my hands. After the unfriendly encounter I had, I don't think I would come back to this food bank. However the people working on the other side where the drop off is, were nicer.

Got a BUNCH of great stuff today and few of my items were half off. Prices great here anyway,…read moreeverything seemed to cost $4-8.00 or few of men pants were $12. I tried on 8-9 pants of men and women cuz I had to get a pair of khaki for a work thing. I got an $8 pair that had half price color of the day so it was $4. Everything I got was only a couple bucks and all nice stuff. 2 travel cosmetic bags, small purse super cute and I'll post pics. They had a lot of great belts, actually leather. Lots of dog harness and dog items. It's a great store. THEY ACTUALLY HAVE 3 dressing rooms so you can try stuff on. Thankful and grateful cuz I was there an hour trying on every khaki pants I could find. I wandered thru the buy by the pound fenced off section and everything over there looked newish, clean, ironed. It's a really beautifully selected curated store. It's a definite must stop in.

It's 2025, and they still don't take credit or debit? Really? Even more baffling, they can't even look up your eligibility for a free dump pass as a resident . with all the tech and computers around, how is that still an issue? And let's talk about the trash all over our freeways, have you seen the transfer trucks? They are always loosing trash and seem like the main reason our roads are littered so badly. It's frustrating to see so much potential for improvement just being ignored. Time for a serious rework, Phoenix.

We decided to check out this Goodwill during their 50% off system wide sale. This is the first time…read moreI had visited this location and similar to other outstanding locations in the valley, this location is very well organized, clean, and well lit. I mostly focus on men's clothing, including suits, shirts, ties, and belts, and this was a excellent location for those items. This Location had an abundance of really nice suits by some really top line brands. I'm talking about finding not one but two brand new 100% cashmere suits. They also had a top notch selection of sports coats including a seersucker that I was really torn about not taking with me. I've been looking for a full seersucker suit for a while and just haven't found it yet. They have the full array of both men's and women's clothing, housewares, sporting goods, kitchen wars, etc.. They also had some furniture items, including a couple of love seats and couches. This location also had more bikes and sporting equipment then I am used to seeing. I also did some shopping for my Lady and she joined me vía FaceTime. She found the shoe section to be really lacking. But again I think their inventory was pretty depleted from the 50% off sale. Also, I noticed that this location separates women's suits into blazers and pants vs other locations in the city group women's suits together where there are full sets available. This made it near impossible for me to shop for my significant other, but the women's clothing section is 2X, the men's clothing section. So ladies definitely will enjoy this one. Also, shout out to the management at this location, especially the Homie Rick. He helped me out by correcting a suit price that was initially priced as two separate pieces. I have had this happened to me quite a bit and I'm not complaining because I understand how hard it probably used to sort it through donated clothing and matchup suit pants with suit jackets but it is definitely appreciated when management goes the extra mile after I have already spent good time sorting through the pants to find the matching jacket!

If the item doesn't fit in your vehicle you have to find someone else who can pick it up for you or forfeit the item. In our case we had no one to get it for us and it was too large for our car. Once we discovered there was no one who could help us with this, we had to forfeit the table. We were unable to get a 'FULL' refund because the staff in the back room kept our receipt. We could only get part of our funds back. So not only did we lose the table, we lost part of our money to Goodwill. Now they get to resell the table and pocket my money. Free. To them. We tried to suggest we come back in the afternoon to speak with the guy in the back who helped us and kept our receipt but we were told it was policy. Never again. Don't get scammed by Goodwill. They don't care of they keep your money or not. HORRIBLE!
