So when we were in the market for a dresser for our child's room, I stopped in. I could not even believe how much they were... think $200-300 for a USED, DINGED UP, SCRATCHED, (missing hardware in some instances). Occasionally there was a "50% off" tag on items but they still ended up being like $150. For this cost, I will be going to Homegoods and buying a NEW dresser. The only thing I could think of is that many people like to buy cheap furniture and paint it and sell it for $$$ and this would discourage that... but it also would discourage low income families to purchase furniture. But... on my way out, I checked out the clothing prices and these were just as insane. $8.99 for USED shirts. One was literally a plain Gildan T-shirt with an "S" ironed on it... $9. WHAT IN THE WHAT?? The pricing is CRAZY. Don't low income families shop at thrift stores? How can they afford it here?!?! I will NOT be back. Isn't this place running off DONATIONS. It seems criminal to be selling items they got for free for so much.

Normally, if a store is really busy or recognizes me at least before I leave the store, I don't let it bother me. But when I'm one of a few people in the store, there's an abundance of staff, and I'm in the store unrecognized for a long time- I start to feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. I actually placed my donations in my trunk thinking I would drop them off to another no profit organization besides Goodwill because over the years I've heard stories that Goodwill is no longer pricing items to help customers, but the other place I was thinking about--I didn't know if they were accepting donations this particular day. On my way home, I so happened to go to CVS that is near this Goodwill and saw they were open. It was really cold this day, so I was still going to keep the donations in my car, but upon leaving CVS, I just thought it was ridiculous to keep that stuff in my trunk when the donation center was right there, so I stopped. Really quick drop off was greeted and assisted with my donations and even asked if I wanted a donation receipt. Although I declined, it was nice to extended the choice. Remember this is a donation center, so only donations come here, but it's nice to clean out my garage and make room in my house and bless somebody else with things that no longer serve me purpose.

Everything is clearly marked, priced fairly, and the inventory rotates quickly. I love to stop by on their special store-wide 50% off discount days and check out their dish-ware and women's blazers sections. You never know what you're going to find which makes the visit all the more exciting. They also have a great system to donate items. Pull up to their donation truck in the parking lot and an attendant will assist with unloading your items and providing a drop off receipt if requested. Great service!

We searched for a place on short notice and found this place who give to the women shelter. This was the right place for us so we donated and made someone Christmas.
