I had never been to a Savers before and I just wanted to check it out. I didn't realize it was just like a Goodwill store, and they resell donated items. It was a fun adventure day. Service was just okay. They only had one staffed register, and 4 self service registers for check out.

While I did see employees stocking merchandise, there didn't seem to be any dedicated to assist with questions. That said, if you need help just ask whoever you come across. The prices were overall good, but not as cheap as other second hand store (ie; Salvation Army store). In total I spent $28.81 for 4 items (pictured). While using the self checkout register, I noticed there were paper bags (only). However, it looked only my station included a few sheets of newspaper as well. Guess I was lucky because it came in hand for wrapping my fragile item. As I headed out, I also noted they had various sized corrugated boxes, which can be good for carrying goods. This was my first visit to a Savers and the experience was good.

The employees are welcoming and nice. There's always an employee there that takes time to stop and dance with my three year old and to talk to her. It's nice... They're not a big store but they have a variety of things. I did some digging. Most of their profit goes right back into the community and funds local food shelves. They will work with you if there's something you need and can't afford. The staff is knowledgeable of programs that offer aid to low income, disabled, or single parents. If they have extra donations it goes to homeless shelters and half way houses. They're take almost all donations. They even take blankets that have stains or are worn out for animal shelters. Now, the downside. It's a small cramped store. I wish they had more wiggle room. Everything is dirty. They don't have the funding or enough volunteers to prewash clothing but will wipe down certain objects like knick nacks or toys. Because they have limited space you may not find a ton of baby clothing or toddler clothing. They open at 10am. Which is a little strange. Overall a little dust is worth an entire library at very cheap for my daughter. Plus, I know it goes right down the hall into the local food shelter to help those that need it.
