The store was clean and well organized. There was an abundance of artwork and kitchen supplies when I went. There was a decent amount of furniture, but not much in the bed and bath section. While I did see employees stocking merchandise, there didn't seem to be any dedicated to assist with questions. That said, if you need help just ask whoever you come across. The prices were overall good, but not as cheap as other second hand store (ie; Salvation Army store). In total I spent $28.81 for 4 items (pictured). While using the self checkout register, I noticed there were paper bags (only). However, it looked only my station included a few sheets of newspaper as well. Guess I was lucky because it came in hand for wrapping my fragile item. As I headed out, I also noted they had various sized corrugated boxes, which can be good for carrying goods. Actually was pretty lucky finding clothes here. And a nice chair. They don't do returns. And there no fitting rooms. So make sure you are confident on what you buy. They do have a 14 day exchange policy but you need to make sure the tags are on the items or they most likely won't take it back. Overall it was a good place to browse and great prices on majority of the clothes I purchased. read more

Their case of silver jewelry is laughable as they have the same stuff in there as they did 3 years ago. What is their game plan? Also where is the gold? Do the employees just steal it? I've been here about 3 times. This store is so sketch. The prices are ridiculous at $2.99 for records and compact discs (cds). Mostly tacky ceramics and knick knacks. Halloween items were skimpy. The kicker is the sign in the women's bathroom where normally used mentrual products are disposed of. I had to take a picture because it was hilarious. I have brought four carloads of donations for Savers in the last year. The first three went great. The fourth time they had a busy day and were overwhelmed with stuff in their garage. I didn't mind waiting but when I got to the front the staff were so panicked about being busy that they were just yanking stuff from my vehicle and taking no care to ensure that the stuff did not scrape my interior on the way out of the car. I had to tell the guys to slow down and be careful. This should really be part of their training. read more

I understand that you have overhead that others may not think about but the prices on some items, well they make you look like a bunch of A holes. That along with the broken, overpriced items you knowingly sell. Example, a Sony tablet that had the screen completely shattered and no proprietary power cord to be found anywhere, 30 bucks. Its garbage. I showed it to an employee, watched them walk off with it then put it back on the shelf. Knowingly selling destroyed unreturnable items to people is sick. Especially if you came by the item through way of donation. 2nd example, 45 dollar fossil watch, I was told by your employee that all the watches need is a new battery, looking at this watch one of the hands is clearly detached and just floating around. I showed it to the employee, made a comment about how the watch should be trashed, fossil watches are not that expensive to begin with and 45 used is just dumb. He agreed with me then proceded to place the garbage back into the display case. Another non returnable item, another malicious deceptive business practice. There is a line, you crossed it twice. The security guards are lovely & the prices are fairly decent but I had a very unpleasant & unnecessary experience because of Maggie (manager* with gray hair). On 6/1/24 at 10:15am, I went to make exchanges from a recent purchase. They don't have fitting rooms or returns so my options were to waste money or exchange the stuff that didn't fit. I let the security guard know why I was there & headed over to the registers. Maggie's (manager* with gray hair) immediate response was "we do exchanges?..." My immediate thought was oh- maybe she's having a rough shift/day but the store had opened 15 minutes ago. I explained how to my understanding, I was eligible for a same day store credit because it was within the 14 days. I asked if she wanted to see the receipt which explains their exchange policy (I'll include a picture) and she refused. Then she told me that I needed to find the new items first. Given the bag of already-bought Savers clothes in my hand, I asked her if she could let me know how much said store credit would be. She said no. I said okay, I can go do the math in my car & she questioned whether I still wanted to make the exchanges. I repeated that I needed to figure out the store credit amount & put my purchased items in my car. I would have felt uncomfortable shopping with my already purchased items in the cart so it made the most sense to me to do the math & just leave them in the car. Fast forward to checkout, with my new finds only. The same security guard (the sweetest) let me leave my cart by him so I could go get the exchanges from my car. The cashier was lovely and when I told her that I had exchanges, she knew the drill! The cashier had to flag a manger* down because there was some sort of exchange code to be put in. Shockingly, said manager* was Maggie who obviously recognized me. She did not make eye contact with me as she easily punched in the code. It was baffling that she acted like she wasn't the one who gave me a tough time earlier. To this day, I still do not understand why she questioned my initial exchange request if she's seemingly a manager. Maggie almost made me want to crawl out of my skin & I'm not sure why she put more energy into trying to argue than doing her job. read more

I've visited this Savers a few times over the last year or so with my sister and we have a fun time shopping there. The store seems relatively clean and shopping carts are a great help with the shopping selection experience overall. We enjoy the hunt for nothing in particular, and finding treasures for ourselves and family members. We're bargain hunters, first and foremost, but appreciate the many items we encounter that are of excellent quality and corresponding higher prices. You'll always find surprises at this store. There's so much to see in such a large space, and it seems to be well-organized. And in general, I think their prices for used goods are fair. Our most recent visit kept us there for nearly 4 hours before we finally went through the self-check outs (only available option) and exited the store with our shopping cart piled high (they don't provide free bags). read more

Pretty big Savers that must have just opened in Woodbury. The store is pretty big and clean so far which to me, screams that it's new. It hasn't been ransacked with stuff laying all over the place and thrown everywhere. This one is actually quite organized. Found another i pod charger and some birdies for badmitton. All of their Halloween costumes were 50% off. However, I think I'll wait until they are even cheaper. They are still kind of pricey for being half off. read more

This used to be one of my favorite thrift stores but it's kind of disappointing me recently. The prices don't always make sense - like charging $12 for an H&M dress (that probably cost $15 new) and $15 for a Madewell dress (that probably cost $60 new). Obviously I'm not complaining about the latter but it would be nice for the pricing to make more sense. As well, they need to be a little more careful about what they put on the floor - I've found multiple gems and then realized they had a stain, a broken seam, or a tear. read more

If you are a thrift store lover, Savers can leave a bad taste in your mouth for a few reasons... 1.) The prices are inconsistent. I didn't say high, because sometimes you can score great deals on virtually the same brand, season, and style of a particular garment, but one item will be double the price. It's frustrating to say the least. 2.) The way they have the clothes hung makes me want to SCREAM. It's not shoppable AT ALL. As a retail major who had to study this kind of stuff every day in college, I wonder who the heck decided to make the store harder to shop! The pants are hung as to fall off the hangers and the tops are hung so they're facing backwards and it takes forever to flip through them. 3.) They tag the clothes in places that make you scratch your head. The last time I was at Savers I scored and found a pristine $180 sweater. That sweater was tagged through two spots about three inches apart on the back of the neck possible compromising the fabric on the back of the neck. I asked the cashier if that was a standard practice and she confirmed that it was sometimes used. 4.) They make you donate more to get more of a discount on your purchase. Goodwill gives you a 25% coupon for each donation, Savers has a volume based donation discount system...which leads into my next point... 5.) They've gotten the attention of the MN Attorney General for for how they handle their charitable donations. Not only does this Savers have a really convenient drive-thru donation center, which I use almost every time I go... but they also have some of the most organized and quality merch of any Savers location. It's not as cheap as ValuThrift in Sunray, but this Savers is now at the top of my east end thrifting list. I can't tell you how many things I have found at this Savers since they opened, but I'll try: -J. Crew sweaters and cardigans. $6.99 -Nude-colored Banana Republic silk blouse that looks just like what my friends pin on Pinterest these days. $4.99 -1960s wool winter coat in PERFECT condition. $19.99 -Amazing bright green silk blouse from the 1980s that I wore for about a month straight when I first bought it because I love it so much. $4.99 -Mango puffy long winter coat with a faux fur-lined hood, also in perfect condition (p.s. Do they even have Mango in the US yet?). $19.99 -1970s (or 1980s?) sheer patterned secretary dress with the original belt. $5.99 -Bright purple mini skirt that'll be in heavy rotation this summer.. -1950s-style black wool wiggle skirt that I wore to Yelp's Drive-In. I haven't had as much luck here with other departments, but I think 1/3 of my wardrobe is now from this place. That's gotta be worth five-stars. read more

Terribly rude employees, mediocre selection. I have been frequenting this Savers looking for odds and ends on my want list...and this location is always disappointing. The staff varies from friendly to downright mean and very oblivious to customers. I find things here and there that I like, but the employees make me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. My husband tends to find a lot of clothes there. They also have a good Halloween selection with new stuff, but overall, Savers like most thrift stores is overpriced on many items. read more

I found this place driving to Goodwill in Woodbury. The clothes are actually organized and in better condition than garage sales or other thrift stores. The prices are just a TITCH high for thrifting for me, but being almost brand new I can't really complain. Especially since they offer coupons and sales! This will be where I go shopping from now on.
