If you like finding namebrand items and then checking the price seeing how much it's been overpriced and then putting it back on the shelf, you were going to love the store! If they know what it is, they are going to overprice it. Guaranteed! Absolutely frustrated with shopping there today. Complete waste of my time. I would give this one star, except it has wonderful staff. As you are shopping and getting more and more frustrated, remember that the person at the checkout does not price the items. read more

I was told this Goodwill had a super good selection of merchandise, since it was in Chesterfield. Since I was going to the Premium Outlet Mall, I thought I'd give them a shop. I will admit, the location is really off the beaten path, I thought my GPS was malfunctioning when it was telling me where to go. It lead to me a strip center, that I had no idea existed. This Goodwill was next to a Build-A-Bear. I'll admit, this Goodwill was large, well organized and extremely clean. I only found one short sleeved shirt to buy. It was a good value for $9. I was hoping for more name and designer brands and the majority were off brands I'd find at Marshall's or Kohl's. The staff was friendly and moved the line quickly at the check-out, making it a pleasant shopping experience. Now that I know where this Goodwill is, I'll try to stop by when I'm going out to the Outlet. Just like a TJ Maxx, you gotta shop frequently to find the real bargains. read more

Among St. Louis Goodwill stores this is the "Gucci Goodwill." You'll find more upscale labels here than other area thrift shops because the surrounding residential area is fairly affluent. (Even the wealthy don't want to drive far to donate their castoff clothes.) Sure there are plenty of Target, Walmart, and Kohl's labels but you'll also see more Joseph A. Bank, Brooks Brothers, Nordstrom, and Victoria's Secret tags. (More....though not an overwhelming number.) The secret to deals is shopping often. It's easier now, too, because Goodwill is finally arranging clothing by sizes. read more

I like to thrift and this is a place that I visit. The store is well organized and full of treasure just waiting to be discovered.

One of the better Goodwill locations in the greater St Louis area. Clean clothing, mostly generic brands, but some nicer stuff. Lots of housewares, toys, linens, etc. I found a tank top and a chrome basket for a total of $5. read more

Was on the hunt for a simple, minimally chic short sleeve oxford button shirt for work purposes only. Tried Walmart and couldn't find what I needed; besides all the tops were over my $6 budget. Dawned on me that I was next door to the best shop in the nation....GOODWILL! Walked in and found exactly what I was looking for in 5 minutes flat; for the low low, $3. The only thing that could have made this a complete steal; the shirt on sale because today was 50% off red tag items. read more

I typically head straight for the housewares section. Old glassware, picture frames, candy and serving dishes. So much more! I LOVE thrift store shopping and usually find a neat trinket or two to take home. Today was no different. Mom and I were headed to the Old Spaghetti factory for lunch and Dress Barn nearby for shopping and took a detour to Goodwill. Mom got a super cute skirt for her upcoming Mexico trip and a tea cup with an infuser included. I got some small glasses that are perfect for after dinner drinks. Or as mom said, for a cat party with our kitties, lol. We could fill them with that milk especially made for cats and toast them. What a funny image. Anyhoooooo...I also got some adorable mini planters. The clothing is nicely arranged by size and color/pattern here. Helpful employees, clean store. Don't forget to donate those old clothes and toys sitting in your garage or basement! read more

Hit or miss, but found some hidden gems in the form of three pairs of vintage mom jeans. score!

This store was clean however, when it comes to organization, they are very lazy. I've been to Goodwill's across the country. Most of them have their clothes organized by size and they have signs on the rack telling you what is on the rack such as "women's pants ""men shirts", etc. This store just puts everything on the same rack by color. You're on your own after that. I wanted to shop more however, going through every piece of clothing of every size on the rack only to see what I like isn't even in my size is very time consuming, disappointing and frustrating. I would have stayed and shopped more and probably bought more had they've been more organized. The staff, when you could find them, were polite. When I first got there, I attempted to use the washroom. The toilet was filled to the top and was about to overflow so I went looking for someone to tell. I stood at the front desk for a while with the lady that was also looking for some kind of assistance and was there longer than I was. This isn't a horrible experience, I'd say frustrating and disappointing, I'm spoiled by the way other Goodwill Stores organize their stores and the abundance of staff. I won't be back to this Goodwill, I simply don't have the time to dig through every article of clothing hoping to find my size. On the positive side, they went bagless which I respect and appreciate. read more

So we are walking around the store for a little bit before we check out and my wife sees a purse she is interested in. The purse is behind the counter where a chick and some guy is talkin, neither one of them not once acknowledged her. She said excuse me a couple times and the Silverback never turned around. Even after she got done with her conversation did she acknowledged us so we went get checked out from the other young lady. I tell the young lady what just happened and she shook her head and said that's the manager. I know it's only Goodwill, but my couple dollars is making your rent for the next month. The customer service at some of these places suck gorilla ass that's why I'll never donate to the Goodwill anyway. They need to train them on customer service (not all of them). Every time you give one of these little lost lace front, no edges having, dusty feet, sugar skull shaped chicks a position, they get real uppity like they own the place. If she was a manager I would hate to see what the general manager would do. read more

I don't know what is going on with Goodwill but the stock in the stores seems to be way down and what is there isn't very organized. The staff was more interesting in chatting than asking if a customer needed help or even picking up and organizing something. This has been my experience at two different Goodwills recently. I now use other Thrift stores for my needs. read more

I love Goodwill, and have been a loyal shopper for years. This location is nearest my new home, otherwise I wouldn't bother shopping here. I think my expectations are reasonable - I know thrift stores aren't going to be glistening and filled with high-end merchandise. This location is pretty bad for a Goodwill. Filthy floors look like they haven't been swept (much less mopped) in ages. Disorganized merchandise and a just plain neglected appearance. Clothing isn't clearly labeled and household items are just dumped on shelves. Hopefully I've just been there on bad days, but after three visits, I think that's just the way this location is. read more

I'm always a big fan of saving money where I can. Goodwill helps me do that! I'm from the generation that appreciates random and cool t-shirts, no matter where they are from. This includes pre-owned clothing as well. I like browsing through the t-shirt isles looking for a local sports team jersey or a random t-shirt. I also like looking through the CD and movie section to see if there is anything from the 80s or 90s that I would appreciate and gladly pay under $1 for an album or movie. I also like to check out the furniture section to see if there's anything that I (or one of my friends) can use at school. We're not too picky about what our furniture looks like, just as long as it has a use. Another thing I like to do is check out the old electronics section. Although each time I look, I feel old seeing unused computers and VCR players. I don't think I've ever asked for help at this or any Goodwill location before, so I'm not sure how helpful or unhelpful they are. I am also proud to buy things at Goodwill because they have a work release program and are a non-profit. This location also accepts donations! read more

This location used to be very fair and reasonable but for some reason they now think they're an antiques/retail clothing store. Any item that's somewhat decent is marked up astronomically high! Attention Goodwill: You aren't professional appraisers, you're a thrift store and you're defeating the whole purpose, which is for your customers to save money. Too bad I can't go back :( read more

I have been going to this goodwill since it opened years ago. Today took a return in dated last Thursday feb 27th. Today is also a Thursday, March 5th. The counter person and the manager tried to tell me condescendingly that it was 8 days ago. I have been returning things a week apart for years. They did do the return, but acted like they were pacifying me . They could have used their brains and figured out that there are 7 days in a week and apologized to me. They treated me like I was a problem customer that they were merely managing. Not good customer service. read more

Wow what a find. I was in the Chesterfield area and thought I'd see if there were any thrift stores I should check out. I decided to swing by this Goodwill and I was very impressed. I will admit that it took me a little while to find it but it's next door to the Humane Society so that's great. As for the actual store, I wasn't really impressed with anything except for the clothing. The furniture was mostly old and there were only like 3 shelves of books. Lots of homeware- mostly meant for the kitchen. Going back to being impressed with clothing, I got 4 sweaters and spent $10. Going through the clothing racks was awesome because it was mostly high end brands for super cheap. Worth a shot to check out this Goodwill location. I'll be back! read more

Just spent the day visiting Goodwiil Stores in St . Louis. Bought quite a few things at 6 other locations, then had a terrible experience here. My son brought a box of what was labeled Legos to the store clerk and asked if he could open them because they were $150.00. The elderly lady clerk said don't worry I watched them check all of them and if you find one piece that is not a Lego you bring them back. We went outside and opened them and a fourth or more were not Legos. We went back in and she screamed final sale! $150 for an item mislabeled. The principle is she lied and when we confronted her for lying she called Bill the manager and he said final sale and would't talk to us! I guess she wanted the sale bad enough to lie with a smile, Do not go to this store! read more

Although the selection is excellent, the pricing structure is so much higher than other Goodwills in the area. Why pay $6-9 for pre-owned shirts I can find down the road for $3. The staff is not the friendliest and the lines are incredibly slow here.!!! Expect to pay more here and waste more valuable time...Try the other Goodwills in the area!!! read more

Was driving by and thought we'd take a quick detour here. We found it clean, organized (except for the size thing which makes me crazy), and well stocked. There were several (3-4) younger people working there who were chatting a lot amongst themselves but the 2 cashiers were friendly and helpful. My daughter found a bunch of clothing and I came away with four pieces so it was a good find! Prices can't be beat. read more

I came here looking for something cheap for an arts and crafts thing I was putting together. I bought this queen sized sheet that I thought could do and when the African American girl rung me up I noticed it was cheaper than the sign said and thought maybe it was on sale. When I looked at my receipt I noticed it was rung up as a twin size sheet. That's why it was cheaper. In retrospect I thought about going back and telling them because that's dishonest. But for a few bucks difference on her error was it really worth it? read more

Every time I go there with my friends the prices are higher. And we've been going once or twice a week for 3 years. This is not the good ole store it used to be because the prices are out of hand. Just because some items have Designer Labels, irregardless of what the item is or what shape its in, its marked up drastically. The company is doing it's best business in the history of Goodwill and just like all the other Money-Grabbing American companies, (and this one gets ALL IT'S MERCHANDISE FOR FREE THROUGH DONATIONS), they RAISE their prices!!! Well, my friends and I will take our business elsewhere. No wonder everyone is buying online. read more

Store has completely gone downhill in the last year. Really messy, disorganized and have to wait and wait and wait to check out. Not fun to thrift shop there anymore... read more

First of all, I have not noticed this location to be any more clean/dirty or disorganized than any other goodwill and I have been to most of them in the stl area and some in several other states. I have never noticed an issue with the labeling of clothing here, most clothing actually isn't labeled, there is a flat price depending on the type of item and there are colored tags on each item for days when a particular color is on sale. Sometimes the dressing rooms have some clothes in them that someone left in there but there is only so much control over catching clothes quickly everytime someone leaves them in there, that happens even in department stores. I have never had an issue with any of the employees and there have been several women employees that have been very friendly in particular. I like to stop at the bubble tea place on on olive on my way here. It is kinda a routine when I go since it is the only time I really have to go that direction. read more
