If you don't stumble across it, like I did by hitting the supermarket it shares the plaza with, you'll never know about them. Maybe they like it that way. As the name implies they focus on furniture. The assortment is typically nice to average. Way better than your typical Goodwill or Savers, not as nice as others. The people who work here are very nice. They had an overdose of now-boat-anchor armoires that they were practically giving away but for sofas, chairs, art etc pretty nice. They do have other stuff like books, CDs, brutally overpriced vinyl, kitchenware, but prices are good to crazy. The place is cavernous so a good look around will get in your steps. Again if you don't save a note to remind yourself to visit you probably never will because they're almost invisible. If I hadn't been cleaning out desk junk I wouldn't have remembered I had kept a receipt from here. I have meant to go back but forgot the name and searching for thrift shops is pointless on this place. If you're near here or looking for some room revitalization it's worth a visit. In my 20 plus something years of frequenting various thrift / donation centers like Goodwill I can tell you people are mean - both employees and customers at these places. Unappreciated employees and volunteers result in short tempers and IDGAF attitude. Rude customers leaving trash and other stuff - I volunteered at a Goodwill for a short spell and have seen people use the dressing rooms as toilets. This Goodwill seemed just the opposite. No questionable smells, most the clothes didn't stink, prices were tolerable (I feel still on the higher side), and I asked a random employee a question and they didn't seem like I was adding to the pain of their life. BUT there are plenty of bins to go through and in the couple hours I was there they refreshed so many bins. Before coming, I think people need to do a bit of research between a "normal" Goodwill and an outlet like this. Nothing is hung up, nothing is "organized", and it's really a free for all when it comes to flipping through. That's the fun of the bins! I got 13 items for less than $30 during my trip which was such an awesome deal!

I love to see that they have expanded and the facilities are nice. When you walk in they have a market that sells various handmade items from various counties. Even if you don't volunteer you are welcome to stop by and shop the market. They are a Christian based nonprofit but you do not have to be Christian to volunteer. They do offer prayer over the meals you packed after the shift but you do not have to participate in that if it's not your thing. The staff are very nice, welcoming and accommodating. They have smaller lockers to use to store your belongings which is nice. The layout of the production for is nice and easy to follow. They assign you to a table and you work with others to pack the meals. Very simple process. Clean up is quick and easy afterwards. It genuinely feels good to volunteer and see the impact you make. FMSC always gives great testimonials of the work they do. Check them out if you are looking for volunteer opportunities!
