I like this thrift store. Decent selection of clothes and electronics. Not too expensive either. Its kind of a drive but its worth it.

If you're down to scrounge, this place might be for you (I'd just urge you to wash your hands after). That said, I specifically went here today because I needed a stapler. Mine went missing when I moved (probably in some box I've yet to unpack in my storage unit), and there's zero need to purchase a brand new stapler when I know I can get an old reliable Swingline from a thrift place like this (plus, I remembered on my first amble through here that they had a whole basket of staplers). Sure enough, I was able to acquire a stapler. But you can bet your ass that I brought along some staples to test out said staplers... the first one I picked up had a busted spring, but the second was fully functional. Both had been priced at $3. I mention this simply as a word of warning to consider testing before you buy.) I also picked up a bobbin thread case and a quart sized bag of crayons (both priced at $3) while I was there. This place is good for finding the kind of craft stuff your granny would keep around at a low price. And honestly, you're doing the environment a BIG favor to snag this kind of thing off a thrift store shelf rather than "convenience buy" it off Amazon or whatever. You can save money and feel good about yourself. The rest of the store has stuff like glassware, clothing, kids stuff, and holiday decor. It's not all amazing stuff. I reckon a lot of folks donate stuff they don't care to sort through when an elderly parent finally kicks it. The employee behind the checkout counter was a little slow to bother acknowledging me, but once we were interacting, they were friendly enough and wished me a good day; seemed like they were happy I actually bought something instead of just browsing.

Honestly, for a thrift place, things were remarkably well organized and not in too bad of disarray-- I've seen A LOT worse, lol. It was also pretty big, so I was there awhile scrounging the aisles. You will find a fair amount more clothing and footwear that's female-coded than male-coded in this store (I use those terms simply because I don't think clothing is restricted to gender-- I'm a guy who wears both "men's" and "women's" stuff). The ratio is skewed in that direction though, just to let you know. There's also plenty of children's stuff. And knick-knacks galore. Furniture, electronics, kitchenware. Just lots and lots of your typical thrift shop stuff. It was hopping inside. Possibly because it was Tuesday, which is Senior Discount Day (20% off), but yeah, people were enjoying looking around. I'm always glad to see people thrifting and reusing stuff that still has life in it. I personally came out of the shop with some nearly-new winter shoes for under twenty dollars, plus some very affordable thank you cards + envelopes! I was pretty happy.

My friend and I spent a good couple of hours here, browsing through their entire selection, & we ended up with a good cart full! For my items, I think I paid less than $50, so that was a score. I love the self checkout, too; there is typically someone around to help if you need it, but this is so much faster than waiting for a cashier!

I was just walking by to head somewhere else but was lured in by the display of boots visible from the window (and of course the "up to 90% off" sign). Upon entry I was given a friendly greeting by the employee behind the register, who let me know that there were some $1 bargains around the shop. I took some time to explore the aisles. It is entirely a clothes/accessories thrift shop, so tops, bottoms, coats, shoes, purses, hats, gloves, jewelry. Probably around 3/4s the inventory is "women's" and 1/4 "men's" (if you adhere to the gender binary; I personally shop both sides). I didn't see any kids clothes, so if you're searching for that I'd recommend going elsewhere. Good range of sizes on footwear! They even have a dressing room so you can try things on if you'd like to make sure it fits, and I noticed a couple spots with a small bench to make trying on shoes a little easier to accomplish too. These spots also had a full-length tri-panel mirror to give you multiple angles to view your potential new item. Like I said, this place felt reasonably upscale! Not at all like slumming it, even though there were indeed quite a few things marked down to $1 clearance. While I was there, a couple came in to hand off some of their hand-me-downs. Apparently this place will offer you cash in exchange for donations. So if you have something that's got little to no wear and need some change, this might be a good choice over just dropping off at Goodwill. Didn't purchase anything this time, but I'll likely pop back in another time when I finally need to replace my running shoes. Why buy new when I could get a nearly-new pair here for $15-30?

Unprofessional and unfair business practices led me to report this business to the Better Business…read moreBureau. I brought 22 items of clothing to High End Consignment, all of which were accepted by the owner to sell in her consignment store. She gave me an itemized Purchased Order, with a tracking number on it, and took down detailed description of each item. When I followed up with the owner at a later date, she complained that I hadn't followed up quickly enough and that she couldn't tell me anything about my items. I produced the itemized Purchase Order for her, which she looked at, then said she didn't recognize any of the items. I pointed to a dress hung up in a display behind her, which was mine. She checked a tag attached to the dress which was labeled with the tracking number on my Purchase order. At that point she said she needed some time to figure out what had happened with the rest of my clothes and said she needed to set up an appointment with me, and that the earliest time she could meet was three weeks away. However, when I returned for my appointment said she "didn't have the technology" to ascertain whether or not all of my 22 items had been sold, or at what prices. She was able to locate 4 of my 22 items, and invited ME to search around her showroom to attempt to locate the other items. She told me she was "doing me a favor" by giving me $24 to cover the profits of the remaining 18 items. This would mean that on average, each of these missing items sold for about $1.33 each. I want to be clear that it's not the low profit that I was given, but the unprofessional and unfair business practice of the owner that I want to complain about. I find it unacceptable that this company does not have a system to account for the items that are sold and at what prices each item is sold for. This means that basically she could have given me any amount of money she wanted to when I followed up with her, and I believe she did just that. I am submitting this complaint because I believe that any individual who brings clothing to sell at her store deserves documentation of the items that the store accepts. The owner is not running a donation center for clothing, she is running a High End consignment store. The nature of her business is to sell consigned items and it is pure incompetence not to keep records accounting for these items.
