They are smoking drugs with these prices. Have stopped shopping there because I'm not paying above retail for second hand items.

I took one of my good friends here with her two small children a couple of days ago. Once we got to…read morethe location they asked us to go to, she called them and told them where she was. My friend had her phone on speaker and they asked if she had a ride. smasher told them yes and she was then told to drive down the street to the facility and they would open the gate. Once she got inside the (white) lady with the bob shoulder len hair was very rude and began telling her she breached contract because she had me drive her to the facility. While on the phone I told the lady I work in local treatment facilities and I've spoken there before. She never said anything. So they finally allowed her to stay. Come to find out... the staff is VERY rude and don't like to be bothered. If you ask a question it's a problem. The facility has running vehicles and do not drive the women to their children's doctors appointment, stores, or job seeking. She was told the vans are for" emregency use only." They provide no child care at all. The women are responsible for finding their own childcare, getting rides to and from appointment, looking for jobs and getting to grocery stores on their own. The next day she asked if I could bring her to the grocery store and to meet here down the street at a place. It wasn't far from the facility and she was kicked out the next day because of where I picked her up at. When she got up the next morning she found ants and roaches crawling inside of her things and the food they offered there is expired since last year. I'm distraught to find out how these people go out into public places to promote this facility....yet they treat the women like trash. How do you expect someone to get on their feet after leaving an abusive situatio, becoming homeless and fearing for their lives. These women are having to take their children and walk EVERYWHERE they go. What if their abuser sees them? I'm so pissed right now. This needs to be dealt with immediately. This place is getting assistance from the state to run it this way is insane!! The staff there are most definitely working for a paycheck only....wheres the compassion... the empathy? We are now currently looking for a place for her and her children to go. If I could rate this place ZERO stars I would....

If you love Antiques, collectibles and Junktiques, this is a great place to stop when passing…read morethrough Beaumont. Right off IH10EB at Calder Ave, 1/2 block east of the interstate. Very easy to find. It has room after room after room of items and even an upstairs with multiple rooms. If you are looking for anything old, start here 1st. If you are someone who works in movie set designs ( I know it's a speciality job), you might find something you don't have to add to your own inventory. Just so you know, I don't know the owners and I don't work for this place and no family members or friends work for this place. I just happened upon it today and was blown away at how much they had on hand and I did buy something. This is just a review to help all those that like to look for old treasures and need a short break and want to find a bargain and might not know this place exist right off IH-10. Beaumont is a good place to stop before reaching Houston WB or to stop before you exit the state EB heading to Baton Rouge. - [ ] P.S. Travel Tip. For cheap gas, (like 20 cents a gal cheaper than on the interstate), take the College St exit for US 90, go West bound on US 90 for about 2 miles and you will reach the intersection with FM 364, and you will see a Speedy Stop station on the left, many pumps, clean rest rooms and food. If you are heading West to Houston you can a left at the light at FM 364 and it will bring you back to IH -10. If you are heading East to Baton Rouge, you just head back in the direct you came from to catch IH-10 EB. Safety note: if you are heading to Houston, I always take US 90 west from here because the interstate between Beaumont and Winnie is Notorious for highway accidents because of the construction going on and the poor signing for traffic control TxDOT and the construction company continues to allow to exist. Their solution is to keep lowering the speed limit instead of fixing the signing and to warning drivers further in advance for lane shifts and other changes not expected by normal drivers. AVOID IH-10 WB to Houston by taking US 90 West where it will merge with IH-10 at the Loop 610 in Houston. Drive safe. Sorry for getting off topic.
