Say what you want about Goodwill, but I love coming here, both for donating and checking out the merchandise. I mostly come up here to drop off goods, but sometimes I can't help myself and have to go in and check out the bargains. When I pull up to the drop off, there is always someone there to greet me with a smile and help me unload my stuff. I then go and park and walk in, where I am always greeted with a smile and a hello by the staff. I walk around the clothes, which has a huge selection, but I prefer the homegoods area, I found some really nice Pilsner beer glasses there for .50 cents each! I have to be careful not to bring home more than I dropped off though! read more

Very large store with many different items. Loved how all Halloween items were organized into their own section. Walked around for a while and wasn't approached by any employees. Really wanted this bowling ball with original papers and receipts from 1985. It was 12 lbs. too heavy for this gal. Items were priced as marked. No bargaining for lower prices here. read more

Wow! You can find so many cool things at the Apopka Goodwill store. I was looking for costume pieces for an upcoming event and found so much more. Unfortunately a 1 star review is as low as one can possibly go. The prices on these FREE items that the community donates are simply outrageous. $30 for a pair of beat up Asics running shoes. $8 for a tee shirt covered in stains. $4 for a bag of wood chopsticks that were free from a a local Chinese restaurant? $6 for an empty VOSS water bottle? Seriously? I suggest donating and shopping at one of the less known thrift stores in the area because unfortunately all of the Goodwill locations in the area are priced like this. read more

They removed the dressing rooms.. don't allow returns only exchanges. So buying a pair of pants or any clothes that will fit is impossible. Where the dressing rooms used to be a rack of purses :/ read more

Stopped by this location looking for a few props for my sons film camp. This one is close to my house but unfortunately one of my least favorite locations. The location is easy to find, there is ample parking available & the store is a good size. There is a drive-thru donation center around back. The employees that I have dealt with when donating items have always been very courteous & they come to your car to get your donations. Although the clothing section of this store is fairly well organized, the homewares sections can be a bit messy. You really have to pick through things, carefully. Some of the items in this section I've found to be a bit overpriced. They run regular specials of certain percentages off whatever the color tag is of the day, so you can find a good deal if you come on the right day. read more

The store is extremely messy but you can find some good items if you do some actual digging. The shelves are extremely messy and can be unorganized but you can and will find some diamonds in the rough! I haven't had any issues with the staff like other reviews have had. There have been a couple of times where the hours on various websites are listed incorrectly but I live locally so it isn't a big deal for me since I don't make long drives to this place. read more

It was me and three other people in line waiting to check out. 15-20 minutes later, Alyssa C. decided to tell us that the line started further back than expected. She then stood at the register along side another cashier.....she just stood there.....doing nothing....the whole time. She then proceeded talking very negatively about the homeless lady who was trying to stay dry and sleep. I never have problems with this location but this is something that I do not take lightly. I arrived to donate stuff to this location at 6:58pm. Location closes at 7pm, it was one small bag of stuff from my purse. The guy standing behind the door just stood by the donation door shaking his head no.. I mean we are donating stuff for you to turn around and sell, you would think you would stay open until 7pm... Even though they require masks and state it over the intercom. When I told an employee that a person was not wearing a mask they shrugged and walked away. Having it hang from your ear is not wearing. There were 5 high risk customers in there shopping that were put to risk. Shame on you goodwill. read more

This is my favorite goodwill but everywhere online and even when I called and asked I was told they were open until 7 or later. So now twice I've taken a 23 mile Uber ride to get to a store that closed at 5. WHY WOULD YOU NOT TELL ME THAT WHEN I CALLED THAT DAY! This store recently opened in Apopka. I am so excited about it because it is pretty big, it has a donation center and a job connection center. The location is super convenient and they have a very nice parking lot. On the opening day they had so many things to sell and many of the items were new, so that was awesome. I don't give it a full 5 star rate because I think some of the items are a little over priced. For example, I found handbags for $10.99 and that is not a price I am willing to pay for a used small handbag. I hope they keep up the good work but l that they low the prices. read more

I have shopped here for quite some time now and for the most part I've enjoyed it but there have now been two occasions where I've found something and an employee had called a family member/friend to come get that item but yet left it on the floor, The first time the employee admitted it and just told me I could have the item I had picked up. This time the same thing happened but the item was taken away. The manager stated that the item I was in the middle of paying for belonged to someone else, i was pointed in the direction of the said item by another customer who shops there frequently and the item had only Been on the floor for a matter of seconds when I got it, it had no price on it, the woman who told me to go get it said it was 9.99 but since it had no price I asked for a new price, the manager said "a blonde lady" had it. So the cashier paged (in English) for anyone with that tag. And immediately a brunette Latina woman who spoke no English comes up and claims it's hers. The whole situation was ridiculous but my main point is the item has no tag, no one complained saying it was theirs I walked all over the store with it, the manager stated it was a blonde woman and it wasn't. I had handed my cash to the cashier when this woman claiming to be a manager came up and started all this. I have since returned and another employee confirmed she was not a manager just a woman who prices things in the back and she did indeed have a family member show up last minute to claim the item I was buying, she took the tag and stuck it in the cashiers pile without anyone knowing and when her "friend" showed up did not have the tag. I've seen so many heated situations at this goodwill, because of this same situation. read more

I used to be a regular here. Last night I was there for an hour found TWO Shirts that I liked, on the "blazer" rack (right in front of an employees register). Got up to the register had no tag, she called the floor person who marked one $8 and one $10 (Shirts!). She said they had specialty tags, someone must have pulled off in the dressing room (giving me the eye). I was mad as hell and asked to speak to the manager, I told him the lady passive aggressively accused me of pulling the tags off and up priced the only two items I found that I liked in my hour visit. He offered to go half of what she priced; I took his deal because I really liked the shirts. Really I wanted to tell him to take a hike. A good manager would have honored the regular $3.89 price on shirts for 1) I WAS a regular 2) customer service (time it took to deal with this) and 3 on behalf of the employees ignorant attitude and false accusation.
