To my surprise there was no line, no wait. I was met at the window by a friendly young man. The meds were ready and I was able to continue my errands. Easy peasy, just like I like!

I answered a call from Walgreens today and a recorded message started telling me there was a delay…read morein my prescription.....then it would repeat that ....again....and again.....and again. I called back. I was holding on the phone.....I did this for 40+ minutes and a real live female person answered the phone and said I will be with you in just a minute...after a while....I was disconnected and transferred to no-mans land where no one would answer the phone. I called back and now10 minutes, there are once again 2 customers ahead of me. And the computer lady keeps saying she is sorry to keep me waiting! Actually, if there were a minus.....I would give a minus 100. It is sad. This used to be a vibrant store full of staff who could help you in a reasonable time. The voice mail system is terrible. The store is under staffed. You walk in there and can't find anyone except in the pharmacy. There are still 2 callers ahead of me. Actually, I have been moving my prescriptions to another pharmacy...but I missed this one. I may be holding on this phone until my next birthday ...which is in November!!! and there are still 2 callers ahead of me. It is now 26 minutes holding. And they will be with me shorly. This is not a good experience. Their staff is assisting other customers. Please pick up the phone and don't hang up on me again! There are still 2 callers ahead of me.....at 32 minutes holding. Does anybody at Walgreens care? This is so past bad customer service...I think their customer service folks all ran away. Oh yeah! One caller ahead of me. Lets see if i get disconnected again. The lady on the recorded message now has static in her voice because she has talked so much! And, my phone is running out of juice. 46 minutes on hold now. Now 51 monutes. Wonder if AI would do better? 59 minutes at 7:15 PM. Well....she, the real person, answered and once again asked me to hold on....so here we go.....didn't wait for me to say no.....didn't say please. Now 1 hr +. Oh she came back. FINALLY!!!!!!!!! Over 2+ hours.... Final recorded message....I am sorry. We are having technical issues and are having trouble processing your call. I have never had a good experience, the people are so rude and disrespectful. I had to get my insulin because I had completely ran out and they tried to say I have never gotten my insulin filled there and that they have no prescription for the type of insulin i've been on since I was 8. I have to call my doctors office every single time and every time it has been a problem on Walgreens not my doctor. I have to call my doctor and have them call Walgreens to get it situated.

Basic diner fare with burgers, hotdogs, sandwiches and chicken salads. They don't have fries but have fried potato wedges. I got the bacon cheeseburger and it was very tasty and less than $7. They have 8-10 different blue bell flavors of ice cream that made for a delicious chocolate milkshake. Perfect spot to come and feel nostalgic and get a good cheap bite to eat. The line for the pharmacy drive-through section was pretty long so I decided to pick it up on the inside. It was still a line, but they were moving pretty fast. My checkout experience with the pharmacy technician was very quick and easy. She was also very nice. Once I picked up my medication, I decided to stroll through the aisles to look for some beauty products as usual the isles were very neat, tidy organized, and everything that I was looking for I found with ease, I was also greeted by the front end cashier. She was very sweet and made my check out experience very easy and quick. Overall, I love coming to the CVS because they have great customer service. The store is always neat and organized and I can always find what I'm looking for or depend on the store associates to help me out.

Anyone can make a mistake, own it and move on. We, after all, are humans. I placed a prescription to be filled. Walgreens called me when it was filled. I went a couple of days later. I was told that it needed to be filled out, I was surprised but ok, I waited. 1 1/2hr Was told that the new card for 2024 was invalid or not activated. That they were calling insurance offices to confirm, that perhaps I should come back another day. I was there, the tech was not calling anyone!! total lie!!!. There is only one insurance office to call. What actually happened: Walgreens made the mistake of filling out the wrong med.! Instead of saying the wrong med was filled out, they gave me the reason that the Insurance Card was not activated and to come back another day. (I had called insurance company from home to make sure all would be set) I went to my car and called insurance company again and that's when the insurance company told me that the wrong med was filled and that is why the Insurance company declined the authorization. It was too soon for that particular med to be refilled. Insurance company called in my behalf to straighten it out and the Pharmacy Tech, declined to answer the phone calls claiming she was too busy. I WAS THERE , SHE WAS NOT THAT BUSY to answer the phone and have the matter cleared. A manager with a sour attitude came out shouting at me that they were filling out the correct prescription.. I'm an educated person, I resented how this manager addressed me. Obviously her team's attitude reflects hers. By now 3 hours had elapsed. I walked out without any med. I do not recommend this pharmacy. BEWARE! Apparently their parents forgot to teach them, kindness, empathy for the sick , and honesty.
