Gosh where does one begin when so much emotion is running through my heart to my fingers. On April 24th our wonderful Peyton became ill and of course it was a Sat night, I scrambled to see who was open and Good Vets popped up that they were open Sunday morning so i quickly made an appointment. I called early that morning and asked if we could bring our girl in earlier and the Vet was very accommodating. We rushed down it was as if they were waiting for us whisking us right in and took care of us right away. Unfortunately, it was time that we had to say goodbye to our faithful loving companion due to a fast-spreading cancer allowing her to cross over the rainbow bridge, she gave us 13 1/2 wonderful years and she was 15 when she passed. Here is where my heart comes in, we've had many dogs in our lives and spent many times at the vet for various things. We've put dogs down and felt the care and compassion were good UNTIL we experienced the staff at this facility. From the front desk to the intake vet tech and Dr. K words escape me from expressing the gratitude and genuine care they gave both my husband and I and of course Peyton. They NEVER rushed us out even though they were busy they let us spend time both before and after which gave us as much closure as one could get at that time. Today we finally were able to pick up her ashes and bring her home where she belongs, the Urn was gorgeous we got a clay paw print, a death cert. on the day she was cremated (only her ashes) and a beautiful card with every name that cared for us that day. We are truly blessed and indebted to this facility making a horrible situation more bearable. We knew it was going to be a tough year as we have her sister who is also 15 and one who is 12 and I have no doubt where I will seek loving care for our girls. Hopefully I'm not missing anyone THANK YOU: Dr. K, Emily, Heaven, Galiled (sp), Jasmin and Ariana, you made two very sad people feel loved!! read more
