During our two-night stay, the entire hotel lost water at approximately 10:00 PM, and it wasn't restored until around 6:30 the following morning. This wasn't a minor inconvenience. My daughter was in the middle of a shower with soap all over her body and had no way to rinse off except with bottled water. We couldn't flush the toilet in our room for the entire night and had no choice but to continue using it. It made for an incredibly unpleasant and unsanitary experience. Things happen. I understand that. Hotels can't always prevent emergencies. What matters is how they respond. When we checked out the next morning, the manager acknowledged the situation and told us they would be applying a discount to our stay. That never happened. After returning home, I sent a courteous email to the hotel explaining what happened and simply requested that they refund the one night that was affected. I wasn't asking for both nights. I thought that was a fair and reasonable request given that one of the most basic services a hotel provides, running water, was unavailable for nearly nine hours. They never responded. No refund. No discount. No apology. Not even the courtesy of a reply. The complete lack of communication is honestly more disappointing than the water outage itself. Problems happen. Ignoring your guests after promising to make things right is a choice. Based on our experience, I would highly recommend staying in a different hotel when visiting Ashland.

The outside areas are amazing and our toddler loved walking through the field and outside eating space. There's not much around Wolf Creek (unless you go 20 miles south to Grant Pass) so this IS the best food around. Again, staff were great and the accommodations were comfortable. Peaceful, tranquil, and in a hey setting, the Wolf Creek Inn is a place I would come back to. The restaurant/tavern is good and we ate all of our meals here. The wedge salad, Cuban sandwich and the biscuit breakfast sandwich with sausage were our favorites. Everyone is incredibly accommodating and nice who works there and we even got to chat with several of the other guests because it is a small and intimate place. When my husband and I ordered a mixed drink not on the menu, Nancy was happy to mix it up for us. When we asked for recommendations for places to walk, we got some amazingly beautiful walks within the area. If I'm ever back here, I would be overjoyed to stay again! I wanted to make a reservation with them and all of the online sites had the rate at about $93/night. When I called though they told me the rate was $97/night. So I figured I wait until it was closer to the time I was going to travel. As I waited the rate kept going up and up and up, to the point where it was about $110/night. And then I figured, the hell with them I'll find another place. Yreka is about 35 to 40 miles from Ashland, Oregon and I found a hotel, at least equally as good for the same night in Ashland for at least $20 less (more if you include the lack of taxes) and only $3 more than the price they first quoted. And Ashland is a nicer town with more amenities than Yreka. In addition, gasoline is cheaper in Ashland (or nearby) if you need to fill up (I did). I was traveling well over 300 miles that day and the extra 40 to 45 minutes from Ashland versus Yreka wasn't much of a big deal. But particularly because when I called them they were insistent on charging me more than the online rate I stayed in an equally nice place and in a nicer town. So these folks can continue to milk the ignorant cows without really knowing who their competition is. I might have dropped off some sand so they can pound on it, but I was passing through and really didn't want to stop. Mooo.

Neglected, dirty, and under chaotic construction -- an absolute ripoff at $250/night…read moreDo not stay here until this property gets its act together. My wife, step-son, and I stayed here last Friday and it was a complete and utter disappointment from the moment we arrived. We were placed in a separate building from the main hotel -- a building that was actively under construction, and not organized, professional construction. It looked like the owner hired a bunch of kids to do the work. Tools scattered around, drop cloths in the hallways, construction equipment and garbage strewn throughout the building, and a dumpster partially blocking the entrance that we had to walk around just to get to our room. Nobody warned us about any of this at booking or check-in. The neglect extended to the grounds. The small grassy play area had overflowing garbage cans and litter all over the ground, and a homeless person was lying in it. Not exactly the family-friendly environment you expect from a Best Western. The room itself clearly hadn't been properly cleaned. A candy bar wrapper under the bed. Food crumbs on the couch. Black dirt or mold pressed into the shower grout. Insects in the bedroom. Even the toilet paper roll was nearly spent -- housekeeping apparently couldn't be bothered to replace it. For roughly $250 a night, this is inexcusable. We paid full price for a dirty room in a neglected property that was, in effect, a construction site. I felt genuinely ripped off. If management insists on renting rooms mid-renovation, they should discount them heavily and disclose the conditions upfront -- and at minimum, the rooms should be clean. Save your money and stay elsewhere until the construction is done and management starts caring again.

We arrived at just before 4 on a relatively warm Tuesday after battling the large trucks on I-5. Staff was competent and welcoming, and gave us detailed instructions on how to access our room. After situating ourselves, we took full advantage of the pool and subsequently, the hot tub. Feeling fully refreshed, we would have dinner in the separately reviewed on-site eatery, then go into town to enjoy our show. Sleep was effective, and we were refreshed for our next big drive. If the pool isn't sufficient for your needs, there is also tennis, and easy access to a pizza pub and coffee cart. Need a reason to return! Only regret is not taking any photos, which will be undone on that next visit.

It has a huge Willow Tree in front, a pond with ducks, a gazebo with a beautiful garden area and pond with fish, and is just so well done. We watched deer in the morning while we ate our breakfast! Lisa was so nice and took good care of us! Cookies when we arrived, a handwritten note, truffles in our room. Super friendly and helpful when we arrived. Every detail was so wonderful. There is a pool also but it was closed due to the weather being too cold but I'm sure it's amazing in the summer. Parking is good also. The inn is not too far from downtown and they offer a delicious breakfast as well. We had apple cider crème brûlée and sweet potato hash with chicken apple sausage. Good coffee too! Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back to this lovely and charming place!

There is no onsite staff, so you need to make sure you've received your welcome email which contains the door codes to enter. The room was elegant, with very high ceilings, completely decorated in the victorian style with lovely antique furniture, photos, and decor (old oil lamps etc.). Each morning, there is hot coffee prepared in the sitting room, which has a large table, lots of board games, and some comfy couches and chairs to sit in. My partner and I had an easy time doing a few hours of work each day in this room. The internet was fast and reliable. The hotel is very private, with no front desk staff and very few other guests, but there is someone on hand via phone or text, and they are able to get to the hotel within a few minutes to help with anything you need! They use a great platform for managing the reservation, where you can very easily purchase a 1pm late check out (for $25) - that came in very handy when we realized in the morning that we weren't going to be ready to leave at 11am! There was an issue at check in where they needed a card from me but since it was a work trip I was not about to give them my card. So I called accounting and it got sorted. That wasn't a huge deal however I will say we paid for it online through their site with the same card they eventually got a picture of. They should have just been able to put a hold on the card that way like every other hotel in 2026. (Recently went on a different road trip and stayed at 3 different hotels including a choice in Wenatchee and none of them asked for my card). While I was sitting and waiting to check in the 2 men (blonde one and curly hair one) at the counter were gossiping loudly like little 13 year old girls about their coworkers, which ones they had issues with and which they didn't. And while gossiping is a bad habit that wasn't my main issue it's that they were doing it in front of me. All the while swearing and just being rude. 30 minutes go by and I had to approach them to get checked in again even though the accountant had sent info 28 minutes prior. And when I approached they said they knew and were waiting for me...I was literally sitting on the bench next to the desk waiting for them and was the only one other than them in the lobby. Ok so got checked in. Elevator was down. Room was nothing to write home about. But to be expected. The bed was comfy. Pillows were awful so bring your own. Breakfast was normal. As I was leaving the next morning again I hear people dropping f bombs in the lobby. This time it wasn't employees it was some service worker there maybe elevator tech. Either way they felt comfortable to do that which says something about the establishment they are working at. Don't recommend and I will stay somewhere else next time I'm in town
