My mechanic couldn't answer a question I had about an infrequent slipping that seemed to occur only…read moresporadically in colder weather. My mechanic recommended speaking with Gillespie Transmissions for insight. Mr. Gillespie answered the phone and was kind enough to stay and listen to me describe my car's issue, and give me a couple things to think about before I replace the entire transmission. Mr. Gillespie did NOT try and make a sale, or take advantage of me or my situation. Because of Mr. Gillespie's honesty and forthrightness, I would not hesitate to do business with him in the future. Thank you.

This place had my car for 3-whole days they never called me I had to call them. Car seemed to have…read morea transmission problem. But now I know it was the coil pack going in and out causing the transmission to pulse. All they would say is it needs a tune up not telling me that now the check engine light is on and car barely idles. They called me to tell me it would be over $300 to repair. I told them how much do I owe you and paid $54 for them to drive my car waste my gas and not tell me it needed a ignition coil. I drove the car home and hooked up my code reader code P0302 came up. This means misfire cylinder 2 bad coil. I bought 1-coil and 4-spark plugs for $120. So labor cost $180 in this place for 1/2 of work. Coil packs have 1-screw and a plug to unplug. Spark plugs are right up front no cover to remove a piece of cake. I would give this place a zero if I could

I am a long term customer client of Fink's Garage. They have been there every year to help me keep…read moremy GMC on the road safely. My GMC has not been easy to maintain, but Finks has worked with me to deal with several issues that have been addressed. Recently, I needed to get frame work done that needed a specialist as it needed professional welding.....they referred me to YAWF and Chris, who handled my frame work beautifully. I highly recommend Fink's garage as I would not go ANYWHERE else, with the exception of the frame specialist they referred me to. Alice, Missy, Scott and Damien are super cool people and they are very fair for the quality of work done. Jeanne Gallagher and John Friedrich approve this review!

Damien was so knowledgeable and kind, explaining everything he found and what he needed to do to fix it. I had an appt at the local KIA this weekend for an oil change and inspection but I had to cancel due to it being at Fink's. He was happy to accommodate me and all of my needs while keeping me in the loop with everything, including pricing. The parts came in earlier than expected and I was able to get my car back before the weekend! While my circumstances were less than desirable, I am so glad to have found Fink's. We plan to happily return for any future needs and send anyone we know their way. Thank you for turning a bad week around. You guys are the best!

Worst Experience ever, please do not take your vehicle to WITMER AUTOMOTIVE LLC!!!…read more My vehicle shut off on me while driving, then would crank and no start. Told them I was getting strong cranks and nothing, and my car radio would shut off on its own, and power windows would lower on its own when key was in the on position. So, I took my vehicle in for a deep electrical diagnostic for $270. They put a jump pack on it and wallah car started. Great, you would think now that car is on they would do there deep diagnostic that I paid for. They stated my battery was bad, even though with all the cranks trying to start will drain the battery. I proceeded to let them know, my $300 dollar battery was under warranty, 5 min drive to advance auto and I would have a perfectly new strong battery. They stated I would have to purchase the battery from them to continue the Diagnosis, since I had no choice I had to purchase a battery from them for $450 dollars. Good now they could continue to diagnose my vehicle, at least that's what I thought. They had my vehicle for a week, and stated my issue was my battery. So they told me to pickup my vehicle, even though it was an expensive $750 dollar fix, and I was forced to buy a battery even though my battery was under warranty. I was content my vehicle was fixed, I picked up my car. Drove to Advance Auto to get the new battery that was covered under warranty to have as a spare, and my car shut off . So I cranked car and it turned back on, I was hoping it was just a hiccup. But 15 minutes later, I was stuck again. Now I have the same crank and no start condition. I got a hold of them and let them know, my car is not fixed, it left me stranded. I asked if they would cover the tow, since they deemed my car was fixed with the supposed diagnostic and fix they did. Of course they said they can not do so, so now I would have to pay for another tow to there shop. I decided not to take it back to them, since this whole ordeal was not pleasant at all. They had over a week with my vehicle, and completely nothing got fixed. I'm literally $750 dollars in the whole, and back where I started . I basically feel like I just purchased a $750 dollar battery and it wasn't the problem, cause they obviously didn't diagnose my car it was in there parking lot most of the time. Just trying to save you guys the heartache!!!!
